The trade had to be done since he was the only trade asset that would get us an early draft pick. They downplayed the position until this past offseason. Because you had. Gm taking marching orders from someone above him stuck in 1979... Thus we got 1977 era Giants football... Well it appears that we've FINALLY have moved on from 2011 and will field a team that is modern and relevant. I don't see it happening right away, but I'm hopeful

Or what Diggs did 2 years ago standing by himself watching the Chiefs celebrate... These guys pour everything into it an get so damn close Deebo is am elite NFL football player. Very Surprised they didn’t go Deebo either o a run , scree or down field They had time.. I think after that 1st down play was stopped the team as a whole panicked.. They could have run it just to get the offense moving and in rhythm... Get that initial 1st down then you have the opposing defense kinda on their heels..happens all the time in 2 minute drills

You have your structure for whomever is playing QB in 2023..

Good for Beckham. He's gotten unfairly demonized over the years. Hard to root against either of these teams. I'd call it pick em'. They'll make a big deal out of home field for rams, but really the crowd will be neutral and being ones home town may bring more pressure.

The 'best' part is we're spent a 1st round pick (who I love..) and Golloday yet we're arguably still trying to replace OBJ going into next year.
Both sides in the superbowl will have top tier talent at WR. Including the Bengals who passed up on a franchise OT for a franchise WR. Interesting...

W3 had numerous chances to draft multiple dynamic playmakers that are part of the solution...... It's what happens when you have owners who are archaic and influenced by high dollar season ticket owners that want prehistoric football give those marching orders It's a new era...let's see what happens

2 we'll played games for the most part both sides of the ball Both offense and defense made plays when needed...cool coaching head games and such.. Some mistakes costing teams though ... Actually shocked the Rams pulled that out after leaving all those points on the field in the first half...should have been up 2 scores and it looked like the 49ers were about to steal it..

Opening line Rams (-4) Bengals I would have thought about 2 points tops. Bet the Bengals. The real difference is going to be Joe Burrow. At least that's what I think.

Aaron Donald and Von Miller against that OL? Sure, Burrow will play well at times. Just hope you dont aren't playing from behind at the end of the game. Chiefs have 1 good pass rusher. Rams have Donald and Miller. Floyd is also good.

He's the reason that team is there. Not much talent on D or offence outside of WR's/HBs Replace him with Stafford even and you dont get to the SB. Stafford is not a truck but is that tier right below.

I don't know what's going to happen in 2 weeks....but Joe Borrow is very "Brady-esque". The kid has ice water in his veins. He's special and that makes the Bengals a very dangerous team for the foreseeable future.

Burrow has something peak Eli never had ....wheels

He was a lethal sniper post season in '07 and '11. Much like what we have seen this post season lesser known targets strategically used in key spots were a factor. When Bengals number 11 came on the field fresh up from the practice squad I told my wife Burrow would go to him for that critical 2 pter. Its coming faster for Burrow--that scramble when he tore free was Eli-esque.

I honestly always thought the 09 season was his best or second best. He was money for 5 games then had that plantar fasciitis that hurt his game for like 4 weeks, but right after he was back to playing lights out. I just always thought he was completely dialed in that year. Noone really talks about that season because we sucked and his stats slumped during that foot injury, but think its one of his tops.

There is a rumor swirling, and take it for what it is, a rumor, that Tom Brady is being hesitant on the retirement call right now because he wants to see if the San Francisco 49ers would take him on for a one year shot in 2022. The 49ers were his childhood dream spot. Garoppolo is most likely out. The 49ers are set up for a run next year already. They do have Trey Lance but.... would they turn down Tom?
Makes sense, even for a rumor.

Both teams are likable while the Rams have significantly more established stars.

That offense was so in sync up until the Plax incident.
