That was a huge statistical year for QBs. Eli was 4th or 5th best in the regular season. Playoff run set him apart. I honestly always thought the 09 season was his best or second best. He was money for 5 games then had that plantar fasciitis that hurt his game for like 4 weeks, but right after he was back to playing lights out. I just always thought he was completely dialed in that year. Noone really talks about that season because we sucked and his stats slumped during that foot injury, but think its one of his tops. 2012 started off real good. That offense was so in sync up until the Plax incident. 2008

Plax killed them.

Good for Beckham. He's gotten unfairly demonized over the years. Hard to root against either of these teams. I'd call it pick em'. They'll make a big deal out of home field for rams, but really the crowd will be neutral and being ones home town may bring more pressure. com’on, you don’t go on ESPN for an exclusive interview to kill you QB. the rest i agree with. Both teams are likable while the Rams have significantly more established stars. he got traded to a place he didnt want to go but by that incompetent buffoon gettleman. by the looks of it since he left he definitely needed a change. it was a bad fit. hes not the only one who left a place and went onto greener and smoother pastures, stefan diggs got out of Minnesota and went to the Bills and no one is on his case for it

Soon after, Eli was done yet in his defense he had no OL. It took so many screwups to come to today. Today which is as weak a roster i have ever seen. Fans can blame a coach to make them feel better but it’s now the roster more than ever imo.

That was the height of my Fandom. Chopping down (figuratively) haters was my mission that year. I miss that sense of pride.

I think we can give him a pass on that when a guy like Rodgers who lied about Covid vaccine will likely win MVP this year.

OBJ was a distraction and a no-show to his playoff game vs the Packers. His self-serving asinine interview on ESPN shipped himself out while i ironically think Eli was done regardless.

I miss that sense of pride. You are probably younger than most of us here. My first school fist fight was in JR High when a Cardinals fan ridiculed me for my Giants notebook in the hallway(70s). There were zero band wagon fans when they got dominant the first time with those LBs and the emergence of Simms. Hang tough it will be even sweeter this time.

Going for LA as I think they're the better all around team & were built this yr to go all out to win the SB, no way they blow it now, especially being that for the 2nd yr in a row, the home team is playing the SB at their home stadium. I want Stafford to get a ring as that will cement his chances at being a HOFer, he can't be held responsible for his under 500 career record as the QB of horrendous Lions teams throughout his career there. His 1st yr on a legit playoff contender & he leads them to the SB. Also wanna see OBJ get a ring as well. Rams front 7 will be the best that Bengals have faced so far and if they study the Titans game film where they sacked McCauley 9x, they can duplicate it. Rams D is better than KC's D, I don't see them blowing a 2 score lead in the SB.

I don't think he whined once through all their turmoil and losing. To win Championships it takes vets holding others accountable--Strahan, Tuck for us, but Donald taking on that role for the Rams probably gets them their ring.

Burrow ...he legit has an it factor that is rare Hoping for a great game no matter what

I got money on obj winning mvp. 25-1. I like the story of Stafford getting a ring. But, the bengals going 2-14 two years ago and having a sub par line winning the super bowl would shine a lot of hope down on us.

Vikings are hiring Jim Harbaugh....
Im pretty envious of that.
If the Vikings become a threat in the next 2 years, while we are contemplating firing Daboll, Im going to be pretty upset.

I thought the alt Mannings' broadcast was fun, enjoyed them more than the standard broadcast team...Glad they are extending them.

I can see this being the new trend, but topping the Mannings might be difficult. Maybe Brady-Gronk has a future in this.
