Everyone take a deep breath. We stunk yesterday. No way around that. We knew going in that our offense was off for a slow start. Golladay told us and our very own Roosevelt told us to expect that. Anyone expecting the greatest show on turf was asking for disappointment. With that said I don't believe this was the same crap anemic offense we have seen the last few years. I think they were rusty as hell. There were some questionable calls for sure (that drive after the fumble recovery for sure).
The positives did not exist in the past. The Broncos had a 8+ minute drive and kicked a field goal. We came right back and marched down the field for a TD. We responded, which we could not do in the past. Then second half starts, Broncos drive 8+ minutes again and score a TD. We came back and drove right down the field. Jones got dumb and fumbled but we responded well before that. Broncos drive down again 5+ minutes and kick a FG. We came right back and drove down the field but we couldn't punch it in.
Our offense needs to improve but the failures IMO were that of being out of coordination and being rusty as hell. We had zero run game going too. I have complete faith this O will get it together and look much different as the season progresses.
The D scares me though. We were close all night, just couldn't take Bridgewater down. I have to believe our talent and DC will figure this shit out because if they don't it won't matter what the O does.
We got smoked. Quick turnaround and a road game against our rivals.

they got the whole season last year. This year i’ll give em 6-ish games to show me a playoff caliber team.
A win in any fashion will quiet some noise on thursday. some reasons to be cautiously optimistic about that game. A convincing win would be nice, but let’s not go crazy

We’ve been smoked more than Cheech and Chong. Since ‘17, we’re 3-12 in the month of September. So, this isn’t an anomaly. We always start a season with an L, and it begins to spiral out of control by October. I can take a loss, I’m beyond used to it by now. However, we got beat down at every facet of the game. By, a team that by all intents and purposes is terrible. Lucky for us, we have Washington on a short week. With a quarterback, who’s named after a beer. If we can’t beat them, then we’re shit out of luck.

Who the hell do they think they are? They aren’t HOFers none of them! Judge ****ed up! Just who the **** does he think he is? We have some good damn players on this team! There’s no excuse. Change the damn scheme and MAKE the greatest show on turf. A real head coach could do it! This coach is a piece of shit! Now see, I really didn’t want to go here so I’m going to stop now.

I’m really disappointed in the defense. I didn’t expect that shit show. I’m really starting to suspect that Lawrence and Williams are overrated. They are getting no penetration whatsoever. And when a blitz is called, I look and look and can’t find it for the life of me.

Cleveland just lost their first game for the 17th year in a row, so we still have that record ahead of us. What are we up to 4, 5, 6 ? If our offense looked liked crap against a pretty good defense in Denver what the hell is this Washington unit gonna do on a short week ?

That was five years ago, and yet it feels even longer. Last time we put a good product on the field, dinosaurs were roaming the earth.

They had a lot of inside pressure problem is when flushed out side the pocket there was no-one on the edge to either sack him or tern him back into the DL trust me Lawrence and Williams were back thee the edge guys need to pick it up.

Good overall post. I am fairly relaxed, the issue is I just don’t feel excited about the next game. I want to, and probably will by the time kickoff happens, but all this losing is getting HARD to take.

I just think the offense I watched yesterday was not the the same anemic, can't move the ball at all offense of the last few years. They responded well over and over. A few horrible plays/mistakes that they simply could not overcome. I'm excited still for Thursday, no predictions on my mood after that though lol.

If we can’t beat them, then we’re shit out of luck. This. Additionally, after how we ended the season last year, dependent on Philly for a playoff spot, you would have thought the team would come out with some fire. Nope. To the OP, I'm usually optimistic about the Giants, so I know where you're coming from. But this has gone too far. I don't expect this team to win a Super Bowl. But can we get a little something to be proud of for once? We haven't had a winning record since 1/1/16. If we had a win yesterday, we could have put that stat to bed, even if only for a moment. And we were playing the Broncos, who are not good. At home. First time fans have been in the stadium in forever. And that's how you play? That performance, in my opinion, isn't just a fluke that we shouldn't worry about. It is indicative of a team that is going to disappoint all season. Maybe they'll start to prove me wrong. I'll gladly come back here and eat crow if that's the case. But for now, the reality is that there's supposed to be some actual building during a rebuild. And yet we keep making the same mistakes. Lousy o-line. Stupid mistakes on D. Poor offensive scheme. Lame QB play. Same crap, different year. Hence all the frustration.

Nothing wrong with your post, I want that too but they had no choice but to sit their starters. They are all injured and some coming back from major injuries. I expect them to score some major points this year but not right off the bat. Jones at least showed the ability to learn from him obvious mistake while running it and slid the very next time he was in that position. I'm sure Judge will have him sliding laps instead of running them this week. Other positive news is that Thomas looked fantastic against the pass rush yesterday. Gave up maybe 1 or 2 pressures all game.
Short week. No need to lose faith yet. Hold the ship gents.

I don't think their O will be much, they gave up a ton of pressure and couldn't run the ball until late; but their D is a solid D.
Washington's D is one of the best Ds we will face all year along with the Rams and Bucs, so I agree they will be a tough challenge. RT is my biggest worry.

and as poor as we played yesterday, and we did, Teddy B really did play well, something that Denver has been missing the last few years.
