This dude is the most inconsistent player on the team next to Engram.. Talented players who have no ****ing clue what it takes to win a game when the opportunity is there.

I’ve said this since last year, his game is eerily similar to Engram. Obvious talent and play making ability that is plagued by persistent mistakes which occur in the biggest of spots. He’s had some brutal drops, none more than tonight. Gotta have that ball.

Blown coverage, wide open. The throw could’ve been better. It was a bit flat and long.

Sure he's good for a big play or two, but more often than not he's dropping a pass.

Dropped passes all through college. It’s why he was a 5th round pick.

It’s why he slid to the 5th round. Dude can be a beast when his head is in the game. And he can outrun just about anyone. But he was like that at auburn. Look good, make some good catches. Then when needed the most, would drop easy passes for no reason. Was hoping when the giants got him they could help him work that out and if so, have the streak of that draft. But that seems to have never gone away for him. Has all the talent in the world. Just drops passes at the worst possible time

He’s not good enough to make my shit list. Dexter Lawrence right now is knee deep in it. This guy was supposed to take that next step. Instead, he’s moonwalking into oblivion.

Dude had his head like 2ft from the ball. That simply cannot happen, ........ever. We had that game won.

He doesn't make enough plays to be on any list of mine, unfortunately.

5th rounder, plays like one at times. To be fair, it was one of Gettleman's better picks that you can actually call good value.

I thought he'd become our Ike Hilliard. I was wrong.
We drafted Toney with our #1 pick. He needs to see the field consistently with Golladay and Shep.
Slayton has his moments, but he can't make the clutch catch (BTW, the best QBs don't leave that ball to chance with their WRs but Jones had a good night so I won't speak on that too much now anyway)

I’ll be honest, when I saw him that open I never felt he was going to make that catch. He dropped the almost exact same pass against the Bengals last year.

But a better throw makes that an easier catch too. Jones was a touch long to Slayton, just like he was a touch long to Engram last year. Not saying they shouldn't catch these balls, but they aren't easy catches either.

Not a finger tip drop, just a bad drop.

Shoot, what about Golladay? Thrown at 8 times and only caught 3. That is a lot of money to be adding to the drop squad.

I was saying this all off season about him. I even showed with stats on why I what seeing. I received a lot blow back for it. Last year his catch percentage was 52.1 Danial Jones' s completion precentage was 62.5 This year so far . Slayton is 46.2% and Jones is 68.8% . There are no excuses . He cannot be 10 + points behind the QB and not see it as a problem. He wants a contract and be 6th round anomaly. Go earn it.

Between skipping OTAs, COVID and his injury issues, I don't think the coaching staff trusts him yet. Now it looks like he's venting on Instagram like a child.

And judge choose him because they got to meet in person and he could vet his character. Judge is looking more and more like a clown every day.

This is the NFL both of them should have been game winning catches....But obviously your agenda is to give Jones a backhanded compliment
