Remember Shockey yelling at Eli with his "get me the ball!" nonsense ?
Odell crying for the ball ...
Yes it happens all the time ... I get it...
But it needs to be nipped in the bud
Golladay yelling on the sideline ... Toney putting out tweets
It is all peaced up now I guarantee ... but there needs to be a line drawn in the sand behind closed doors where Jones plants his flag
Losing sucks for everyone
Crying for the ball gets you nowhere
What it gets you is a QB forcing the ball into spots to try to please a mans ego
Daniel needs to sit with his boys and set it straight ... now !
Knock it off

Didn't he already say he and Golloday spoke and everything is good now?

It’s not in Jones character. However, him being the quarterback and donning the C on his jersey. He should have put Golladay in his place. Want the ball? ******* catch it when it goes your way.

Didn't he already say he and Golloday spoke and everything is good now? Yes ... I'm sure it is all peace What I'm saying is he needs to make it clear that he is the general on the field and the ball will go to you when he feels it is the time for it to do so. I'm telling you ...if this type of stuff is not nipped in the bud ... and losing continues ... it is the type of thing that can destroy a team from the inside When a man in his second game with the team feels a comfort level to do that he will absolutely do it again ... especially if losing continues This cannot be handled by coaches ... it needs to be handled by the players involved If it has already then great ... but I have a feeling there was a conversation like "I'm sorry man ... emotions bla bla. bla" " I know ... it's all good" (hugs and pounds) that's not going to cut it

Didn't he already say he and Golloday spoke and everything is good now? Yeah they had a little calm down session. But Jones needs to end that conversation with a statement that makes it clear it can’t happen again. We don’t need our QB running therapy sessions for the WRs in his off time.

I'm not going to assume anything else if Jones said it was over. Eli had this going on with Shockey until year 4 and that worked out. Jones is in charge, I have no doubts about that.

Shep is killing it right now KG is starting to get in the mix Slayton also, EE will be back then there is Rudolph Smith Barkely, He will need to earn the trust of this QB buy being that guy that takes what he gets and making the most of it.

Want the ball? ******* catch it when it goes your way. could you imagine any of these receivers speaking to Simms this way? lol. How about Dan Fouts? Marino? We know there is some chirping with Brady which is short lived. How many would yell at Peyton? Go yell at John Elway, see how that goes. I’m sure no ex-Giants linebackers would put a receiver through a wall.

I don’t know, getting wide open as you’re being paid 17 million dollars a year and the QB ignoring you the whole game to dump it off…
Having multiple near picks and missing a guy over the middle in space?
Jones had ALL day to throw yesterday and we kicked 5 field goals.
Meanwhile a back up to the back up to the back up QB recognizes a TE on a CB in the back of the end zone and throws it up for a TD.
Yeah Jones recognizes blown coverages, but isn’t that the minimum for a QB in the NFL?

There were at least 2 plays he was wide open. Even Troy pointed the one out. And there were plenty of plays he was on one in one coverage. Galloway is a jump ball player, Danny didn’t target him once in the end zone or for a first down in those one vs one situations where Galloway had the height advantage.

Golladay was yelling at Garrett and Jones was already praised for how he addressed it.

Toney is a whole other story...he needs to pull his head out of his a**. As of now I feel like the wrong guy was drafted.
Jones made himself available far behind the season started but Toney was too busy getting diamond implants in his mouth.

Knock it off I agree. I assume Golladay was yelling something along the lines of 'stop hitting me in the hands with those passes' and Toney is about two full seasons of good production short of saying anything. Lastly, even WR whites that nonsense, and more often than not, they're flat wrong. Just like Golladay and Toney are.

Yeah Jones recognizes blown coverages, but isn’t that the minimum for a QB in the NFL? Golladay was neither consistently wide open nor ignored. He did drop an easy one or two. He can feel free to get himself a nice steaming cup of STFU while he works on his focus. It's early and he's in a new situation, he'll get there. Seems like maybe you didn't see the whole game, just the highlights. Jones did more than enough to win that game last night. He can't catch the ball for Golladay or Slayton and he doesn't play defense although I'm sure he wishes he could have been going against the Giants D last night.

I seen him take a step in the right direction yesterday. He played well enough to win that game yesterday. Some of his teammates not so much.

I disagree that the QB needs to put such players "in their place." Eli wasn't a player who would do that and last I checked, he was a heck of a leader.
Seems to me that fans often want the QB to assert their dominance over such players only because they (the fan) are angry with the player jawing at the QB. In reality, you still need to work with these folks and share a locker room with them, so a discussion with each side's concerns being heard seems to be the better approach.
Besides, maybe Golladay had a point? Maybe the best thing for Jones to do right now is to say, "Ya know what Kenny? You're right. My bad. I'll work on getting better at XYZ." Again, who knows what the actual complaint and context was, but it's worth considering.
