You were slightly optimistic, weren't you? I mean, there are Giants fans who think we're going to the Super Bowl every year, so they are always optimistic. But even the most pessimistic folks who knew we had problems at various spots were still slightly optimistic at the idea of Jones having another year under his belt, the offense having another year to gel, Saquon coming back, and the defense performing half-way decent down the stretch last year.
I'd go so far to say that we were the most optimistic we've been in ages during this past offseason.
And now the season is over on 9/26.
Where and how does this end?
I get that we don't have to win the super bowl, but can you keep it interesting for a couple of months? I don't think that's too much to ask. The season is over 14 DAYS after it started.
The Mara's and Tisch's, who enjoy better health care, housing, and access to policy makers than you and I could ever dream and who also pay less taxes than all of us, of should be ashamed of themselves.
