Jones entered Sunday with the second-highest completion percentage on throws of at least 15 air yards.
Sunday he put up the following numbers on passes traveling 15+ yards in the air. 8-of-11 229 yards 2 touchdowns 1 INT (hail mary)
Passes of 10+ yards Jones had 9 completions (#1 in the NFL week 4)
On pases of 20+ yards Jones was 2/5 with 2 TDs and the hail mary INT in there.
And I know everyone loves PFF but it was Next Gen Stats that named Jones the best deep ball passer in the league last year, even though he had less attempts down the field than the others on the list. If this OL keeps playing the way they are and Garrett keeps the aggressive play calling going then the sky is the limit.
I wish FBomb was around to comment but this is what some people saw in Jones coming out of college and boy is he showing the world right now.

I always prefer next generation These stats are elte level qb level.... This might be the first time maybe since High School that he had recievers that open and that good protection from his line...lord knows the games I watched or him at Duke he was hit every play throwing into insanely tight windows only to have a near 40% drop rate ...

Agree your down here his senior year they were on down here a lot the Clemson game Lawernce Pummeled him a coupe times he kept slinging it and hitting his WRs in the hands. That is what gave me hope that once they got him here he would have better WRs and OL around him so That had not happened till the last 7 or 8 games last year and much better thei year.

The protection is key to his success and the teams he has been kept pretty clean it has gotten better every week.
