Who is tradeable? And should we trade seeing that we are most likely looking at another losing season....

Who is tradeable? And should we trade seeing that we are most likely looking at another losing season.... As long as it’s not another Leonard Williams type trade. Gettleman stunned the world actually trading picks for a guy when your team was out.

Overpays him after first declining to give him a reasonable extension and franchising him after year one, and then signing him to a huge deal after year 2 that was way more than he could have gotten him for after year 1 🤷♂️

And who was going to be a free agent at the end of the season. Another brilliant Gettleman move. yeah, he was going to be a free agent at the end of the year. Instead, he was already on the team and played at an all-pro level the next season... for a 3rd rd pick. Who cares if the team was "out"? since when do you stop trying to get good players when the opportunity arises? Maybe it's just me, but i'm thinking when you don't do that, you just stay "out" even longer but of course, its so easy to just sign free agents as everybody here seems to think, so why have someone in house already who you can franchise and keep for another year at worst anyway and good to know we've also got contract experts here too who state with certainty what the contract should and could have been handed out given the circumstances, because of course they know all these circumstances- and can analyze them better- than even a bad GM mind boggling how nobody can't admit they were wrong with this. I guess everybody does indeed know better.

Maybe we should start trading away next years picks for guys who will become FA’s this year as well, I’m sure that’a great long term plan. Let’s trade away picks on mediocre upcoming FA’s, in hopes that they become better, so we can use our only franchise tag on them and then hand them a huge over inflated contract a year later and hope they continue to produce. That’s great for gamblers and draining the cap. Great, he played at an “All Pro” level for one year so far and that got us what? 6 wins. DG is an idiot and his record reflects that OR maybe you actually are on to something, he sucks so bad at drafting that the only way we can get potential game changers is by trading for them. You know what, I think I actually I agree with you.

Keeps the franchise in the dump though so there is some consistency..
