Geno Smith - outplaying Russell Wilson at the moment. Mike Glennon
We shouldn't draft and ruin a QB with a line we have now. Got to fix that part first. ...but might as well keep Jones the final year of his rookie contract. I think Jones has skills but hard to make them shine in this offense.

If you don't like any of the QBs in this year's draft then you sign a somewhat decent journeyman who could win you 6 - 8 games. Let him compete against Jones...If DJ continues to shiates the bed then the journeyman gets the starter's nod and you start looking hard at the QB class of 2023. In the meantime you build up your lines and fortify your skill positions. Then trade Jones for picks (before his rookie contract expires)
Assuming of course DG and JJ are not here next year..

Don't kick the can anymore We probably let all our FAs go...if anything with whatever spare change we can conjure up get more depth on the O line and just build the front 7 and O line in tbe draft Jones sinks or swims in 2022,if he sings a journeymen might win one or 2 more games that makes it impossible to trade up in 2023 for one of those qbs

If we move on from Jones the bridge would most likely be a FA. I hope we end this game of “need a QB, take the best one available with the highest draft pick”. After the Gettleman era of drafting we need the absolute highest percentage of successful picks possible, and teams that pick for need rarely achieve that. The pre drafts say that no QB will be drafted in the 1st rd. This is not the year to draft QB's. If anything we'd have to give up high draft capital to trade for a top QB starter. IMHO it would cost too much. Do we want to give up these #1 picks for a QB ? Not in a million years. This draft is pretty stacked for o line and edge rushers. I think this fan base may implode if we can’t pick a couple starters in both those areas.

I'm just about done with Daniel Jones. Waiting on him to become a consistent and good QB is like waiting for hell to freeze over. He will be a good backup QB in his next contract. I would trade him to a team like Denver, who loved him at the draft that year if they don't sign Aaron Rodgers. Russell Wilson would be a great get, but our cap situation is a mess thanks to Gettleman. I wouldn't mind drafting a new QB early and getting a stop gap guy to hold it down. Of course we would suck a little longer, but at least some sort of plan would be in place. Blow this shit up and start totally from scratch. On a final note, I know we like trashing the Jets, but I would take Carter and Elijah Moore over anyone on our offense not named K Toney. There OC Shurmur loved him here he had a lot of input on it.

As I said before stand pat on the plan to get the OL fixed and edge fixed with the draft capital we have, Those are to of biggest Pillars of winning football protecting the passer and rushing the passer after that if there is a nice project 4th round or down the Willis kid at liberty or as Legacy pointed Bo Nix and go from there, If Jones with better OL and Some defense that can win few looks good we still can either keep him or trade him, He should get the Mayfield treatment year 4 but no more unless he proves he can win and produce in big spots.

I wouldn't go for either Wilson or Rodgers thats just silly

Say an OG or C with the 2nd rd pick. Just generic thoughts without knowing any players.
