Good day gentlemen,
The pathetic state of affairs with the New York Giants have brought me back to the boards.
I was 50/50 on keeping Judge next year. I like the guy but not enough results. The lack of balls this season has really been a bit much for me to swallow. The Glazier report that he lost the lockerroom is a huge sway for me to want him fired. I am not for reporters giving these type of reports without names making the quotes but when it comes to the Giants and Jay - he aways has his finger on the pulse.
Another reason why I would have entertained Judge for one more year was because no coaching prospects enticed me. Harbough is a pipe dream, we have no shot and not sure I'd want him even if we could get him. Bienemy is going to be a flop, no interest there. Flores being fired from the Dolphins today though is a huge swing for me. I think hes a damn fine coach that could actually help us get in the right direction.
Also, I am 50/50 on DJ. He shows signs and he typically tries to do too much and gets murdered for it. Nobody could have performed behind that line. Its been the same problem for the last decade and Eli had to deal with it too. I think at this point we have to keep DJ though because this draft is soft, we're not going to attract any big name QB. Some of you will say Wilson but this team is FAR away from being competitive so sending a ton of assets for an aged QB would be completely counter productive.
The reason I'm even mentioning DJ is because I think the reason Flores got canned was because he was a Tua guy. Maybe theres a way to get Tua on the cheap. Not sure if I am a Tua guy but it seems like Miami's moves are based on an organizational shift to go get DeShaun Watson.

You have a valid point in Miami pursuing Watson and giving up on Tua. Could be a reason to hire Flores. Other than another long time Patriots coach that coached along Judges.
One of several mistakes by Gettlemen. He should have left Manning play another year, then draft Herbert. The team wanted Herbert, until he opt for another year at Oregon. Then chose Jones. Jones could be a decent qb with a much better line.

apparently Judge is staying....yikes I didn't see a quote coming from ownership on that? They are probably going to handle GM first.

Would love Flores. He's everything I hoped Judge would be but isn't.

Judge is staying per Josina Anderson. All due respect to Ms. Anderson, but I'm going to need to hear that level of horrible news straight from the horse's mouth.

Regardless of rumours on Judge, why would Flores come here?
Why not LV or Min or Denver or Chicago even
Every one of those places has multiple advantages to coaching here.
Whatever great HC candidate is available, they’re not coming here.
It’s not a good job right now when most only get one jump at the brass ring.

I think we are on par with them Only thing I got is maybe a package with Tua if he likes it is possible.

why isn't mara flying in Harbaugh to NY right now? Lol. Judge is going nowhere. Abrams will be GM. This is obvious from today's events. As long as the Mara's are making these decisions that's what you can expect.

I'm sorry, but Flores being unemployed and Judge still having a job reeks of the NFL's diversity issues.
Can someone explain to me how a guy loses to 3 coaches that were fired and he keeps his job? HOW....HOW????
Yeah, the NFL is as fair and balanced as Fox news

Miami wins 8 of their last 9 games and challenges for a playoff spot. Then they fire Flores. Wow. Seems like they did him a favor.

The Flores thing is so confusing...looked to me like he was building something so that was a stupid move by the Dolphins but then again that is exactly what Bad Organization does. Somebody will be taking over an extremely young talented team, it is BS that he won't be able to finish what he started
as for Hiring him here, I wouldn't mind it but honestly I'm not sure about any of these coaches from Bellichek Coaching Tree

I WANT FLORES...... I WANT FLORES...... I WANT FLORES...... Som smart team is gonna grab him fast. Exactly exactly because Stevie Wonder a blind person could see that sometimes a firing isn't because a guy isn't good it may have beat his I heard something about he was going to and wanted to make changes on the staff that the upper did not agree with her so I don't know what you know I don't know it's kind of crazy and weird but I know anybody smart would grab him up fast like you just said and I bet that will happen
