I'll do my first mock this week win or lose.... Nice quarter of the way where I can go on trends ....and if we are 3 and 1 could be interesting going into a draft out of range of the qbs If we miss out on the big rush of QBs, I see us going WR, maybe IOL or CB, while rocking with Tyrod as our 2023 Qb m Same We still have 14 games to see what Jones does as well...he could be a major factor for this offense way overachieving their talent level as well in which case you almost have to franchise him and really build around him (again)with an elite weapon and more interior O line help

Ok gang First quarter of season gone....we are surprisingly 3-1. But we have some horrible flaws very apparent that we need to fix...
So I tried a way too early mock offseason and my explanation for why I did such things .
Salary Cap: $208,200,000 Player Salaries: $151,020,123 Dead Money: $110,000 Carryover: $5,250,000 Reserved for Draft Picks: $5,000,000 Cap Space Remaining: $57,319,877 ROSTER MOVES Signed Players: Daniel Jones - QB ($12,750,000)
Yes I brought back Jones.. this was a 3 year 45 million dollar type deal with 50% guarenteed..ignore the number the first year is 20million all guaranteed so it's actually a 1 year 20 million deal that can either be very easily deleted or ripped up and made legit ..
Richie James - WR ($2,000,000)
This is a 2 year 4 million dollar deal As you can see below I found a sucker in Chicago to take Golladay off our hands and give us a 4th So our WR depth before doing this is Toney (a huge ?) Robinson Colin Johnson (let's see how he is post ACL) currently our most dependable WR we need him back.
Cut Players: Carter Coughlin - LB T.J. Brunson - LB Elerson Smith - EDGE Restructured Players: Transition Tagged:
Franchise Tagged: Saquon Barkley - RB Yeah I brought him back for a year..we still need weapons and proven Players. And minus Golladay and the above cuts we have gobs of cash
The FA center list looks bleak and I'll wait to see what our corners do later
So 13: R1 P13 WR Jordan Addison - USC
Being we will be picking probably around here even without a trade back we miss out on Levis,Young and Stroud..
I'm taking this dynamic playmaker ....yeah I know another smaller type..**** size,Belitnikof winner..elite route running,speed,,Yac.Yachats.. also makes Toney expendable...this is a Dabol/Kafka playmaker
40: R2 P9 RB Jahmyr Gibbs - Alabama
The heir apparent to Barkley...A threat to score every time he has the ball...my kind of back.
44: R2 P13 CB Garrett Williams - Syracuse
BPA.. dunno much about him other than he probably will fit a need one way or another back there.
72: R3 P9 C Jarrett Patterson - Notre Dame
He will ultimately be a top 50 pick..I get my possible starting C at 72.
106: R4 P4 QB Sam Hartman - Wake Forest
This guy looks like a legit QB...this far down in the draft it's a no brainer. Even though I resigned Jones he still as of now is a ? And still can't stay healthy.. At worst I obtained a potential high end backup on a rookie deal
111: R4 P9 WR Zay Flowers - Boston College
**** size.. another Daboll/Kafka type playmaker..
144: R5 P9 TE Jaheim Bell - South Carolina
We probably need to invest more at this position..BPA
171: R5 P36 RB Kenny McIntosh - Georgia
BPA.. 224: R7 P9 S Ronnie Hickman - Ohio State
BPA. 241: R7 P26 CB Noah Daniels - TCU
BPA 254: R7 P39 TE Cade Stover - Ohio State
BPA
TRADES Trade Partner: Las Vegas Raiders

Whenever feasible my drafting strategy each year would be to go into every draft with 4 picks in the first 2 rounds.

So some fun with us solidly in the playoffs.. Have never drafted this far back without a trade back before..
Definitely different
FWIW Signed Jones to an extension, franchised Barkley, extended Love and Lawrence.. Signed Roquon Smith as my one big outside get for MLB...
24: R1 P24 WR Marvin Mims - Oklahoma
No IOL here near BPA....in dire need of dynamic playmakers,I'm thinking with Toney a ? drafting over him and get a similar type player that's a perfect fit for this offense..
56: R2 P25 C Sedrick Van Pran - Georgia
BPA fits a huge need
88: R3 P25 DL Mekhi Garner - LSU
Get some more beef on the line and make this a force
127: R4 P25 CB Nehemiah Pritchett - Auburn
Depth here
160: R5 P25 OT Nick Broeker - Ole Miss
Depth ,can't ever have enough good o linemen
171: R5 P36 LB Amari Gainer - Florida State
Throw another young body here
239: R7 P24 WR Jalen Moreno-Cropper - Fresno State
Still need talent here
240: R7 P25 QB Spencer Rattler - South Carolina
This is a "why not" type stab at a player that at one point looked to be a Heisman candidate.Catch lightning in a bottle developmental type qb to possibly groom to be Jones back up
254: R7 P39 TE Brevyn Spann-Ford - Minnesota
Still need help here

First post Toney trade mock
I'm assuming we keep Jones,Barkley, resign love and extend Dex(his deal wouldn't kick in till 2024)
Hint I'm looking to rebuild our WR group this draft
Assuming we cut the cap albatross our WR group going into March 2023 looks like Robinson Colin Johnson Maybe that new guy we just picked up
We need more dynamic speed
29: R1 P29 WR Jalin Hyatt - Tennessee
Traded back because I saw this guy early 2nd round.....he is having an insane year, remember he was doing all of this without their "#1" Tillman for a while This is the dynamic playmaker that will scars defenses..
52: R2 P21 LB Jack Campbell - Iowa
Sideline to sideline guy...not bad in coverage but a great blitzer.Blitzer..
61: R2 P30 CB Tony Grimes - North Carolina
Not familiar but we can use depth here always and he was BPA
84: R3 P21 C Sedrick Van Pran - Georgia
This is a need...strange none of these C prospects are ranked very high yet all of these guys look like NFL starters
101: R3 P38 G Layden Robinson - Texas A&M
BPA,more youth inside..
123: R4 P21 WR Zay Flowers - Boston College
Like I said I'm going to rebuild this unit completely this year in the draft with dynamic playmakers
156: R5 P21 LB Jeremy Banks - Tennessee
More LB depth
171: R5 P36 TE Brenton Strange - Penn State
Watched a little of him...another strong blocker type that has reciever upside When building a modern offense I'd rather have great blockers that can move chains than "matchup nightmares" that cause drama in our backfield because they can't block
205: R6 P30 CB Cam Hart - Notre Dame
More corner depth
236: R7 P21 WR Dontay Demus Jr. - Maryland
How is this guy this far back, Thank you...another dynamic speedster
240: R7 P25 C Alex Forsyth - Oregon
Why not.
254: R7 P39 OT Caleb Etienne - Oklahoma State
Why not (can't ever have enough young O linemen TRADES Trade Partner: Kansas City Chiefs

Who is the potential hot qb coming out in 2024? When do we get to draft Arch Manning ?? 2025 ?? Doubt it, he probably goes the full 4 years, following the lead of his uncles. He’d probably be the top prospect after 3 years, but its a Manning thing.. So, 2023 he’s a freshman, 2024 soph, 2025 junior, 2026 senior; then enters 2027 draft.
