OK here's another mock draft simulator: www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/mock-draft-simulatorThough I wouldn't recommend it. I like ones that have trades, but the trades in this one isn't remotely realistic. By the end of the draft I had 22 picks in this years draft and had acquired 42 picks in 2024; 18 of which were first round picks. As an example, I moved down 6 spots in the 6th round for 2024 picks as follows, 2 firsts, 2 fourths, a fifth and a seventh. This was using their more conservative trade settings.

thedraftnetwork.com/senior-bowl-2023-ol-primer/2023 Senior Bowl OL Primer light up the showcase event, the pool of offensive line prospects set to take the stage in Mobile for the Senior Bowl is an enticing one. We here at Draft Network will have you covered from every angle starting in a few weeks’ time live from the Senior Bowl. With less than a month until pads begin to crack during Senior Bowl practices, here is a deep dive into a talented group of tackles, guards, and centers to keep an eye on.... Jake Andrew's, Troy A four-year impact starter for the Trojans, Andrews is one of the top pure centers in the class. He’s allowed just six sacks in more than 1,600 reps in pass pro and has the chance to slot in right away for a team as an anchor along the front five. He’ll provide value for a team in need of fresh legs within the lungs of their line. Steve Avila, TCU I expect Avila to enjoy a ton of success at the Senior Bowl. A road grader in the ground game that is a brick wall to get around in pass pro, he has the chance to play for a decade in the NFL. I’m a big fan of his game Matthew Bergeron, Syracuse He’ll get work at both tackle and guard during the week, which should allow us to get a nice glimpse of where he could find his most success from Day 1. Length has been a knock of his, but he’s an extremely smooth mover at 6-foot-4 and 320 pounds. Nick Broeker, Ole Miss There wasn’t a single 1 or 3-tech to his side that was able to work past him this fall (zero sacks allowed). With excellent bend in his lower half and constantly active hands, he’s a tough player to beat within the interior. Expect his name to rise during Senior Bowl week

With less than a month until pads begin to crack during Senior Bowl practices, here is a deep dive into a talented group of linebackers to keep an eye on. Henry To’o To’o, Alabama Smart. Intelligent. Cerebral. All the adjectives fit how the former Tennessee transfer approaches the game at the second level. He won’t blow anyone away with his athletic intangibles, but he’s a surefire starter at the NFL level that gets after people in the run game. Sirvocea Dennis, Pittsburgh A three-year starter for the Panthers, Dennis is one of the best run defenders in the country. He’s as sure a tackler as there is in the class and will provide a physical presence within the lungs of a defense. Daiyan Henley, Washington State He’s got a ton of traits to like, but Henley remains one of the more interesting case studies in the class. He looks the part, but fine-tuning his ability when asked to trigger downhill will be huge for his stock. The Senior Bowl may not be bigger for anyone at the event thedraftnetwork.com/senior-bowl-2023-lb-primer/

We here at Draft Network will have you covered from every angle starting in a few weeks’ time live from the Senior Bowl. With less than a month until pads begin to crack during Senior Bowl practices, here is a deep dive into a loaded group of corners and safeties to keep an eye on Jakorian Bennett, Maryland One of the top pure cover corners you probably haven’t heard of, Bennett was fantastic this fall for the Terps. He didn’t allow a single touchdown as the primary man in coverage in 406 coverage snaps, allowed a minuscule 44.4% reception percentage when targeted, and had two picks and seven pass break-ups. He isn’t the biggest guy in the world at 5-foot-10, but his footwork and clean technique put him in a spot to succeed on the outside. Julius Brents, Kansas State I think Brents will rise significantly after a week in Mobile. One of the longer corners in the class with arms expected to tease 33.5 inches, Brents uses his pterodactyl-like length to disrupt timing on the perimeter. A transfer from Iowa that spent his final two years of college ball with the Wildcats, he’s got excellent ball skills and a frame that will impress when scouts see him live Julius Brants, Kansas State I think Brents will rise significantly after a week in Mobile. Chamarri Conner, Virginia Tech A game-changer in the secondary, Conner has 10 touchdowns to his name as a guy that isn’t afraid to make plays at whatever alignment he finds himself at. A physical tackler as well, his willingness to stick his face in the mud will shine during team drills. He also offers some value on special teams. thedraftnetwork.com/senior-bowl-2023-cb-safety-primer/

Seeing quite a few mocks with DT Carter being the #1 pick overall. I don’t see him being a Suh type so really not buying his ceiling being higher than Will Andersson.

I always get a kick out of mock drafts.
So far, easily 90% of them have us taking a WR with our first pick.
Of course it’s easy to connect the dots. But there’s also a lot of discussion that the value for WRs in this draft is more easily found in later rounds.
I think BPA makes a tonne of sense for us this year. There’s very few positions we couldn’t use a 1st rd draft pick.

Something a little different, since CDN was mentioning how we are always taking WRs in the 1st this year. It was between Sander, Simpson, and Deonte Banks, but I'm leaning towards Sanders

My first through four Rounds
NYG - the force in the middle we’re looking for 25. Noah Sewell LB Oregon NYG 57.
Darnell Washington - at 6’6 this is another big target and he can kinda block TE Georgia NYG 89.
Byron Young - a load for depth and development DT Alabama NYG 102.
Ricky Stromberg - larger center for depth and reps as a rookie OC Arkansas NYG 128.
Mike Morris - another tall drink of water and power needed EDGE Michigan

Now I didn't go into this draft looking to take a RB anywhere before the 3rd round, but Bijan kept falling to me time after time, so I had to take a shot and see how it played out...
25: R1 P25 RB Bijan Robinson - Texas 57: R2 P26 WR Jalin Hyatt - Tennessee 89: R3 P26 C John Michael Schmitz - Minnesota 100: R3 P37 G Andrew Vorhees - USC 128: R4 P26 CB Mekhi Blackmon - USC 162: R5 P26. DL Zacch Pickens - South Carolina 209: R6 P32. LB Dee Winters - TCU 218: R6 P41 WR Andrei Iosivas - Princeton 242: R7 P23 CB Rejzohn Wright - Oregon 245: R7 P26 DL Nesta Jade Silvera - Arizona State 255: R7 P36 WR Joseph Ngata - Clemson
This might be my favorite haul this far in my 2023 mocks. We pretty much hit every area of need outside of Punter and a 2nd OG. Looking back, I think I'd go with Jakorian Bennett instead of Mekhi Blackmon, just because Bennett could play any DB spot, while Blackmon is a better cover cb. If we get Rezjohn Wright at the end that will "cover" us, Wink Wink
Still surprised he's not ranked higher

25. Zay Flowers WR Boston College NYG - Dynamic talent at WR. The FA class isn’t anything special. Getting someone like Flowers who is an x-factor at the WR position would bring another dynamic to the offense.
57. Calijah Kancey DT Pittsburgh NYG - Would be an excellent weapon for Wink on the defensive side of the ball. Kancey would bring a new dynamic as a pass rusher and would be a matchup nightmare. Between Lawrence, Thibs, Leonard, and Kancey someone is getting a very favorable matchup. Add in Azeez and company, the front becomes a lot more dynamic.
89. Darius Rush CB South Carolina NYG - CB is an area that needs to be solidified. Adoree is a stud so getting someone with a ton of potential like Rush would be a home run
102.Ricky Stromberg OC Arkansas NYG - Instant upgrade at C but also has flexibility at OG if needed. Tons of experience in the SEC and is very good. He would be a great get for solidifying the OL
128. Isaiah McGuire EDGE Missouri NYG - edge depth who flashed the few times I watched him
162. Braeden Daniels OG Utah NYG - athletic OL who could be at the very least a solid depth piece inside on the OL
209. Puka Nacua WR BYU NYG - really fun weapon who was used in a lot of different ways. He could be someone who is used creatively by Kafka and add another dimension to the offense
218.Shaka Heyward LB Duke NYG - I think he’s flying under the radar and like everything I’ve seen and read on him. I think we address LB in FA too
242. Daniel Scott S California NYG - like LB, I think they address this area in FA. Scott is athletic and would be a good value pick. ST’s guy at the very least
245. Camren McDonald TE Florida State NYG - Can’t go wrong with TE depth
254.Evan Hull RB Northwestern NYG - underrated RB who I think is solid at a lot of things and not great at anything necessarily

Not a big fan of Rush, he seems like more of a zone cb than someone who Specializes in man coverage, which i feel like Wink prefers for his cbs. Don't really know much about the rest. The more I researched Calijah Kancey, the more I'm a fan. Dude would be sick on our DL with Dexy and LW, but at less than 290, I'm slightly concerned how he will fare going head up with 300lb-ers on the reg.
