Rice will be drafted in the second day of draft. Yea, I doubt he will make it past the 3rd round. If he was more consistent, he could have been a 1st rounder. Dude will make crazy acrobatic 1 handed catches with his body all contorted, yet he will drop a pass when he's uncovered and WIDE open... makes no sense

This will most likely be my mock in the contest.
Rd 1 Pick 25 CB Cam Smith South Carolina Reason: This a no brainer Mock . History suggests there is 30% probability that a corner will be picked with 25. South Carolina is #2 school CBs are drafted from just behind VT CB is a top need for us. Cam Smith is in our Wheelhouse at 25 This is a "the stars are aligned pick."
Round 2 Pick 57 WR Kayshon Boutte LSU Reason: WR was tied with DT for highest probability at 13% I took a leap of faith and went with the most need for pick 57 A field stretcher LSU is the #1 school WRs are drafted from. He is in our Wheelhouse at 57
Round 3 Pick 89 ILB Henry-To'o-To'o Alabama Reason: With pick 89 ILB had the highest probability at 17% The tide is #2 school LBs are drafted from just behind Georgia. He is in our Wheelhouse at 89 FYI: Bobby Okereke was also picked with 89.
Round 4 Pick 128 WR Trey Palmer Nebraska Reason: There is a 22% probability a WR will be taken with pick 128 Reason: WR is need for depth He can return Punts. He is 6'1 190 ( has the size) He is an LSU alumni. via Nebraska
Round 5 Pick 160 DT/Edge Colby Wooden Alburn Reason: DT and Edge had the highest probability both at 13% probability with pick 160. He is big 6"5 284 He has played DT and DE Auburn is the #4 school DTs are selected from just behind Alabama, LSU and Georgia A good depth pick up. Fills 2 needs with one pick.
Round 5 Pick 172 Strong Safety Ronnie Hickman Ohio State Reason: There is a 22% probability a safety will be taken with pick 172. OSU is # 1 school that safeties are drafted from. He is a thumper. He has good hands and can cover. Another plus: He is a local kid South Orange NJ
Round 6 Pick 209 OL Kendall Randolph Alabama Reason: There is a 30% probability OL will be taken with pick 209 The Swiss Army Knife He can play OT, OG and TE A 298lb TE for the run game. A replacement for Gates.
Round 7 Pick 240 RB Hunter Luepke North Dakota-State Reason: There is a 22% probability that a RB will be taken with pick 240 He can block in pass protection.
Round 7 Pick 243 Strong Safety Brandon Hill Pitt Reason: There is a 22% probability a safety will be taken with pick 243 This kid is a preputial tackler and can cover. He would add valued to the depth of the rotation.
Round 7 Pick 254 TE Marshon Ford Louisville There is a 22% probability a TE will be taken with pick 254. He is big body 6'2 240. He can catch the ball and move it down field.

Much easier draft when the Giants pick high. The Jets are in a prime position through two Rounds.

I sincerely appreciate the effort put forth to put the contest together as well as admire those who do the plethora of predictions required for the contest. I however don’t have the time or the fortitude to complete all the different scenarios. Here are my Crystal Ball picks - FWIW
1 Quentin Johnson WR TCU 2 Bryan Bresse DL Clemson ( hoping and have fingers crossed this guy drops to the second round because of his injury history, but he is wall-to-wall stud) 3 Darius Rush CB South Carolina 4 Olu Oluwatimi C Michigan 5 Charlie Jones WR Purdue 5 Mohamed Imbrahim RB Minnesota 6 Isiah Lamb LB/ Edge Florida A& M 7 Jake Moody K Michigan 7 Jaylen Thomas OG SMU 7 Doug Nester OG West Virginia

Great effort on your part. Some good pieces. Not keen on Henry T from Bama. Living in Bama and SEC country I saw almost every game the guy played at Tennessee and every game at Bama. He was more impressive at Tennessee. I was excited when Bama got him - my second favorite team after Michigan. Henry at Bama was very ordinary more often than not. He doesn’t come close to matching the level of the Top Tier LB stars drafted by Bama. Maybe it was the scheme. At Tennessee it was like there were 2 of him on the field every play at Bama that wasn’t the case. I’d also pass on the Auburn kid. Hickman ehh Randolph however - good spot 👍

25: R1 P25 WR Zay Flowers - Boston College - Most dynamic WR we would have on the roaster since OBJ/Cruz/Nicks. Smaller guy but plays bigger than his size. He can play all over the field and is a blur after the catch.
57: R2 P26 LB Drew Sanders - Arkansas - versatile LB who could maybe bring a Micah Parsons-lite type of element to the defense. A lot of potential as a traditional LB but also has shown the ability to really make an impact at edge. I think Wink would love a Swiss Army knife like this. If he falls to us in the 2nd, it’s hard to not pull the trigger
89: R3 P26 CB Julius Brents - Kansas State- Long CB with good athleticism. I could see someone loving him and going in the 1st even. Brents would be a great option at any point day 2
128: R4 P26 S Marte Mapu - Sacramento State- Small school S/LB blend. S is a very underrated need on the team with Belton being kind of an unknown. Marte, like Sanders, would bring versatility and a new weapon for Wink to utilize
160: R5 P25 EDGE YaYa Diaby - Louisville - can play edge and can play inside as well. Has a lot of raw talent that can be refined as well. Plays very hard and always seems to make an impact even if it is from just pure effort.
172: R5 P37 G McClendon Curtis - Chattanooga - Interior OL still has question marks. I like Curtis as a small school sleeper option. Depth at the very least
209: R6 P32 C Jarrett Patterson - Notre Dame- Pretty deep C class will have some guys sliding into positions when they are value picks. Patterson is a solid option although I would like to address C earlier, ideally.
240: R7 P23 TE Josh Whyle - Cincinnati - I think he is someone sliding under the radar especially with it being a very deep TE class. Have him and Bellinger learning under someone like Waller would be great for their development
243: R7 P26 Desjuan Johnson - Toledo - smaller DL who brings athleticism and has a very good burst. Can add some pass rushing ability from the interior. Learning from Dex and Leo would be great for someone with a lot of raw talent.
254: R7 P37 WR Matt Landers - Arkansas - tall WR with really good speed. Could be a STs option if nothing else. Having someone who can stretch the field is much needed for this team

Patterson is a solid option although I would like to address C earlier, ideally. 240: R7 P23 TE Josh Whyle - Cincinnati - I think he is someone sliding under the radar especially with it being a very deep TE class. Have him and Bellinger learning under someone like Waller would be great for their development 243: R7 P26 Desjuan Johnson - Toledo - smaller DL who brings athleticism and has a very good burst. Can add some pass rushing ability from the interior. Learning from Dex and Leo would be great for someone with a lot of raw talent. 254: R7 P37 WR Matt Landers - Arkansas - tall WR with really good speed. Could be a STs option if nothing else. Having someone who can stretch the field is much needed for this team I like Flowers, Sanders and Diaby playmakers who could be later round steals if they are available, Sanders remind me of a more athletic Joey Bosa BIG fan of Sanders, probably my favorite LB in the draft, but I'm not sure if he is the right fit for us after getting Okekere. We might be better off waiting for an LB like Pace, Winters, or Dennis in the later rounds and use the 2nd on a more pressing need .....Sure is hard to pass on him though. A few weeks ago, before Okekere I would have taken him in the 1st

R1 P25 CB Deonte Banks - Maryland 57: R2 P26 WR Tyler Scott - Cincinnati 89: R3 P26 S Sydney Brown - Illinois 128: R4 P26 RB Tank Bigsby - Auburn 160: R5 P25 C Ricky Stromberg - Arkansas 172: R5 P37 WR Jayden Reed - Michigan State 209: R6 P32 LB SirVocea Dennis - Pittsburgh 240: R7 P23 CB Rejzohn Wright - Oregon 243: R7 P26 G Jon Gaines II - UCLA 254: R7 P37 DL Nesta Jade Silvera - Arizona State I like your mock. Had Reed and Bigsby in mine. Bigsby is gonna make it in the NFL IMO. I took Bigsby out because he’s not to great at pass pro + I’ve watched him a few years - I took Reed out because he has the dropsies a bit to often. I wouldn’t be bummed if we took them both but I replaced Bigsby with Ibriham and Reed with Mr. Sticky fingers Charlie Jones. Stromberg is also a good call.

Big fan of Bigsby, probably my 3rd favorite RB after Bijan and Charbonnet. Reed has alot of promise and talent, but needs to get better getting up and going after the ball. Can't say I'm too familiar with Charlie Jones

25: R1 P25 WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba - Ohio State - Best WR 57: R2 P26 CB Julius Brents - Kansas State - Fast and long. 89: R3 P26 LB Daiyan Henley - Washington St - Finally got a chase and cover guy at this position 128: R4 P26 OT Asim Richards - North Carolina - Tackle and Guard versatility. Shoen and Daboll likes these types. Can take over at Right tackle if Neal doesn't get better. 160: R5 P25 RB Tank Bigsby - Auburn -Big and fast. 172: R5 P37 OT Tyler Steen - Alabama -tackle and guard versatility. Has LT experience. 209: R6 P32 S Gervarrius Owens - Houston - Good at reading and recognizing. Needs to stop missing tackles. 240: R7 P23 C Jovaughn Gwyn - South Carolina - Played guard in college but projects at center in the NFL. Project and decent run blocking skills. Competition. Kept leaving center for the next round and this is the best I can do at center. 243: R7 P26 EDGE Eku Leota - Auburn -Poor man's Jihad Ward. Can anchor and protect edges. Good run defender. 254: R7 P37 CB Carrington Valentine - Kentucky - why not have another cb.

Can catch runs tough and has enough speed to run away from defenders. He was in the Heisman talk a couple of years back. He’s ranked pretty low for his talent level. I must be missing something regarding bad interviews or an injury history because he’s a tough and talented back. Don’t feel alone about Jones. Not sure many outside the Big 10 are very familiar with him. He gets open - fearless - catches in traffic - sticky hands. Walker - Edelman type. He’d be a productive target for Jones in the 4th or 5th. So Patriots will probably take him in the 3rd 🙃

Thinking Michael Mayer fits in Dallas 🥃🥃🥃🥃 Interesting that both Peter King and Albert Breer had the Giants taking Michael Mayer in the draft they put out today. I could be ok with this depending on how the board falls. Would probably not be happy with King's scenario though - he had the Giants taking Mayer with Joey Porter Jr. still on the board.
