My take is when Jones was asked he brought the game home he and Barkely. That said he needs to eliminate the silly turn overs down in RZ the fumble was not on him. I think Daboll holding him accountable might really do wonders for his game he's gonna get corrected the minute he comes off the field I like accoutability hopefully this offense grows as the season goes on. they trampled the #2 run defense last year today.

Good stuff from Jones here. We have to give him his due when he does good things IMO, not shrug them off. to DJs credit that was a beautiful ball

He was very pedestrian. He was inconsistent and turned the ball over twice, which are the reasons why he didn't get his 5th year option picked up. Saying all that, I'm just happy that we won. Jones better step up though. Pick was on him the fumble he had 0 chance kind of wierd Daboll had an OL rotation with Azeudu and Bredeson.

My thoughts he can be very good with a clean pocket for 2 seconds, but gets to be a scattered mess with pressure.
He will keep getting pressure.

He had 4 incomplete passes...how is that a scattered mess when pressured? Which he was, significantly, all game. I'm all for criticizing the guy when warranted...but that just doesn't make sense.

He was horrible. This team needs a new QB and we're set. Try opening your eyes the next time you watch a game.

Easily his worst play of the day. He was rightfully reamed for this one.

Because sacks don’t count as incompletions I guess. He doesn’t navigate well and create when the play breaks down. What’s a play where he did that today? I’d love to reconsider.

So we don't mistake you for a troll; tell us why you think DJ was terrible today and what makes you think we are just a QB away.

A good coaching moment. Nothing more or less It was good to see. That was a very, very bad decision by Jones and it was good to see Daboll say something in game...not sure why!

I thought he was mediocre, sans the pass to Shep and ignoring the brutal INT.
That being said, he got it done with his feet and the coaches weaponized them when needed.
He also had a brutal day from his interior line.
He is not a franchise QB and I still think this is his last year here. But if he can get SOME protection, i think we'll be in many many games.

Because sacks don’t count as incompletions I guess. If he was a complete mess under pressure he wouldn't have only 4 incomplete passes. You guys are stretching so hard...it's weird. Poor Joe Burrow today...his first half that's what being overwhelmed by pressure looks like. And you know what, he's still an elite QB and better than Daniel Jones and many others. Even if he had the worst offensive performance in NFL history today for a QB.

I did not even notice that our LG got leveled before that DJ pass to Shep. Looked like the Titan almost tripped over our LG.

The fact that he can throw a 3 yard pass that gets blown up after completion isn’t exactly impressive to me. I want a quarterback that can stare down pressure and convert third downs. I haven’t looked. How did he do on those? He get close to 40%? I’d be shocked.

Nailed it.
Time to move on unless you're a Pat Leonard.

Upon looking at this play several times, there really was nothing that Jones could have done in this situation. I said otherwise in the GameDay thread and will own that error in judgment.

The Giants and Titans were both around 20 percent on 3rd down today, if that helps you. Like I said, Joe Burrow was under pressure all day today and completely folded. It was understandable. He's still good though. But why would that ever stop anyone from keep their game to game expectations grounded in any sort of reality?

Brady just got sacked for the second time on 3rd down. He was on the 4 yard line. I just do not know if he has what it takes for you.

So we’re just making up stats now? QBR is from 0-100. No what was displayed on the Giants post game report. I made a mistake 115.9 That's his passer rating, which goes up to 158.3. Now QBR which you referenced only goes up to 100: A QBR of 100 means he had a perfect game. A QBR of 75 means he had a pro bowl caliber game. A QBR of 50 means he had an average game. Daniel Jones QBR is 25.8. Currently 24th best in the league.
