Don't resign Judge, will cost too much and we can't win with this setup anyway. Of course fire cashman and Boone (aka Gettleman and judge.) Make 2023 a mini-rebuild season.
Who's with me on this?

I won't be terribly surprised if Boone is fired, but I see no chance that Cash goes. His last name may as well be Steinbrenner...

If Cashman doesn't get fired I may take the year off.
Just heard a potential landing spot for Judge....
The Dodgers. And they would move Mookie to the infield.

I would start off by dumping the whole analytics department and their puppets (Boone and the Boy Blunder aka Brian Cashman).
I would then try desperately to find takers for both Donaldson and Stanton.
I would try to bring Judge back, but I think that he is burned out by the media and this fanbase. I don't think that he has forgotten those boos from the fans earlier in the year because of his turned down contract offer.
I'm with Dogecoin. Get some new people in the chain of command and change their identity in a rebuild. Their strategy of home run or bust is 🗑.

I would consider keeping Benintendi around longer. And definitely Rizzo.
Hicks and Donaldson are sunken costs. Eat it.
Benintendi - Bader - Cabrera IKF - Peraza/Volpe - Torres - Rizzo Trevino (Austin Wells?) DH Stanton
Cole Rodon Cortez Severino Montas

We can start by spiking the water in Houston’s clubhouse. Might as well start paying rent, because they own us.

FIRE CASHMAN NOW

Like I said, if they dont, Im probably not going to give one shit next year. The regular season is completely unimportant to me now. I expect them to win the division with the payroll. "Spoiled", sure. All I care about is them winning in October. I thought his moves at the trade deadline were atrocious, for a team that had a good shot. He is a terrible GM. 1 pennant in 19 years with him and the nearly unlimited wallet to spend. Its been a terrible job. I wouldn't say "Gettleman terrible" because at least the Yankees produced in the regular season, but he certainly has been awful at attempting to build a playoff team that can have success. And the cherry on top, most likely, will be Judge wearing a different uniform, and all that pressure going right on Stantons shoulders and his massive contract. Step 1, Fire Cashman....

It’s going to take a hell lot more to get rid of Teflon Cashman. If George was still running the team, he would have been on a one way ticket to the moon. Hal is nothing like his father, and doesn’t seem to be an owner who wants to shake things up. This team has to figure out how to beat Houston. And this feast or famine approach may get asses in the seats, but we fizzle out in the playoffs.

Yet he's the decision maker that can't be fired. wrt Cashman, this is a super easy decision since his contract is up. don't give him a new contract and let the new GM figure out what to do with Boone....super easy call

“Judge is at the top of the Giants list and they won’t be (out)bid,” the person said. “If they miss out, it won’t be because of money.”
The person added that the Giants planned to entice Judge further by signing at least two-high priced free agents. "The Giants are not going to stop with Judge,” the person said. “They have so much money freed up.”
“They need a draw with the Dodgers and Padres in their division spending big money on big names,” the person said. “I know the Giants also are feeling pressure with the Warriors’ basketball team doing so well and spending big in the same market.”
Someone quick, go look at who the Yankees open the season with in 2023...

It's also why imo he only offered glowing words of praise for Barry Bonds, when asked about the legitimacy of his single season HR record

We've been talking about it being the Giants all season long. They are the leaders in the clubhouse. He grew up a fan of theirs and lived about an hour away from their ballpark.

Looks like nothing that needs to be changed will be changed.
Therefore, it's hard to see how things will be different next season.
We have watched Tampa Bay, Boston, and Houston celebrate after ending our season on our home field too many times.
Doing the same thing and expecting a different result... One of the definitions of insanity I've heard said. I feel like I'm going crazy hoping this team accomplishes something they've shown an inability to do.

gotta be f#&@*E#^ kidding me. Even the wording bugs me "I believe he is a very good manager ... "
No facts to back it up, just a matter of challenging the owners "beliefs" if you dare to ask any questions. Probably means that jack ass Cashman is too

Mariano Rivera would fire Aaron Boone as Yankees manager The GOAT has chosen a goat for the Yankees’ postseason struggles. Mariano Rivera said that if he were the decision-maker, Aaron Boone would not return as manager of the Bombers next season. “If I’m the owner, Aaron Boone wouldn’t stay,” Rivera said Wednesday at the Sports Forum of the Panamanian Association of Business Executives. “When things don’t come out the way we want them to all of the fault goes on the manager and somebody has to pay the price and we won’t put that on the players…” nypost.com/2022/10/26/mariano-rivera-wouldnt-keep-aaron-boone-as-yankees-manager/

Of course it didn’t work.. that shit may work in little league. It helps to have Manny Ramirez and David Ortiz in the middle of your lineup. What a weak ass tactic. And to think, someone got paid to think of that.

Chad Bohling needs to be fired. I said it before. Even before this travesty of sending that "hype video".
This team was/is mentally weak, so I don't know what this clown's idea of "mental conditioning" might be or what his credentials are and I don't' want to know. All I want to read is he has been let go.
Why doesn't he go be the 'director of mental conditioning' for Boston or Houston or Tampa instead. Hell, let him go use his mental conditioning BS for Dallas or Philthy in the NFL. Do us all a favor after this complete failure.

I know I am. Such a shame. Im not abandoning them, but I feel like I will take a big break. Ill probably keep up with the minors though and the "kids". Probably just to watch Cashman trade them for his "MAKE 2023 BIG" year. A GM knowing he is in his last year if he doesnt do well is dangerous to an organization, as we saw with Gettleman.

Phillies through 5 innings with 5 runs so far have more than half as many runs as Yankees had (9 total) in 4 games against Houston. We can't compete with these teams.
