Iβve watched every game Sanders has played this season. Heβs impressive! I've watched some of most of their games this season and he does look good. I'd probably take him vs the field, maybe. But then again I've only seen some of the games of Williams and maybe Maye and some highlights of Penix and Nix. Penix looks really good when he's playing, but he's had a god-awful injury history, knees and shoulder, not a good mix.

I have watched Williams last 2 games they had a stat on tonights broadcast. 5games against top 25 teams he is terrible 200 yards a game and more picks than TDs. The other 76 games against lesser opponents he is smoking . I watch him he is an impressive athlete with gun for an arm but he holds the ball way too long and ends up way off target.
Think the breaks need to be pumped on this kid he might turn out great if who ever drafts him deals with him the way the Bills worked with Josh Allen and if he has the will to wrk his ass off to get his own shit together because he has work to do to make it in the NFL.
Saw a little of Maye tonight he was decent but the Cavs are not a good team and they kept him off the board when it matters na turned their 1-5 into 2-5 against against him with their 1st top 10 win in who knows how long think it was their first ever on the road.
Both these players have the physical talent and some pretty good traits but neither is generational Joe Burrow Pat Mahomes or Josh Allen.
The team that drafts them needs to have a solid plan and program in place to develop them.
Unfortunately the guy who seems to process the game best and has the pinpoint accuracy is Penix but he is already pocket pound probably do to his 2 ACLs plus some shoulder injuries.

Guess what heβs gonna see lots of at the next level? His diva side show alone takes him off my list. I like drake mayes moxy, and heβs only going to get better, a gamble non the less.

If I had to pick right now it would be Bo Nix of Oregon. He has the traits of a NFL player and plenty of college experience. Slides around in the pocket, goes through the progressions. Set up pre-snap protections, decent arm and good wheels.
Also would look at Cam Ward of Wash St. Dude has a cannon of an arm, accurate and extremely mobile. Similar to Penix Jr (Thnx to Jmike for the heads up)

ohhh wow yeah we don't need that lol............ its really a shame, he's a talented kid for sure. I'm thinking with our strength of schedule we lose position with teams with similar records as us so we'll be more of a top 5 team rather than top 2/3. I'd go Penix if the other two top QBs are gone. You have to give it a shot. If it fails, we'll be back at it in a few years after rookie contract is over. EDIT: if it's a toss-up in terms of talent, I'd be happy with Bo Nix too. Is he ranked ahead of Penix due to injury risk factored in?

what player came out of college with a worse injury history than Joe Namath? Injuries don't always mean a guy is a bad risk...

There are a few more who warrant consideration; 1) Bo Nix - He is like a hybrid of Justin Herbert and Josh Allen 2) Michael Penix Jr - Best deep ball in all of FBS 3) JJ McCarthy - Game Manager type but deadly accurate and throws deep 4) Sam Hartmann - Experienced and can make all the throws Its a deep QB class where if things are trending where I think they will we will be choosing from one of these in the first round didn't NIx and Penix go head to head yesterday? How did each fare? Both looked good

Marvin Harrison Jr. Caleb's dad doesn't want his son playing for a bad franchise because he always got to choose the team he got to play for. He reached out to Archie Manning and others about what to do and is threatening to stay out of the draft saying he can make more $$$ playing college ball. He think's getting drafted to the wrong organization can ruin a player's career. He called the draft process "backwards...and better to sit out than be a #1 pick"...so I'm doubtful about Celeb. Both QBs look good, Celeb has more mobility...Maye looks like a pocket passer though...wouldn't want to see him get David Carr'ed or Jones'ed. Guess the Giants would be out in that case.

A couple months ago this was supposed to a be a red hot QB class, now ?s everywhere. Sounds like a typical draft season

Calamity Williams fumbles again, this time 1 minute before the half...his 7th fumble of the year. Resulted in a Washington TD to take the lead.
Schoen and Brandon Brown are there to watch him fumble.

Caleb Williams and Micheal Penix showed up tonight I know Williams fumbled but he has lifted a bad USC roster I think that there is risk with every QB at the top of this class.
That said I think if any one of them gets drafted into the right situation and is raised right with a good plan on getting them good play makers decent to good protection and most important a QB friendly plan that will help them grow into the player their Traits say they should be.

I'm starting to lean more towards Maye.
Caleb's thoughts on losing, "I want to cuddle my dog and watch Netflix." Heard he also wants ownership equity in the team that drafts him.

They are both fantastic prospects. Williams reminds me of Mahomes and Maye reminds me of Herbert with a little bit of Rothlesburger.
Would be thrilled if we drafted either of them.

Heard he also wants ownership equity in the team that drafts him. There's no way that can happen, right? That essentially takes him completely out of any potential free agency and creates a massive conflict of interest.
