Some respectable Line Help at a good Price Nice! Was hoping they would be able to sign him. Still one hole in the oline which could be fixed in the draft.

Hell yeah and now the team can select the best player on their chart in the draft. Still need a safety and WR with the first three picks. Figure a QB is in play at #6 is real.

okay so, starting to gain some faith in Joe AT LEAST he knows how to start building the team.. fix the trenches, worry about cute positions like HB and S when you have the basics of a football team ironed out.. Still want some big guys on both sides of the ball. focus on sexy positions in the draft. Need playmakers esp if they're running it back with DJ.. sigh..

Good thing the pearl clutchers were calling for Schoen to be fired and proclaiming 2024 an 0-17 season… 30 mins into the legal tampering period.
No overreacting…nah.

Well to be fair, he had 30 minutes to fix all the problems with this team and stay under the cap and prevent other NFC East teams from improving and he couldn't manage it. How patient do you expect people to be with all that time passed already?

Finished the Day Strong I was nervous Yes! It was not Onwenu, Hunt but definitely 2 O-line upgrades for very reasonable pricing. Jermaine knows the O-line coach so this will be nothing but a big help to Runyan coming in and the remaining players on the squad. I wanted 2 proven STARTING guards this free agency period with 1 of the 2 perhaps being able to play G or OT. I think they've done just that. Dream signings would have been both Hunt and Onwenu but obviously the market made that cost prohibitive and no way do we grab Singletary and make the Burns trade if they sunk everything into O-line or just 1 of those 2 big names. I am going to miss Saquon but felt it was inevitable. The sting is worse since he went to the Eagles but leaving was just the likeliest scenario when the Giants didn't tag him. Look at it this way Micah, Okereke, Thibs, Burns, Dex + new DT or Roches/Robinson comes back vs an aging Eagles O-line and Saquon without Kelce as the anchor. My money is on the giants front 7. I think X-man will be missed as well but Bowen had some say in the safety situation and how it'll be handled for sure so need to trust that. Bowen is a proven successful defensive coordinator.

Crippling your cap on two players and thus creating a tight window of opportunity is not “dream signings.” It’s like Ground Hog’s day this time every year.

Admittedly I was on the Hunt and/or Onwenu trains but it just was impossible due to the cost. I think they did very well this free agency period and I do think they can still grab CB Darius Williams who came in for a visit already for a fair price. Maybe Boston Scott too who was in reports as a target for the Giants. We'll see on that. They obviously are close to done with the larger moves after today even if we're still only on the unofficial day 1 of free agency. Unless Daniel's cap # magically disappears somehow they've done pretty much all they can do considering their cap #.

It just went from a good day, to an all-time day in Giant's free agency history.

Schoen has finished the day strong as trading for Burns more than replaced William's. Has upgraded OL with a started in Jermaine.
On defense, Giants still needs a LB,S,and two CB's if Robinson still can't play next season.

So stayed with Pats. Never really was available probably. Pats likely would have matched whatever anyone offered is my guess.

Giants need starters. He finally got two. Four. But who's counting? I like staters who are all around players. Runyan is weak against the run. That's not good. Singletary is limited as well. As both he and Barkley are not what you want on the field in short yardage situations. Hopefully the Giants draft two players that are better than both or sign some better free agents.

If you're talking about Leonard Williams, him and Burns play different positions. That's like saying signing Runyan solved our QB issue

Bullshit. You're in love with Daniel Jones who is the epitome of the exact opposite. Why do you waste your time? Because it's a joyous day for Giants fans... and Schoen. I want to kick the teeth in of the 49ers/Eagles fan who has been shitting on the lord and savior Joe Schoen for a long time. Probably a good idea to remind Miggs that he called Schoen "the biggest idiot to trade Toney for a 3rd round pick because Toney is going to become an All Pro with KC."
