And you know this....how? because DG made it clear none of these QB were worth the #2. It was Barkley or trade down. Unless he wanted Mayfield this whole time, which I doubt. He made it clear that it was Barkley or trade down? When did he do that?

You are making a point with 2 scenarios and one of which does not exist. That’s the entire point of my first post, which you quoted. If both scenarios A and B existed, with which do you think you can better evaluate a QB to play in the NFL ? Simple “A” or “B” answer. To me it is illogical and irrelevant to make a point or answer a question based upon a nonexistent parameter. The outcome is always speculation. I am more of a use what you have kind pf guy. What you suggested would have only have taken place in the event of an injury to the 2 in front of him. It was never going to happen. From day one of camp it was conveyed that Webb was not going to see the field last season.

Great NFL QB's can be effective for 15 years plus. great NFL RB's can be effective for 5 or so years. NFL QB's have the biggest impact on their team than any position in any sport. RB's are about near the bottom of the list of positions of impact. how can a position that touches the ball at least 15 times a game be considered a position of low impact

He made it clear that it was Barkley or trade down? When did he do that? When he drafted Barkley. Uh, well that takes care of the part before the “or” ... when did he make it clear that if Barkley was taken at one he would trade down rather than take a QB? Answer: He didn’t

Chubb was the obvious pick here. sorry. i take a dominant end over a back all day every day So would most GM's. Our GM has a weakness for RB's early. he picked the 6th best back in the draft last year with the 8th pick. he essentially drafted Danny Woodhead part 2 with that pick.

I have no problem with people just making **** up as long as you are clear that you are just making **** up.

Christian mcCaffreys rookie year was just as good as Woodhead’s career year.

See, was that so hard? That actually supports your position. Kudos. Hadn’t seen that ....
