Easily has to be the weapons on offense.
Barkley, ODB, Engram, SS, Latimer, Ellison.
Weapons across the board. I hope PS comes out with a killer instinct and has the offense trying to put teams away early. I want to see them score some TD in the pre-season and then absolutely demolish the Jaguars week 1. No more lethargic gameplay to start the season. Just watching how the offense came out of the gate the last 2 seasons was depressing. This year HAS to change.

Of course Barkley but I’m really looking forward to (hopefully) the improvements made to the LB corps.

I'm hoping Barkley makes me forget about Sam Darnold.

Agree with all replies so far.
I also hope there will be some sacking of opposing quarterbacks.

Just to watch a giants game that matters. Haven't had the opportunity to do that since about week 3 or 4 of last season. Been too long. Lets play some football. Lets see a run game for the 1st time in years. An improved Oline, improved LB, the return of Odell. A lot to be excited about.

Seeing if the OL performs the way I expect them to.

I'm always psyched for the start of the season. I try to temper my expectations though, been crushed way to many times.

I hoping Barkley makes me forget about Sam Darnold. For 4 years, at least

I hoping Barkley makes me forget about Sam Darnold. If you're in NY/NJ you'll be able to catch a handful of Samchez games.

The notion that we are not going to be predictable on either side of the ball.

Barkley, of course. That's a given. But, there are quite a few areas of the team that deserve their own little soap opera following. For one, I'm really curious to finally see a 3-4 alignment. I grew up with that scheme and I can't wait to see what Bettcher throws at other teams. I'll be watching to see how some of the players that were here last year playing on the line with their hand in the dirt will fare dropping back to LB, players like Moss and Vernon.

Most definitely looking forward to see the return of the running game. The additions of Barkley, Hernandez and Solder should give the O a huge lift.
Also very excited to see the new scheme on D. I don't have quite the same expectations for the D as I do the O, but very curious as to how the transition plays out.

Back to being Giants Football culture first and foremost... then playing 60 minutes of hardnose football of which either win or lose... I am proud to have watched our team compete at a high level... the rest will take care of itself.

I'm really psyched to see Barkley and I also want to see a hopefully healthy Odell on the field. But honestly, I'm just ready to see how the retooled Giants look with a new regime steering the ship on the field and in the front office.

That’s a good point because the Giants were such a soft team last year, and even in 13, 14, and 15 we got blown out quite a bit.

My list: 1. Better Protection for ELI 2. No Macadoo 3. The Return of OBJ 4. Saquan Barkley 5. Bettcher's Defense (As much as I liked Spags, His D has been mostly lack luster with instances of brilliance)

I was in favor of taking a QB at 2, but now that that ship has sailed way off into the distance, I am excited to see Barkley play for this team.

I live in Central NJ and have to watch Jets games every week. For this reason, I am hoping that Darnold turns them into a decent team. I'd much prefer to watch competitive football games, outside of the Giants blowing people out.

What about the scenario of Darnold bringing the Jets to the Super Bowl in year 2023, when 42 year old Eli is retired, and the Giants don't have a franchise quarterback and aren't in the playoffs? This is why I'm hoping to see "Sam-chez" than "Sam-math".
