He better be.
How good is ok states defense?
Edit: quick google search = not good. If Lock doesn’t have his way with them, he comes off the board.

Have not heard where he projects? Not in first round and behind Greer I saw in 2nd round
All mocks have us taking Haskins at 6

Missed the entire first half so my only observation on this game The 4 Tops somehow took anti aging pills because they look younger than me and they have been popular since the 60s.

Lock is the best QB in this draft. He’s good. He’s kind of like Mahomes. Big arm, makes all the throws and can make them from different angles and doesn’t need his feet perfect. I’d be fine with him at 6...but if they keep projecting lower...wouldn’t mind trading back and still getting him.

He does not look like a top 10 pick. Would be a desperation reach

Nope.
Not a fan.
Wouldn't be surprised to see him there in day 2.

Has some NFL traits Way too inconsistent for a top 10 qb Someone will overdraft him though

May not even be a first rounder this year

If he's there in the 3rd I would trade up for him. He will have a better oline, barkley as a runner that teams will fear and odell running routes. Per the negative article below, he has Stafford type ceiling. www.thehuddlereport.com/blog/drew-lock-qb-missouri/I think if we can surround him with the pieces he can do well behind a strong oline and a heavy run offense. Sitting and learning the pro offense behind Eli will help and shurmur will get the most out of him.

He's accurate, mobile but just can't handle the pressure. Not many qbs can but you can work around that, a running game, improved oline and even the system can help. Plus a qb can actually improve on this area. Can't teach arm talent that he has. If he's there in the 2nd when we pick, I'll. Sure be tempted. Mahomes had a lot of similar negatives coming out too.

Go look at the his games against Alabama and Georgia ( the closest to NFl Defenses) His throws are bad especially when outside the pocket. Yea he can hit wide open recievers against lesser opponents and make for great highlight reels . Going against belter Defenses . He is average at best. We can get FS, LB depth or O-line depth with a 3rd round pick .

IMO I rather take this kid in the 3rd(trade) than reach for haskins who hasn't been pressured once all season lol. All the qbs that are coming out have question marks so I would rather we improve our defense with the 1st and 2nd. But if he's there middle to late 2nd I'll be tempted for a trade.

So it’s pretty clear how the different minds are gonna go on this board this offseason.
Just to make it clear; we’re all ok with trading the entirety of our 2020 draft to trade up for tua, Fromm, or whoever?
I’m cool with it, but DG needs to hit on a TON of defensive players in the 2019 draft or it’s really all for naught. We’ll be marginally better next year, then just straight suck in 2020 with a rookie qb and no defense if he doesn’t kill 4th and 5th rounds this year.

Lock has been better then people are giving him credit he doesn't have a ton of talent around him, big arm mobile and humble and I'm sure DG is watching every QB / DE /OL.
