I was trying to convey that the guy you're arguing with is selling the idea that stats mean more than championships. If someone actually believes, discussing it is a waste of your time. I wasn’t arguing with him. Just pointing out that he said he was done trashing Eli.

Watching the Bengals game now, the OL looks meh. No push for the short yardage stuff. Protection was spotty.

Although its not saying much there. Solder looked bad again, and Hernandez didnt have a great game either.

A bit shaky , not due to lack of skill or talent but to a shortage of time playing together as a unit. It should be able to come together.

What was worse is it wasnt the new guys C-LT that looked worse, it was the right side.

Glad the oline got tested last night! Unhappy with the results though. At least it was preseason. They have time to fix mistakes. It isn't a lack of talent this time.

Im not TOO worried, last night he was playing against arguably the 2nd best DT after Aaron Donald and probably tied with Fletcher Cox. He didnt look great, but he is still young and was going against 1 of the top 3 DTs in the league. Halapio also didnt have a great game, but hopefully he is just working out the kinks in the preseason

With this improved line SB will have a lot of daylight to run thru

With this improved line SB will have a lot of daylight to run thru Hopefully this line does improve and the lack of other weapons doesn't allow defenses to focus just on stopping Barkley. Now we are waiting for another 2 weeks to see if all this wishful thinking is correct or not.

Like cmon, you gonna help block 1 of the best DTs in the league or an average-above average guy. Zeitler is also a seasoned pro, so it would make MUCH more sense to double up and help the 2nd yr player

The only rational reasoning I could come up with is That Giants wanted to roll out away from Akins , and run to the right to nullify him .

Maybe they wanted Hernandez to get some 1 on 1 time against Atkins as practice?? Who knows?? As long as he learned from his mistakes and builds from it, its all good
