well seeing as goober never kept the D off the field for 3 qtrs each superbowl , I find it ironic. Eli won those SB's...Warner cost his team those games. I thought that would have been obvious. You can tell how objective he is by the "goober" reference.

But I actually like Warner and think he was a great QB...I just don't dig around for reasons to blame him for everything like he does with Eli

He never even got to play in one. Was 2-6 in playoff games. kinda hard when his D gave up 40 points in big games. They must have been gassed from the offense not keeping them off the field.

Despite that, they were still in position to win the game late in the 4th after that long Fitzgerald TD. It just took some clutch play by Big Ben and a historically great catch by Holmes to seal that deal. That honestly was supposed to be our repeat . A shit load of what ifs for us. Now if I understand these boards correctly, that loss to Pittsburgh was because Warner didn't do his job. Yes and no. It’s also due to the superhuman effort of the magic rothlisberger heroically carrying the team on his back as he clearly had all season. Plus I don’t think he missed any 2 point conversions early in the game and you know how those will absolutely kill a team’s chances.

he threw 3 td passes, he didnt have the luxury as eli had to only need 19 points. If he had kept the D off the field, they would have won...he let his whole team down with his incompetence. Plus that back breaking gift wrapped turnover TD, but what a passer rating...mmmmmmm

My Obviousman character is available if you’d like to rent it. I don’t expect to need it until the defense starts sucking hard, so like maybe by the second game.
