Ate a dose of humble pie this morning and admitted he was wrong about Jones (sort of).
What I'd LIKE to see him do is apologize to the organization for his racial accusations.
But since you can't get haters to eat that whole pie, I suppose it'll have to be good enough.

Funny how we went from a complete mess with absolutely no plan, to an organization that has gotten it right.

I had to watch that twice. The first time I couldn't get past the spaghetti strap silk shirt.
Carter didn't apologize for the racism accusation because he wants people to forget he ever said it. NOW, he's saying how much he respects the organization. What a clown.

I would like for him even if he does it in a private setting, text anything. Apologize for the Race comment, it is a serious accusation and Issue that shouldn't be thrown around or used to push narratives.

We're judging what we're seeing...in the vacuum of preseason performance, Daniel Jones is playing incredible. Doesn't mean he's going to be an excellent NFL QB, but it could also just as easily mean it's a sign of things to come. Nothing wrong with being excited about the kid, his play has made that so. Anyone actually getting ahead of themselves should roll back, but saying that Daniel Jones has played great is an objective fact, and being excited about it is a completely normal reaction to that.

4 months ago: we're crazy, worst franchise in the league 20 PS attempts now: best QB in franchise history, great pick can everyone just slow the **** down with takes? Four months ago that was other Giant fans. Not me. If the kid ends up staying on the track, every Giant fan is going to have to face Shurmur's question. Were you a Jones hater? A Jones believer? Or waiting to see how it played out? I don't know how many of us were reserving judgement, but I was one of them. I feel I've seen enough, even if some critics still disagree, because I can't remember a QB picking things up this fast and doing the things that the "draft gurus" specifically said he couldn't do. And there's reason for not wanting to listen to them anymore. Because if you'll notice, none of them are picking on his physical traits anymore (throwing the ball and accuracy) after Jones demonstrated insane accuracy and good arm strength. Nor are they saying stuff like, "played second stringers" after Jones torched the Bengals starters. Now they're just saying stuff like, "you don't know how he's going to react when defenses gameplan specifically according to your weaknesses." I don't trust "experts" who keep moving the goalpost like that.

These days, the racist card is thrown around like its nothing, and is never apologized for if it is found to be wrong. All this kind of stuff does is really water down racism.

I wanted Josh Allen at 6, but when they drafted Jones - and you can look my shit up - I said I would support him and root for him to succeed regardless. This isn't about me being right about projections, its about being a good fan and supporting whoever is starting at QB I agree experts move the goalpost WAY too much out of a need to be accurate all the time. nobody is, never will be. analysts need to look correct, otherwise why would they be analysts? if they're constantly wrong, then whats the point of having them? it's why I dont trust any talking head, or PFF or anyone who makes a dollar on projections or analyzing, because it can absolutely be subjective and tailored to further your goal (the dollar) just my take

And I listed 3 sides, but who's counting? I was looking for Josh Allen as well. Nothing wrong with it and nobody said there's anything wrong with projections. What I have a problem with is all the people who went so far in crushing crushing the pick that they can no longer afford to be wrong about it and that's why the need to be correct and that's what the "draft gurus" are doing right now. For every reaction, there's an equal but opposite reaction. People are crushing Jones haters for their reaction with a reaction that was similar to their over-the-top condemnation of the pick. And they deserve it for acting that way.

Maybe it is just me but that apology isnt exactly equivalent to the accusations he levied against the organization immediately after the draft. Unless I am mistaken, CC was one of the guys accusing the Giants organization of racism when they selected Jones over Haskins.
An "oops, Jones is a better player than I thought" doesn't exactly balance out the scales when you accuse an organization of racism. I am not sure there is enough crow for that meal.

I'm not moving until the 9th. Currently I am in Kentucky for my little sister's funeral, who died during surgery this week. The bias stems from your hyperbolic responses to positive posts about Jones. To you, EVERY word is a dis to the Queen E.

Worst part of the accusation is that you're basically going ahead and confirming for some people the very things they want to believe. Pretty reckless and people should start being held accountable for it.

What a joke. The very first thing Carter does is bash Shurmur saying "you didn't see this player in college because he wasn't there. If he looked like this he would have been drafted earlier". Just because Chris Carter didn't see it does not mean that it wasn't there. I know I seen it. I know FBomb seen it. I know DG and Shurmur seen it. It was there if you looked for it.

Is hyperbole about players now all of a sudden banned when it comes to Jones?Do you not see the hypocrisy? Every word is not a diss - but there certainly are some assholic disses that are frankly disrespectful coming from anyone calling themselves a fan. Hell, you flipped out on someone 2 weeks ago before the Jets game and accused them of not supporting Jones because they didn't think he would have the best performance of the night. So don't come at me like that when you act the exact same way dude.

Looks like the Jags got it right too. I saw the Jags preseason game last night and Josh Allen looked great. He is going to be a defensive star in this league. DJ has to be a good one.

The thread you are talking about was in response to another member of the E-hive stating that there was no way Jones could have the best performance of the night because it's only preseason and he won't play the entire game. THAT is true for ALL players then, not just Jones. He went out of his way to point that out about Jones only. And ftr.....Jones went 5-5 with a TD and a perfect passer rating. In keeping with the spirit of that thread, he DID have the best performance of the night. I am not "acting" in any way. My loyalties lie with the TEAM and what is best for them. Playing Eli during a total rebuild makes no sense to me. The best thing is to let Jones learn and grow with the team sooner than later.
