No, it's simply an opinion. Whether it's probably is different, but it's not bias. Bias is someone saying "Because I'm obsessed with Daniel Jones, I want Eli to fail" Sorry, I know you don't see it. But, you don't see it because....well....you're biased. No one has said "I want Eli to fail". That's one of those bias hyperbolic responses I pointed out about you. That is your weakness that proves my point. Everything to you is considered a dis on Eli. Bias is holding onto your opinion despite evidence to the contrary. bias: prejudice in favor of or against one thing, person, or group compared with another, usually in a way considered to be unfair. im not bias, you're bias against me - so that nullifies your opinion not my problem if you can't handle hyperbole - go back to being the mayor of Jones town, homer

I'm not "coming at you" in any way. I'm poking fun at your obvious bias. The thread you are talking about was in response to another member of the E-hive stating that there was no way Jones could have the best performance of the night because it's only preseason and he won't play the entire game. THAT is true for ALL players then, not just Jones. He went out of his way to point that out about Jones only. And ftr.....Jones went 5-5 with a TD and a perfect passer rating. In keeping with the spirit of that thread, he DID have the best performance of the night. I am not "acting" in any way. My loyalties lie with the TEAM and what is best for them. Playing Eli during a total rebuild makes no sense to me. The best thing is to let Jones learn and grow with the team sooner than later. Coming from one fan with an "obvious bias" to another one with an obvious Jones bias - hopefully you don't get as agitated as I do when Jones has a few stinkers and the usual suspects start slithering out of the woodworks to shit on him. It really ****ing pisses me off. He did have a great night, but you know that's not what the point was about - it was also not a big Eli guy - he's someone whose shat on both Manning and Jones. I'll leave it there. The best thing is to play the QB who leadership thinks gives us the best chance. Doesn't matter if it's Eli (probably is) or Jones, that's my guy this season. Rooting for one over the other is stupid to me Sorry, I just noticed you said something completely inaccurate. The poster I was yammering with in that thread was Big Red. As big an Eli homer as there is. Please do not insult my or anyone else's intelligence by claiming he's somehow not a member of the E-hive.

I don't like it when, as Carter did, he mentions that Eli, not the Giants, has had 5 of the last losing seasons. The OLines were putrid,. as was the defense. They were team losses. Eli wasn't great, but neither was his protection, and they make it sound like Eli lost those games. Same thing on his reason for not liking Jones... he says if he was so good he should have led them to more wins. Damn that team stunk without Jones, His WR's were horrid. Carter said, because it's a different offense Jones didn't make those kinds of throws and decision making at Duke... a reason why he didn't like him. BullCrap… I saw enough films of Jones to see him throw accurately far downfield, and to throw well on the run. Just because the offense is different... a QB still has opportunities at any level to make throws like he did last night. He didn't suddenly get these talents. Carter just looking for excuses as to why he didn't like Jones.

See how well Duke did when Jones got hurt.

Here's what I don't get about the whole "It's just preseason" excuse.
Which level of competition is higher? The level of competition in college...or the level of competition in preseason.
Because I'm saying the level of competition in NFL preseason is higher. Probably way higher.
So why do people who bash Jones put an emphasis on his college games, then turn around and de-emphasize his NFL preseason games where the competition is most certainly higher?
I guarantee you those second and third string defenses he faced could probably beat Alabama.

He has done just about as good as you could have hoped for if he had done poorly this preseason then he would be slammed.

See how well Duke did when Jones got hurt. If what he saw in two games was not enough for him, then he should have watched a little more film before he went way overboard in criticizing the pick. WTF is wrong with saying... To be fair, I haven't seen much of DJ, so I don't want to say it was a horrid pick. Having said that, the place for insinuating racism should never have happened. He made racial aspersions in the motivation for the pick? He had an agenda, and admitting that he didn't see much of DJ wouldn't have fulfilled that agenda. He should be a man an admit that he was wrong in questioning that the Giant's motives had anything racial involved. As far as Smith and Kellerman are concerned... I couldn't watch all of that. Geeeezuz. But, I was interested to find out the other day that S.Smith makes 10 mil a year. Wow. How can they pay someone that much just for having their own opinions. He's guessing half the time, like them all... and collects 10 Mil???

I never liked the guy from his days with the Vikings. I always thought he treated Moss like an idiot and was jealous of him.

Anybody else, in the times we are living in, would have been fired for it. **** Cris Carter!!!
