I really cant believe we are talking about this in 3 different threads. On a scale of 1 to 100 of my concerns about this team, who the 3rd string QB is ranks about 99. Also, people going nuts over launching a WR who has been in the league 3 years and hasn’t played in a regular season game

Also, people going nuts over launching a WR who has been in the league 3 years and hasn’t played in a regular season game I liked what I saw from Russell. But I'll defer to the coaches. My bet is they saw him as mostly st and found someone better for that role. And I really can't fault them if that is the reason. When is the last time we had really good sts?

and the other 2 or three threads bemoaning the #3 QB spot It is sad in a surreal manner . We went from Giants Pride discussing when we are going to win another trophy in 2012. To how sucky our #3 QB is. When we have extensive decisions on this diminutive drivel . It shows the scale of how we have fallen. Yes and no. How many teams haven't won anything in the past decade whose fanbases are consoling themselves with what? Decent fantasy stats? A good Madden rating next year? Let's cut the crap, football is about winning and anyone that tries to sell you on the idea that they'd rather be generally mediocre and win a playoff game or two over being crappy and winning a championship is selling you and more likely themselves a load of bullshit. Packaged and served fresh each year by the nfl peanut gallery.

I believe we have been lacking because aspects of the team on both sides of the ball have been overestimated in aptitude. I think it is that simple. When the Defense is effective . The offense finds a way to flounder. When Offense shows signs of life. The defense has an innate ability to become a sieve. IMO: That describes the Giants since 2015. it is not just one or 2 players at the root of this. They all have played their part in the misgivings of the team. Lets hope we turn a corner this upcoming season.

If anyone here would legitimately be happy with a team that is generally mediocre and never wins or frankly even comes close to competing for a SB over what we've had, they're lost....likely from listening to the sports DJs a bit too much.
