That's a great point. 10 points to whomever can figure out who Flowers thought he was supposed to block on that play. He thought it was a tackle eligible?

6-10 Change in the QB mid season, complete lack of top WR talent, porous defense but we play a "lighter" schedule so we will add some Ws. I disagree. I think these WR’s will be ok. Especially with Tate coming back week 5

To be fair he had to in a split second try to take the man that Flowers let go when he went out for that pass.. Bavaro or Whitten would have faired similarly here (2 of the better blocking TEs )

You can see the TE had to grab him by the arm after Flowers inexplicably bursts off the LOS.

I see flowers miss a block or a chip on 95, then go to the second level completely whiff on one line backer than whiff and try to trip on another lber lmao. It takes skill to screw up a play that badly.. no clue what he was doing out there.

Ellison had to grab Jones (95) by the arm off the snap because he wasn’t expecting him to burst free And was lined up a little wide to be in a great position to defend. That couldn’t have been scripted that way but with McAdoo anything possible.

Now I will admit, I am no expert on the finer points of OL play, but what offensive plays schemes for the LT to make no contact with anybody and break into the open field? I would be genuinely surprised if the play call was drawn up for him to do that.

Ah, gotcha, my mistake....who is 74 then?
edit:
Actually no, Flowers only wore 76 in 2015. He was 74 in 2016-2018. So unless that is a 2015 games and I don't think it is, #74 is Flowers.

Ereck Flowers.. Guy belongs in a circus where they throw pies at him.. He is now a guard. He was recently quoted as saying he didn't understand all the criticism he took as a Tackle with NYG.

Think of something that really annoys you. Now multiply that by 20 and you have Ereck Flowers.

I think we surprise people this year with a 9-7 record.
We’re going to still have problems closing games out at times. Unfortunately we’re going to experience more close score brutal losses.

Flowers was bad in camp and preseason. I have a few Skins fan friends and they are hating him already.
Is he not the Tackle anymore though? Did Williams sign?
