Popular draft selection Dylan Moses is returning to Alabama. I’m surprised by that one I dont know why, but I never got on board with Moses. Then again I hate Bama and am never sure if they are just products of the system surrounded by great players, or if they are great players themselves. Thats 1 of the reasons Ive given Alex Leatherwood and Jedrick Wills no piece of mind

Id be PISSED if I was a Bengals fan, then again they're starting 2020 with a new QB and LT which COULD work out great, or terrible, LOL

I would absolutely love a draft like this. Talent and athleticism all over the place. A lot of talented defensive players would be added which is a huge need. Really solid offensive guys added with some flare in Gibson as well

Young, Wrifs, and Thomas go 1, 2, and 3. Just did a draft with Okudah, now Im giving it a shot with Lamb. Cant really seem to land a top notch EDGE guy though, if it works out like this hopefully we would have addressed the outside in free agency

Someone I really like but always goes before my pick in the 3rd is Darrell Taylor out of Tennessee. Something like Lamb/Okudah in the first, Prince in the 2nd, Darrell Taylor in the 3rd, and Dye/Davis-Gaither in the 4th would be unreal IMO. Very good players each round who could all start early or day one if needed all at positions of need. I would love a start like that

1st one of the new year New coaching staff, maybe someone who is innovative on both sides of the ball
Only signed Byron Jones this time as we hired Martindale/Brady and brought on Callahan as O line coach
I resigned Williams and Golden and extended Tomlinson (Too bad we can't trade players because I would offer up Engram)
Different strategy at times For the first time I started to target players and groups of players, especially early if a BPA wasn't interesting
20: R1P20 EDGE K'LAVON CHAISSON LSU
Young,Thomas and Okudah went in front of me...I probably didnt get enough from Jacksonville, then moved back again seeing Ruggs,Reagor,Jeudy,Lamb,Simmons and Chaisson were still there
Ended up with my 2nd favorite edge rusher here
26: R1P26 WR HENRY RUGGS III ALABAMA
Had a bit of an injury yesterday..dunno what it was,but a dynamic speed guy opposite Slayton with a ton of o linemen stacked for day 2
36: R2P4 OT ISAIAH WILSON GEORGIA
Not the LT ..but an instant plug and play day 1 RT for the next 10 years
58: R2P26 RB TRAVIS ETIENNE CLEMSON
Not my usual spot for a RB,but nothing of interest here at other needs, another home run threat at RB..very Sproles/Eric Metcalf like in that he is also an incredible reciever as well.
63: R2P31 C DARRYL WILLIAMS MISSISSIPPI STATE
One of about a group of 5 centers that win the starting job here in 2020 BPA
97: R3P33 CB PAULSON ADEBO STANFORD
Had him targeted. A Richard Sherman clone to add to our corner group
100: R3P36 LB TROY DYE OREGON
Had him targeted(had a 4th round grade) Watched him all over the field yesterday Him in the 3rd/4th is much more preferable to Simmons in the top 10 in that he actually is a linebacker as opposed to an athlete without a defined position
112: R4P4 OT LUCAS NIANG TCU
Targeted...our eventual starting LT
151: R5P4 TE COLBY PARKINSON STANFORD
Seeing a TE that can block at high level and be athletic in the passing game in Kaden Smith was really refreshing.. I targeted his teammate who had a better season than Smith at the TE factory of Stanford
185: R6P4 WR ANTONIO GIBSON MEMPHIS
Targeted Swiss army knife dynamic playmaker Big bodied WR that has speed ,post catch ball skills, probably our KO and punt returner, also plays RB at times so we have a guy that can be lethal on jet sweeps
220: R7P4 WR K.J. HILL OHIO STATE
BPA can't pass on Victor Cruz 2.0 this deep in the draft
246: R7P30 LB SHAQUILLE QUARTERMAN MIAMI
Can't pass on a possible starter at LB this deep in the draft . 249: R7P33 G EZRA CLEVELAND BOISE STATE
Depth on the line

Oh, Yannick Ngakoue and Clowney were both over 20 million (believe 22 got it accepted, and at 40%) per for 5 years...1st year cap hit is not the salary.
Oh, and I am going back to a 4-3

Tua just declared for the draft (which I agree with). Let’s hope some teams fall in love with him and/or Herbert and would be willing to give us a nice haul for moving back a couple picks. Being somewhere around 6-10 and getting someone like Simmons, Lamb, Jeudy, Wirfs, etc would be awesome with adding more picks

With the Judge hiring as HC. Does this effect our drafting strategy. Patriots always like to trade down to get more picks. Which I am not oppose to doing.

Gettleman will still run the draft O line still needs a lot of help The big thing is the DC If we stay in the 3/4 it's simple Resign Williams and Golden, extend Tomlinson...keep building the front 7 If we bring in a strict 4/3 guy we have to completely nuke the front 7 again and start over, which means our rebuild takes at least another year because of recources that have to be used here that could go elsewhere

New coach So thinking hard nosed physical style on the lines.....
Did something different for free agency as I'm out of the Chase Young sweepstakes
Cut Ellison Martin Ogletree
Resigned Wilmiams Golden Extended Tomlinson
Signed Conklin (want to guarentee one tackle spot is finally upgraded Byron Jones(have someone that can play outside, slot and FS that helps the young guys out) Dante Fowler (get another edge rusher opposite Golden So now the d line and edge guys are set for a few years..
So draft time comes and the first 3 off the board is Young, Wirfs Thomas
You bet I'm trading back
R1P12 WR CEEDEE LAMB OKLAHOMA
No brainer here, contrary to belief the next wave of tackles is not worth a first round risk and having Conklin and a stop gap with Soldier I decided to wait Get my favorite reciever here opposite Slayton, this also will help the running game
19: R1P19 LB ISAIAH SIMMONS CLEMSON
Wanted Biadasz...this is the perfect spot for Simmons and with everything else I did in free agency and Connelly coming back with Carter as a wild card..the front 7 is now a highly athletic strength
36: R2P4 C TYLER BIADASZ WISCONSIN
Yeah no brainer for the only C with a first round grade..
Judge gets his physical ****head next to Hernandez..interior power A gap zone out of RPO with our weapons....this is now a 27 point a game offense minimum.
98: R3P34 TE ALBERT OKWUEGBUNAM MISSOURI
Pairing him with Kaden Smith(I would entertain trade talks for Engram depending on how quick he develops)gives me 2 big blocking dynamic recieving TEs...red zone threats..
107: R4P4 OT LUCAS NIANG TCU
Future starting LT
150: R5P4 S JULIAN BLACKMON UTAH
Add more youth to the safety spot. From a very talented Utah defense
183: R6P4 OT JACK DRISCOLL AUBURN
Only reason he is not highly rated was an injury issue .. Has good starting potential...but makes a high end backup at both tackle spots
218: R7P4 LB TUF BORLAND OHIO STATE
Depth at LB..highly underrated

Really fun player to watch and plays hard as hell most times I watched him. Barry is a solid player. I always watch a good amount of Nebraska games, because a million of my buddies are diehard fans. Him and Jackson were fun to watch on a struggling team. They also have some solid DL players, but we have plenty of hogmollies on the DL lol. Nebraska has quietly pumped out some solid defenders recently Maliek Collins is pretty good for Dallas, Nathan Gerry does a lot of different things for Philly, etc. It’s a shame their most talented guy in recent memory outside of Lavonte David and Suh couldn’t keep his act together and had no drive it seemed (Randy Gregory)
