Pretty classy way of responding. Something that Landon Collins would never do.

"...even though I think he dipped his uniform in something slippery..."
That wasnt needed if its classy. Sounds like a half hearted attempt at an excuse.

Becoming a favorite player of mine. Beginning of the season I called the life guard because Peppers was missing in action. But now with a few games in Bettchers system he plays more fluid, more comfortable which means he’s reacting instead of thinking. He’s a firecracker on the field.
And by owning up to a missed tackle further proves why I like him as a player. Not often does an athlete own up to a mistake out in the open. Their ego won’t allow them to do so. Peppers took it head on and best believe will not make that mistake again. Glad he’s on our team.

Accountability is huge....and contagious. That is something that had been missing around here for a long time from the GM on down there was none, no one could ever admit we made a mistake need to fix it, that was what was refreshing when they moved on from Flowers and Omameh and brought in Brown, it said we screwed up doesn't mean we have to live with it .

Love this kid. This entire secondary is coming together. Well for the most part. Still need that third CB (where the F is Ballentine?). Jenkins is playing awesome, Baker has pretty much been lights out since week 2, Peppers is flying around looking great and even Bethea is doing his thing.

Big fan of Antrel Rolle. He figuratively bled Giants blue. Guy gets a Giants super bowl championships ring tattooed on his chest with “All In” written in. He’s actually one of my favorite players of all time. Consummate teammate would do anything for the team. Need him to play nickel corner due to injures you got it. Played a season with two torn labrums, didn’t miss a snap. Talk about a guy who you were proud he was on the team I root for. And did I mention he was a hell of a player? I rank him up there with all time Giants.

He makes some very good plays too, but gets beat bad too much. Tough with Jenkins and Baker the 3rd guy will get targeted a lot.

He does not have to own up to us. Honestly, fans have unrealistic expectations. I want him to work on improving himself every week just like I want that from every NYG. Expecting him to "own up" to a missed tackle seems silly to me. Don't get me wrong, it hurt us but c'mon people, have any of you played or coached college or higher level sports? He is a keeper for us based on his entire body of work thus far. If you want to kill him for one play, use those standards in your own life.

Yup he was a fantastic signing dude never ran from anything and he actually got Tuck going when he was really not playing well and down about his own shoulder, Rolle is the one who lit the fire back in Tucks game, this is where DG really excelled for the Giants before he left grabbing Guys like Rolle Pierce Canty Plex Kawika Mitchell just to name a few, and yes Rolle was one of my all time favorites also, Peppers game is similar he has experience in the slot and at free safety also and the Hart to get better and take on any challenge.

"...even though I think he dipped his uniform in something slippery..." That wasnt needed if its classy. Sounds like a half hearted attempt at an excuse. It was a self-incrimating joke. Dont you have friends to joke with, while being ironic? Peppers is flying around, and I like his attitude. And I like peeps who admit when they **** up. To me that's what classy means.

I like Peppers a lot. He brings intensity, effort and attitude. Missed tackles happen, just keep going 100% and we can live with them.

I disagree about Bethea.......more times than not he is late to the party with defending passing plays. Great guy and all that but he doesnt have NFL speed anymore.

He is keeping people accountable though. You see a couple times a game that he goes over and gets on people in the secondary that have screwed up, you also see him go over and praise when they make good plays. Happened against the pats when Baker didn’t contain and Michel went for 10+ yards down the sideline. Later in the game it was the same situation but Baker got in great position and made a perfect tackle. Bethea’s value to the team has nothing to do with his play this year, he is the secondary coach on the field. When everyone else back there is playing their best football we will find a new FS.
