Why don't they interview Kellen Moore? The guy did have the #1 ranked offense this season. That also took the ball out of Zeke's hands needlessly (the let's fix what's not broken in game adjustments where the OC shuts down his own team's running game when it was working) The Cowboys were 5th in Rushing Yards this Season but okay

Seemed like he worked well in Minnesota and Philadelphia. It did work He also had 2 good o lines in those places and weapons outside to pull players out of the box Right, so it was more DGs fault for supplying him with an awful OL....

I’m gonna get laughed at but I’d like Jason Garrett over here as OC. Maybe there could be a reunion of sorts and we bring Wade Phillips in as DC because from what I gather Rams fired him. Judge needs experienced vets at DC and OC. I would not be opposed to Garrett or Phillips or both

I hope we don't get JG. Over at the Cowpokes board they are wishing us to sign him as our OC I know a guy who is a cowboys fan.
He desperately wanted the Giants to hire Garrett.

as HC....because they think he stinks as a HC. as an OC and QB guy its an entirely different story.

garrett was a great offensive coordinator, he was aggressive, his teams scored, went for it, and piled up some yards. Im actually impressed he did as well as he did as a head coach, never really saw him as head coach material, and wasnt he hired on an interim basis? he hung in there, if not quite taking it over the top.
id be more than fine with him as OC.

Why is this thread still pinned to the top of the board?
It was already reported that the Giants requested to interview him for the HC position and not the OC.

I'd be good with Garrett as the OC and in division brings deep knowledge of the Cowgirls. That's not a bad thing. No...not a bad thing at all...

Why don't they interview Kellen Moore? The guy did have the #1 ranked offense this season. His O was mostly a powerhouse O vs bottom ranked Ds. Majority of their pts & yds came vs NY2x, Skins 2x, Dolphins 35 31 31 37 47 Rams/Eagles were only team with a winning record that they lit up all yr: 37 & 44 Put up 15, 10, 9, & 9 vs better defenses. Lowest pt total in a game for NY O all yr was 10pts vs Minn. And let's remember that NY played all yr w/o a fully healthy lineup of SB,EE,Tate & Shep all yr long. Fix the OL in FA & the draft & this NY O could put up 450pts next yr.

I would like Garrett as OC. Fans would boycott if he was hired as head coach but he would fit in at OC very well. Judge can be the CEO / Generalist, and Garrett the Xs and Os guy, the engineer for the offense.
I did like Shurmur but I thought he did not manage games well. It's likely that he was too focused on calling plays. A full-time OC would be helpful. I think Garrett would be a good mentor for Judge due to his skills and prior experience.

One advantage Garret (and Gruden) gives, along with HC experience, is familiarity with NFC East opponents. Making playoffs usually starts with winning against division.

Excellent point although Dallas and Washington may look a bit different. I do very much like the thought of former HC there for the young man to lean on. Garrett in particular seems like he's not overly egotistical and would not make it uncomfortable to ask HC questions of. BB of all people would know one of the shortcuts to excellence is to learn from more than one mentor. I think a good HC has to have an edginess about him and hopefully that's what we have.
