...just showing that some of us college ball and draft junkies hanging around in this subforum.... including Analyst, GL, Kase TCHOF jmike and especially nygfanstrick... who gets all of us studying many players we have never heard of...we have all heard about Toney, watched Toney and wanted him with a trade back. I’ve seen what you’ve posted over the years. I’ll be lucky to crack your top 10. It’s not that outlandish to say he’s been an average GM over the years. Has he ever drafted a good receiver ? Look at his drafts over the years, they’ve been subpar. He’s without a doubt one of the best head coaches this league has ever seen, and he gets every ounce out of every player. But his drafts, are nothing to brag about. Julian Francis Edelman? Rob Gronkowski? He did draft Tom Brady. I was talking about recently. I’ll give you those two though. They were great finds. Tom Brady, is a no brainer. Drafting the best quarterback ever in the 6th round is a grand slam. He could have retired on that pick alone.

Drafting the best quarterback ever in the 6th round is a grand slam. He could have retired on that pick alone. That's more HOFs than most GMs get. I agree, he hasn't had the best track record at drafting but it doesn't seem to matter. He makes it work with his picks and FAs. I would have him as our GM in half a second.

You don’t win multiple Super Bowls on Tom Brady alone. However, I wouldn’t want him running our drafts. Head coach? I would do that in a millisecond.
