I wouldn't care what we did the rest of the draft if we were able to get Allen and Taylor round one. That would be insane Lots of good to mid round picks as well Thanks, i was hoping i could hang up the hard hat and tool belt to seamlessly transition into scouting and the front office. LMAO. If we got Allen and Taylor 2019 is considered a success If you were able to pull off a first round like that you'd be idolized forever lol. Really interested to see if DG plans on staying put more or is willing/planning on moving up or back whenever he feels fit. A lot of options with those picks. And if we got anything remotely like that we would likely be able to be about as aggressive as possible and still have a good draft

We will be in a GREAT spot if we leave the 1st with any combination of: Jonah Williams Jawan Taylor Cody Ford Garret Bradbury Ed Oliver QW Christian Wilkins Devin White Devin Bush TJ Hockenson Josh Allen Nick Bosa

It will be interesting where he ends up going because he was a really really solid prospect before the combine

Nothing too flashy. Mixed it up with Haskins. A lot of talent early on will definitely help the lines. Some sleeper guys I really like that are good depth or can make an impact early on potentially

6: R1P6 QB DREW LOCK MISSOURI
If they are going QB, this would be my choice
17: R1P17 EDGE RASHAN GARY MICHIGAN
Too versatile, and too much upside to pass at 17
37: R2P5 EDGE CHASE WINOVICH MICHIGAN
A perfect scheme fit on our defense...high motor
95: R3P31 OT DAVID EDWARDS WISCONSIN
An upgrade on the right tackle, although the Solder replacement is still needed
108: R4P6 C ELGTON JENKINS MISSISSIPPI STATE
Versatile and an easy pick at this round. Can play tackle guard and center...
132: R4P30 DL TRYSTEN HILL UCF
A DG guy...finally climbing the big boards into the middle rounds.
142: R5P4 S AMANI HOOKER IOWA
I can't stop picking a hooker
143: R5P5 WR MILES BOYKIN NOTRE DAME
Great combine pushed this guy up...easy choice at this spot
171: R5P33 TE CALEB WILSON UCLA
Where our 2 tight end should be chosen
180: R6P7 RB BENNY SNELL KENTUCKY
Snell BPA at this spot...rather have some Love, but I already have my Hooker
232: R7P18 CB SAIVION SMITH ALABAMA
Easy BPA in the 7th round...upside is there
245: R7P31 CB ALIJAH HOLDER STANFORD
Another BPA in round 7....

Used CBS Sports again, because I typically like their rankings the most out of the ones provided. I tried to mix it up from my last in depth one and try and pick as many players different as possible. I do have a couple duplicates though just because I really like them at that spot.
6: R1P6 QB DWAYNE HASKINS OHIO ST- Personally I think they have to take Haskins or a QB at 6 IF they believe he is a franchise guy. If they don't think there is a franchise guy then I'd go best playmaker on defense. I personally am a big fan of Haskins because I think he does a lot of things well that we would be looking for in a QB and I think he has a lot of room to grow. He is a good arm, needs to refine some things technically but he wouldn't likely see much or any playing time his rookie year. He has a great football IQ. He processes the field quickly and gets the ball out of his hands. We have guys like Shep, Tate, Engram, and Barkley. All of those guys can be utilized well with someone like Haskins at QB. He allows them to do what they are best at. Get the ball in space and make some plays. I think a year of learning under Eli would do wonders for him and he would benefit from NFL coaching at QB. Ohio State isn't known for producing pro-style QB's so I would assume that having a guy like Haskins was new for them and he probably didn't receive the most ideal coaching for his style of play. What he was able to do in his first year as a starter in the big ten is special. He put up crazy numbers with an OL that wasn't great. He shows up in big games and big moments. If you listen to the guy speak he sounds like a guy you want at QB running your team. The mobility doesn't worry me too much at all. He is able to extend plays when he needs to. I think he will get in better shape being in an NFL weight room and fully dedicating himself to becoming the best he can possibly be. I think he will be a guy that won't get many if any read-options called for him or anything like that, but if they play breaks down he should be able to pick up 5-10 yards if he decides to tuck it and run.
17: R1P17 EDGE CLELIN FERRELL CLEMSON- At 17 I went with Ferrell. He isn't a guy who will blow you away with absolutely ridiculous athleticism, but he is a very solid player. We need edge rushers badly and Ferrell would be a good addition. He got it done playing good competition and playing in some of the biggest games in college football. I think it is entirely possible that he is there at 17 and if we go QB round one I definitely could see them targeting Ferrell at 17th overall.
37: R2P5 S CHAUNCEY GARDNER-JOHNSON FLORIDA- I really really like watching him play the game. He is a versatile guy who makes plays all over the field. He is a guy who comes up and makes tackles underneath. He helps in the run game defensively as well. He is solid in coverage. I think he is a guy Bettcher would love to have due to his playing style and his versatility. Peppers and Gardner-Johnson would be a really fun safety duo and would have two guys who fly all over the field compared to Landon Collins who was inconsistent in coverage to say the least and Curtis Riley, who was.... simply very bad.
95: R3P31 LB GERMAINE PRATT NC STATE- Pratt is a former safety if I recall correctly. He is one of those guys who can fly around with speed and do everything you'd want from a LB. He needs to work on some things, but with NFL coaching they should be able to fix some of those like getting off of blocks. I also think more experience playing LB will help him limit those negative aspects from showing up. I would love to have a LB like Pratt. It is frustrating to see us year after year not be able to cover a TE to save our lives. Pratt is someone who I think could easily be the 3rd LB off the board after White and Bush, but I have seen him ranked really inconsistently. Some love him and some really rank him much lower than I personally believe he should be. If we were able to get him in this spot I would be very very happy.
108: R4P6 OT MAX SCHARPING N. ILLINOIS- Scharping is a guy that got it done at a high level for multiple years. It doesn't look the prettiest at all when he is out there but doesn't get beat very often whatsoever. He definitely needs to clean up some technique, but him being able to play so well with subpar technique makes me optimistic that he will be able to become a very solid OT when he works on those things. This isn't an E. Flowers situation that he is being taken top 15 because he is a freak of nature and regardless of the technique. I think Scharping just simply didn't have the best coaching at Northern Illinois which can attribute to some of the technique issues. Not the same as Flowers coming from the University of Miami and still being a complete mess technically. He is a good athlete too which is always nice to have at OL. I think there will be some ups and downs but he gets it done. The bad plays will likely look pretty damn bad, but he's an upgrade over Wheeler for sure in my opinion and should be able to become a solid OT. Playing with Zeitler at guard next to him should help him out a lot as well.
132: R4P30 C ROSS PIERSCHBACHER ALABAMA- Played at the highest level of college football and got the job done in the run game and was not bad at all in the pass game. I think it would be a good move to bring in a guy at center. Halapio will likely be the starter but if Ross can come in and do well in training camp who knows. Competition is always good and he has played some of the best defenders in college football. Plus practicing with a guy like Quinnen Williams on the other side of the ball was good practice on a regular basis I am sure lol.
142: R5P4 DL DANIEL WISE KANSAS- We could use another 3-4 DE. I would probably want to address this area sooner in the draft, but it didn't work out that way in this one. Wise was often playing on the edge which I do not think fit his style at all. I think he will be much better suited playing at the 3-4 end. At the very least he is a guy we can rotate in and out. Can never have enough bodies on the DL and especially in an area where we don't have a solidified starter at that spot (other than BJ Hill).
143: R5P5 G MITCH HYATT CLEMSON- I am really a fan of Hyatt at this spot. He is a versatile OL who played football at the highest level. Hard to beat value like that in the 5th round. We could use some depth on the OL and to have someone who can play multiple positions is great. He is another guy that had to go up against some monsters in practice. That Clemson DL last year was CRAZY good.
171: R5P33 CB JIMMY MORELAND JAMES MADISON- I really like Jimmy Moreland. He plays much bigger than his size. Has great ball skills. Wants to turn it into a TD after making a pick. Could probably push Haley for the nickel spot on day one. Adding another guy who can make plays on the ball with him and Gardner-Johnson would be great. We need playmakers on defense and Moreland would be another one added to the list in this draft.
180: R6P7 WR DIONTAE JOHNSON TOLEDO- I would personally like to get a WR earlier but man is Johnson fun to watch. He isn't a big WR, but he can play on the outside and he is electric with the ball in his hands. I have no idea why he is rated this low, but I would take him at this spot all day. I would take him considerably earlier than this too if we are being honest. He is an incredibly fun player to watch.
232: R7P18 LB ANDREW VAN GINKEL WISCONSIN- Van Ginkel is a great athlete and is a versatile guy. He had really solid production in college. He had better numbers physically than TJ Watt who just came out and had better production. I think he is a really undervalued guy at this point. He is someone you could bring off the edge and he has the athleticism that he could hold his own in coverage. Bettcher loves guys that are versatile and he would be getting another one with Van Ginkel.
245: R7P31 EDGE MALIK CARNEY NORTH CAROLINA- Malik Carney is a guy that I would definitely take a flier on late in the draft as an edge guy. We need some edge rushers and he would be a solid option late in the draft for sure in my opinion.
Overall I would really love a draft like this. Get the QB of the future and a good edge rusher in round one. We get 2 DB's who make plays all over the field in Gardner-Johnson and Moreland. We need more guys who can make plays on defense. We get a guy who could probably start at RT day one over Wheeler and get 2 guys who played great competition who can at the very least serve as OL depth which we certainly could use. We get a LB in Pratt who is everything you want in a modern day LB. We get a dynamic playmaker in Johnson at WR who would another fun weapon for this offense. He runs good routes and is a nightmare after the catch as well. Late we get two guys who can help as depth on the defensive side of the ball which we really could use.

After doing a bunch of mocks in a row. I am compiling my ideal mock scenario taking my draft spots from avg's of the draft network and fanspeak's rankings
1st round- Quinnen Williams, DL, Alabama- Dude is a straight up BEAST. rush the passer, stuff the run, occupy gaps, take on double teams, you name it he can do it. He would be a nice cornerstone at DE in our 3-4, but could also move inside on a 4-man rush. Williams has superb quickness, extension skills, pass rush counters and football intelligence. There's little in the way of limitations for Williams between the sidelines. Williams has All-Pro potential and can be a perennial Pro Bowler if he plays to his potential. Shows good shedding techniques and has a vast array of moves to drop hands off his frame. Very fluid in transitions and implementation. Motor is unbelievable and plays with relentless intensity. Can have his momentum used against him in zone concepts but balance and redirection ability typically provide ample resistance to peel back into the play. –Have seen him pop double swim moves against double teams. Who does that?! Hands never relent and shows excellent pop, sudden hands and emphatic finishes to strip hands off his frame or create separation at the first strike window. –Has the quickness, mobility and separation skills to be moved around a defensive line at the leisure of his coaches. Wouldn't recommend slotting him as a 1T or putting alignment in the A-gaps with any consistency and will shine best in penetration role. Three down defender.
1st round- Jawan Taylor, OT, Florida- The most complete OT in the draft right now, has great athleticism, nasty power, badass attitude, great pass blocking and run blocking skills. There's not really a hole in this guys game, send him into space to crush a LB as the lead blocker, no prob he got it. Easily my favorite OL this year. Taylor offers a rare blend of mass, length, mobility and power that make him an ideal starter at right tackle. He does have some technical improvements to be made with his hands and playing with better leverage, which are fixable issues. Brings heavy hands, good core strength and powerful leg drive that enables him to create movement in the run game. Terrific blend of length, mobility and power to be a reliable pass blocker. Rare lateral movement skills for his size. Has really cleaned up his pass sets to take proper sets to frame rushers and protect against moves to the be or c-gap. Stuns rushers with his hands. Effectively uses his length and widens the rushers path. Illustrates impressive range on tape, working to the second level and the perimeter to connect with moving targets. Body control on the move is outstanding and he squares up to targets in space well. Good vertical blocker and anticipates the flow of the defense while taking good angles to his landmarks. Consistently arrives on schedule. Love how smart he is in pass protection, showing an astute understanding of what everyone's role in the scheme is and showcasing terrific eye discipline. Is always under control, alert and reactive to stunts and pressure packages. Dedicated to establishing body positioning and arrives to his landmarks on the move on schedule. Smooth and controlled footwork, especially for a man of his size. Impressive lateral mobility and smooth change of direction skills. Rarely false steps when releasing to space. Has really cleaned up issues with his kick slide that caused him issues earlier in his career.
2nd round- N'Keal Harry, WR, AZ State- Dude, is a bully on the field, good route runner, outstanding ability to make all of the contested catches like the defender has no chance, can make all of the over the shoulder fades happen, . Harry's size, contested catch ability and skills defeating press coverage combine to offer an impressive package of traits, especially when considering the versatility Harry brings to an offense as a RAC receiver, deep threat and as a red-zone target. Physical route runner who possesses a wonderful blend of athletic abilities to beat defenders to all levels. Shows arm over technique and effective short area quickness to defeat press coverage and play through contact and separate down the field. Hand strength is terrific, will squeeze the football in traffic and pull in contested targets with consistency. Has the extension and catch radius to win in contested situations and possesses an impressive catch rate against tight coverage. RAC monster courtesy of size and speed. Effective in using free arm to create additional space and maximize RAC opportunities. Contact balance vs. arm tackles is superb, runs through soft challenges and creates a lot of extra yards on his own after the catch.
3rd round- Amani Hooker, S, Iowa- While Hooker lacks the initial burst and range to play in single high, he's strong in Cover-2 and in shallow zones thanks to terrific football IQ, clean footwork for sudden transitions and good ball skills. Effective block shedding from the slot to blow up screens and impact the run. Hooker should be a starter who can be a true asset both vs. the run and pass. Should transition quickly thanks to football IQ.Confident in ability to pass off route stems but also quick to identify teammates in a bind and hold his water a little longer. Quick and nimble in between zones and shows wonderful anticipation. Ball hawk. Peripheral vision allows for the minor adjustments on the fly to feel routes developing and begin his creep into the catch point, which helps boost impact and marginalize his lack of a true elite explosive first step.
4th round- Michael Jackson, CB, Miami- Michael Jackson has attractive qualities as a potential starter in the NFL. Jackson's size and physicality at the line will serve him well on the boundary.Jackson needs to play press-man coverage in order to properly illustrate his strengths. Quick to rip down the ball carrier in wrap up situations and has provided ample amount of pop when provided a free run to ball carriers or receivers on the boundary. Quick to rip down the ball carrier in wrap up situations and has provided ample amount of pop when provided a free run to ball carriers or receivers on the boundary.Has made several excellent interceptions throughout his career, will locate the football late in the rep and show strong hand-eye coordination. Plays through the hands of receiver at the catch point, has dislodged several targeted balls that could have been caught.Physical. Like his re-route ability at the LOS to filter his receiver up the field effectively and transition into the trail position. Looks to pin and squeeze receivers into the boundary in efforts to diminish throwing windows. Comfortable playing with back to the ball.
4th Round- Lamont Gaillard, C, Georgia- Gaillard's lateral mobility suggests he's best served playing in a gap/power system, he's more effective playing forward than side to side. Gaillard has a nice anchor and the needed functional strength to eat up power rushes on the interior while sustaining pocket integrity for his quarterback Dude is a brick house, he's super sturdy and build well to bump bellies with the big dudes. Not often he'll lose a battle against a bull rush. -He'll walk back power rushes effectively after eating hands early on in his set. He's not able to showcase a lot of quickness laterally so keeping him in tight spaces will help protect him from delayed blitzes designed to stretch protection. Dude works the slingshot technique like nobody's business. He's pretty astute with his hands and knows how to torque and leverage bodies to ensure his assignment is walked out of the play appropriately. Good continued effort work for additional leverage. He's really strong and his frame, natural leverage and mass below the waist allow him to absorb a lot of power blows and re-anchor himself after conceding a yard or two of space. It's rare to see him blown off the ball. Works combination blocks really well and shows a good comprehension of navigating defensive fronts and setting himself up with eyes in the right place. His issues athletically are amplified by some impatience and urgency to strike and land contact.
5th round- Sione Takitaki, LB BYU- enough football IQ to warrant a role as a starter if team depth dictated as much. Takitaki is a physical banger who flies around the field, bringing positive energy and the needed physicality to be an effective close quarters, gap plugging LB. His issues stem from passive angles in space and his reads in zone coverage, so it's likely he'll be an early down linebacker for most teams. He's a zone only option in pass coverage and even then he doesn't show a lot of anticipatory traits to sink and shade himself into route stems as you'd like to see. He's fearless. He's got the right attitude to find a way to make an impact, wouldn't bet on him to miss making a 53-man roster. He's physically stout and has some explosive qualities to him in linear situations to really set the tone with his pads at first contact. Love his closing burst to the football. Once he's established a beat on the ball he can be very quick to drive and close down space. He offers adequate wingspan to wrap and finish. He's eager to get in on hits and not afraid to pop into a pile. Will look to attack blockers with aggressiveness but he doesn't use his hands all that effectively and as a result he's get stuck on the block. He's wired to embrace contact and at times he'll over-commit to blowing up a block instead of being aware that the ball is present.
5th round- Shareef Miller, Edge, Penn State- Shareef Miller has some requisite skills that can be useful if properly developed. Miller's lack of block stacking skills and style as a slashing defender likely make him an OLB in an odd front, where he'll be given more space to operate and use his quickness to defeat blockers. He's got plenty of range. When he's isolated in space he does bring the needed scrape ability and burst to the sideline to make sure guys don't get the corner on him. His short area quickness flashes on inside stunts to come crashing through gaps. He prefers to get after guys with speed, but once his initial rush up the field doesn't provide any answers he's pretty easily eliminated unless the passer flushes out into his secondary effort path. Poor timing with his hands to create missed punches is a big looming hurdle to clear.
6th round- Damarkus Lodge, WR, Mississippi- DaMarkus Lodge is the least heralded of the three Ole Miss wide receivers, but if you told me in a few years he’d be the best of the group, I wouldn’t be surprised. Lodge is the most polished and pro-ready of the trio, from his bevy of releases against press coverage to his body control along the boundary and his blocking on the perimeter. The peak plays from Lodge are incredible, due to both his exceptional ball skills and blazing speed, but he has to become a more consistent finisher in the air and cut down on the drops. There will also be a learning curve for him as a route runner thanks to Ole Miss’ system, but Lodge has all the traits and refined technique to reach a tremendous peak in the NFL. Super tough, super physical. Strong in his routes, physical in his releases and a high-effort blocker. Competes for any ball in his vicinity. Doesn’t loaf and runs every route hard, even when running corners off in the run game. Terrific blocker who gets his hands inside, sinks his hips and runs his feet through contact. Physical and aggressive, takes his blocking seriously and often drives his opponent to the boundary. Will look for work in YAC situations by his fellow teammates. Strength in this area should translate to early playing time. Extremely polished in his releases against press coverage, can manipulate corner’s hips with quick footwork and a sudden burst in the other direction. Uses stretch and skip releases to force corners to open up or commit their feet, then blows by them in a flash. Attacks off coverage with tremendous burst off the line of scrimmage, forcing corners to open up early and then breaking back to the ball he makes acrobatic catches outside of his frame with amazing body control, especially along the boundary. Seamless adjustments to off-target and back shoulder throws as well. But the drops can be totally debilitating to his game, usually in simple catch situations. One of the major things holding his game back from really taking off.
7th round- Bryce Love, RB, Stanford- Stanford RB Bryce Love projects most favorably as part of a stable of backs, his lack of durability is a significant barrier to featured success. -Highly elusive runner with skill in setting up tacklers in the alleyway to take false steps and miss. Lateral quickness is superb, capable of cutting or bouncing suddenly into the sideline. Second gear is tremendous...when healthy. Control of hips and feet allow for sudden cuts and shifts in his weight. Has the physical ability to carry speed through cuts as well although discipline to press forward is not always consistent.
7th round- Sutton Smith, OLB/EDGE, N. Illinois- Sutton Smith's NFL project can go one of two ways: Smith can be used as a pass rush specialist and special teams ace, or he can convert to linebacker and utilize his short area quickness, effective hand counters and football instincts on the second level. Smith has the functional athleticism to play in space and often rushed off the edge from a stand-up position. His ceiling is a starting off-ball linebacker with quality pass rush contributions.Range and ability to flow are both high quality features. Shows a lot of skill in pressing his pace and accelerating in lateral situations, offers a ton of value pressing to the boundary or scraping with the play. Short area quickness to dart and flash across face of blockers is strong.–Savvy player. Knows how to temper his initial challenges and create angles and avenues for himself to help mask deficiencies as a pass rusher. Has shown promise in a potential position swap.Motor runs exceptionally hot. Is a "lead by example" player in the box and shows little to no fear for bigger bodies in his path Predominant speed and finesse rusher, isn't going to long-arm opponents or convert a lot of speed to power. Does show effective shedding techniques prior to contact and has a lot of success attacking blockers at the wrist to break up punches before contacting his chest. Rolls out of his stance with ease and will challenge tackles from wide angled rushes. Carries speed very well through his turns and plays at a high rate of speed. Lateral quickness is equally impressive from flat footed stance, is a jittery defender in tight spaces and quick from the jump.

Greedy Williams keeps falling. I doubt he falls that far but on the off one in a million chance he does do the giants settle on a pair of dbs in this draft?
