Damn, that sucks for him in so many ways. I wish him a speedy recovery and hopefully he gets to play for a team that knows how to use him better next year. *I think he’s hoping for the same thing as well.

They really need to replace that damn turf. With the amount they're paying injured players for not being on the field, it's gotta be more cost effective to just replace it.
And the reason I'm only bring up the $$$ is because you know that's all the owners are concerned with.

What God did Joe Judge piss off? The God of Common Sense? We have so many WRs or other DBs who could be returning punts rather than your star safety and highest paid player. Jason Sehorn

I thought he was playing really well this past weekend too.
You could see the torque on the knee during that tackle. I was surprised he was reaching for his ankle. I don't think Jabrill ever looked dynamic enough on returns to risk injury there.

Reminds me of Jason Sehorn and that dipstick of a HC we had. Having your freakish starting safety returning kickoffs in a pre-season game. That is the style of this franchise and most employees take on the personality and style of their leader. There is only one common thread in this discussion.

He's far from are star safety and three players make more than him in the secondary...Ryan,Jackson and Bradberry all make twice the money that Peppers makes

Not exactly sure what happened with him this year, as he did struggle more with the pass a bit this year and he clearly wasn't getting as much playing time. And it's not as McKinney's game was the reason.

It's a shame, he was one of the fiery players on the team. I think he's one of the guys that keeps everyone else's head in the game.

Coaches like Joe Judge need to realize that special teams is a side show in the modern NFL. It is not “one third of the game” as coaches used to commonly refrain. The league has done all they can to neuter special teams situations. It is time for coaches to accept this and to stop putting starters at risk for things like returns.

Football players play football and get hurt. Its the NFL. Sucks but it is what it is. John Ross is sitting there doing not much on the bench and he's waaay faster. Did it really make sense for Peppers to be returning kicks? Imagine if they put Toney back there.

I didn't think he was anything special as a returner and was confused why some of the other fast shiftier players weren't doing it.
