Look at these QBs we're playing. The defense will play well against these QBs and John Mara will be fooled into thinking this team is any good.
Tua Tagovailoa
Justin Herbert
Dak Prescott
Jalen Hurts
Andy Dalton/Justin Fields
Taylor Heinicke

Tua Tagovailoa Justin Herbert Dak Prescott Jalen Hurts Andy Dalton/Justin Fields Taylor Heinicke The Giants won't be playing any QBs. Teams play teams, it's not fantasy football. The schedule gets easier for sure but the Giants aren't playing GB (or TB) and that's about the only teams in the league where you may feel the QB is the ultimate difference maker.

Dak & Herbert are the only 2 I can see us having trouble with, the rest should be beatable. We just have to find a way to at least beat Dallas or LA.

We scored 13 points against them and relied on Reagor doing his best Evan Engram impression.
Every QB on that list is scoring more than 13 points against us. How good are the defenses that we are playing and can our line block anyone?

Heās going to be 71, nothing will save him if he has no plans to return.
The rest of the season is about Judge's future.

Tua Tagovailoa Justin Herbert Dak Prescott Jalen Hurts Andy Dalton/Justin Fields Taylor Heinicke Easyā¦.you might offend some Daniel Jones fans considering some, if not most, of those QBās are doing better than Jones. Heinicke has more TDās, less INTās, a higher completion percentage and an overall better rating. I donāt care to hear the excuses, a dude who was sitting in math class and got a call to come start for the Washington Football Team a week later shouldnāt be doing better than the 6th overall pick under any circumstance. Back to your point though, I somewhat agree. I think Gettleman will still retire but just like last year when we beat a bunch of crappy teams at the end, Mara and homers talked about āprogressā and āimprovementā so there will be lot of people fooled into thinking weāre just a few tweaks away from being a competitive playoff team next year. These are the same people who think we had a good game yesterday after getting 4 turnovers and still having worse offensive stats than Philthy. These are the same people that think our defense played well yesterday while ignoring how Philthy ran all over us and still almost beat us with two dropped passes in the end zone at the end of the game, one which was completely uncontested. Itās great to be happy about beating Philthy under any circumstance but itās another to believe this is a good team after a game like that regardless if we won.

If we beat Dallas, everyone's job will be saved. I hope Gettleman falls on his sword and moves to a different position in the org. He does not necessarily need to be fired. I also would not mind having Reese come in to consult on picks.... he knew how to build an OL to some extent. say what you want about Reese but he had two superbowls and he contributed to Accorsi's picks. No way he gets handed the job if that isn't the case. Even Reeses draft busts are now coming into their own. If we had Pugh and Flowers at Guard right now, we'd be pretty good.

As we saw yesterday, our offense is still running in quick sand. The idea that a few days of preparation got us that abysmal production is laughable. Our garbage man for an OC is no different than our previous OC. Only difference is, we used different formations. And did a lot of pre snap motion. Our offense until proven otherwise, will be the death of our season.

All of those QBs are dangerous including Hurts who I enjoy making fun of. No easy games in the NFL.
with the leaks the Gettleman may be gone, I suspect he may be gone. He's had a long career, may want to retire at this point anyway.

Don't know if we beat L.A. or Dallas but these teams do have brain farts and look bad for a single game. The other teams are just as crap as us and we could win every one of those games. Now does 7-8 wins save the day for everyone/anyone ? Does this save the day for Dave to draft the players for this potential powerful draft he has put together ? Dave might have an argument for 1 more year, which would bring Judge and Jones along with him I would think.

Our offense blows. They will lose games, including the game @philly in a few weeks.

This game did not show me that the Giants got better, just showed the Eagles are worse than they appeared. False hope. This guy gets it. I came across one thing after yesterdayās game, the Eagles are putting quarterback on their Christmas list. Hurts was horrible yesterday, and thanks to him and that back up center. We benefited from it. To think the Eagles wanted this guy, and traded Wentz away to keep him shows that they donāt know what the hell theyāre doing over there.

Gettleman isn't coming back regardless of the outcome of these games. I think he will "retire" at the end of the season win, lose, or draw.

Dave is retiring after this season no matter what. He's got health issues. Been saying this for awhile now.
As for the list of QB's we are facing.....there will be no easy wins for us. If any. Our offense is abysmal.

Gettleman is gone after this season...regardless.
The Giants could win every one of those games, and they could lose every one. My guess is they probably go 3-3 at best.

I don't pay any attention to the gameday thread, it's all emotion and no logic. It exists only as a pressure release valve. I'll accept your "I told you so now" and promise to feel sufficiently chastened. No need for you to waste your time finding one or two out of context posts that are an international flight, two cab rides and a 15 minute walk to relevance. I think the record gets him gone either way - he either "retires" with a playoff team or he "retires" with a team that had a horrible record under his watch.
