JM will screw this one up like everything else.
I think the most likely is that he fires no one.
Next would be DG fired alone leaving the next GM with someone else's HC.
I doubt it would be just Judge but JM is capable of something that stupid.
The right pick would be firing both but that is the least likely imo.

Remember, this poll is "who will" not "who should JM fire"

The entire FO org should be revamped, not just DG. Brother Chris, everyone...

Gettelman will get the Coughlin treatment.

Gettelman will get the Coughlin treatment. That would leave JM selecting another GM who has no control over his first HC here. It is feeling like Mara family deja vu all over again!

They will hire a new GM who will agree to give JJ one more year.

Gettelman will get the Coughlin treatment. That would be embarrassing. At least Coughlin won 2 SB's. Gettleman doesn't even have a winning record and has left this team in cap hell.

...to mask his own failings as "ceo?" Gettleman will be gone and the only question is who will replace him and what does that mean for Judge and his staff?
I can see Mara looking to bring in someone with a history with Judge, like Dave Ziegler from the Pats.

The Patriots system has yet to work outside of New England. If we bring in another chump from the Patriots, we’re only continuing the definition of insanity. We can’t do what the Jets did, with firing the GM. And keeping the head coach. The two should be attached to the hip, for better or worse.

And if he’s not from Mississippi State, it’s going to come from the Patriots organization. And Bill Belichick isn’t coming here to save us..

No good GM will take over this team without control of a coaches decision as well as a QB decision.

And if he’s not from Mississippi State, it’s going to come from the Patriots organization. And Bill Belichick isn’t coming here to save us.. I talked about this in another thread. The best way to do it IMO is fire DG now, keep Judge in 2022, and give the next GM extremely generous fine print in his contract in 2022. Basically red shirt the GM. The sole responsibility that would rest on him would be the draft and what happens in FA whether digging out of the hole DG put us in or getting depth to build on. Judge should not have any say in the GM. It's not his job. Its the job of a GM to have a say in a HC however IMO. So once the GM gets the details, he will have the power to fire Judge if it fails again next season and move on from DJ after 2022 without any negative impact to the GMs status. It would just be him undoing the mess DG left behind, and he starts fresh in 2023 with a say in the HC and new QB. I do believe that would be the best way to get a serious GM from outside in the building. A "free pass" year.
