How is it a conspiracy theory if the facts all start with a single event? Chris Mara's rise within the organization in 2011. Is it a coincidence that the entire franchise went into chaos shortly after his appointment to senior VP of PP? How is it same exact problems no matter who the HC and GM are never go away. Conspiracies are mostly based on smoke . There is fire here. TEM with all do respect and I am not saying Chris Mara is or isn't the problem. But the problem with the Giants started way before 2011, they had a solid team and nucleus 2006 2007, the trouble with drafting started as early as 2008 or 2009. You don't just get bad in a year, 2012 wheels started falling off the guys from that 2007 nucleus were old and the draft didn't yield their replacements, it has been bad since 2008 the earliest and 2009 the latest as far as drafting goes. That is 13 or 14 years, the problem starts 3 or 4 years before the losing starts when the existing talent is no longer effective. my thoughts exactly

This sounds like Carl kissing up to management you know he’s an employee of the Giants so I take any opinion of people employed by Mara with a grain of salt. The same Banks that just said this a few days ago? "My wish, and I'm not telling the fans, I'm telling the player, coaches, figure it the f--- out," Bank said. "When there are plays to be made, make the f---ing play. Be intentional about your assignment. Value every possession like you won't get another one because you don't when you don't execute. Just know the assignment."
Banks was extremely critical of the Giants' effort and called it "one of my lowest moments as a former Giant, as a fan, as a broadcaster. Operationally, [Joe Judge has] got a lot to fix. These delay of game calls, the planning of how to operate in certain situations, it just seems that they miss it every week."
The former All-Pro linebacker had plenty of blame to go around and said that the "entire operation is broken."Well doesn’t this prove my point he’s back tracking…maybe they were mad about what he said and his trying to kiss ass.

He'd quit before he ever kissed up to management to push their propaganda. I believe he used the term “organizational “ to share blame but if you here him he’s mostly criticizing the players and Joe Judge.

They failed to replace alot of the big names that were getting old. I remember hearing that KG begged Reece to start addressing the line after the '09 season. Fell on deaf ears.

For years I had listened to him on the broadcast he is straight forward and is as brutally honest he isn't cutting anyone slack if he says nothing that says a lot. One of the things I like about Pappa and Banks they aren't ass kissing homers.

But we will never hear criticism of the Mara family from Carl Banks, no matter how obvious their failings are. Nor would I expect to. They are friends and there is a high level of respect between them. Honestly, Carl would come across as an idiot if he suddenly started slagging the Maras in the press.

You never bite the hand that feeds you. Carl as honest and real as he is, he’s still employed by the NY Giants.

The farthest he goes is no comment. I don't believe he would defend Chris Mara if he didn't think he was a solid personnel guy. That said I believe what you said is true just think if he doesn't like whats going on it would be a no comment.

Well doesn’t this prove my point he’s back tracking…maybe they were mad about what he said and his trying to kiss ass. No it doesn’t actually. The two quotes from Banks are mutually exclusive to one another. Hey Banks is a company man it’s what most of us know the thought of him speaking out against the Giants is unusual but my take from it is he’s going after Judge and the players more than his boss John Mara.

Idk, the whole Banks take? Imo, he’s weird. Every time he speaks it’s as if he has some deep insight yet nothing is ever said. It’s like his Knicks. For years we knew the stunk and he’s preaching in a different direction. You were wrong Carl, you weren’t even close. The tears he shed for Eli didn’t help either.
He’s a company man and b/c played and was a hero we listen. He speaks but he really doesn’t say anything. Taylor is just the opposite. Mention Jones to him and he says “who?” . . . oh yeah i never watch the Giants. Yeah, bs, he knows exactly what he’s saying and those who have listened to LT for decades know what he means.
