And release Kyle Rudolph. I am honestly unsure if we should just keep him...on the fence. He’s slow as molasses. Another year older and he’ll start running backwards on the field.

You're the best!! Who cares this hasn't come close to materializing these past 4 years but this is going to be the year!! YEAH If other teams are able to build solid to good olines so can we. Just saying we did not do it for the last 4 years is not an excuse not to do it next season. They BETTER try next season just like them and half the league have been trying.. Trying doesn't come close to achieving..

He has been productive except while playing here with Jones hw has talent. His issues are not about QB in my opinion. His issues is he gets some of the lowest separation numbers in the NFL and he is not going to get faster heading towards 30 years old. I love good wide receivers. I was happy we signed him despite previous warnings about separation which has declined further. I just do not think he is worth 21.5 mill in cap room for the next 3 seasons. I'd rather admit my mistake and stop the bleedings ASAP. You guys are acting like he got some of the best separation in the league, well he didn't. He has always made his game with contested jump balls, typically against single coverage. Now on the Giants, they double him and force us to beat teams with Rudolph, Pharoe Cooper, and Slayton... seems like a pretty easy philosophy to me. We have no viable offensive threats, without a half-decent OL (Outside of Thomas) we can't run, our WR Corp is a joke, Engram is painfully inconsistent, we're just an overall mess on offense.... At least Andrew Thomas and KT show promise

Not sure about cutting Bradberry and Martinez. I guess it would depend on the offseason...but the rest of that list is a no brainer. None of them make the team better. I love Shepherd, but he clearly can't stay on the field which is a shame.

At least Andrew Thomas and KT show promise I'm not seeing him doubled more than any other starting WR. Often it is less. I'm also not seeing him win these 50-50 jump balls. Most importantly I do not think we should be paying 20 mill a year to a guy that can not get open. That is not a great plan in my opinion. I was happy we signed him but he has been a big let down. That does not even take in to account his disinterest and laziness on some plays. I'm willing to admit my mistake.

Colin Johnson? CJ Board? I would like to see him win MORE 50/50's, but I'm not ready to cut him after 1 season, that just sounds crazy to me. How can you call him out on disinterest and laziness, those are 2 non tangible factors, well unless you spoke to him personally

It was not that long ago one of the announcers called KG out when he showed no interest in blocking for KT on a play.

22 million to keep Bradberry? dam*.
Not a bad player but he looks a step or two too slow to play man-to-man. 22 million feels steep for the level of play were are getting...there is a reason why Graham prefers zone for this team.

We don't need $42M in camp space. The goal isn't to outspend everyone in free agency every offseason. Between Martinez and Bradberry, you could extend both and save enough money to fund the 2022 season. We'll save some more by cutting Shepard. A few moves could create enough operating room to sign draft picks and make a couple moves. I don't expect any big signings. I tend to agree with this Mike but one possibility is trading for a vet QB. It could be Carr....or Wilson....or......... That would require the clearing of a lot of cap space.

And giving up a lot of draft capital as well. Suppose Wilson signals he wants The GInts…Seattle is eyeing both of our #1’s this year…and then some. That’s a lot of pain to put a QB out there on. Team we all agree is lacking talent in several critical areas.

Team we all agree is lacking talent in several critical areas. at this juncture, given the overall state of the team, I would not give up the draft capital for a proven QB. He will also fail miserably with our other offensive "weapons". We need to get the O Line right, and bolster our pass rush or we will go no-where. Until his neck injury, I was of the opinion that we should simply roll with DJ next year for the economics of it, but if he is unable to play it does throw a monkey wrench into that. I'd still probably go with a much lower priced journeyman for the year.
