It’s going to be tough if every goalie plays the game of their life against us. It’s early we will figure it out. Eh that's just another day in the office for Sorokin.

It’s going to be tough if every goalie plays the game of their life against us. It’s early we will figure it out. They've played some hot goalie, no doubt but Sorokin is a damn good goalie. I hate Lou Lamarillo but he builds damn good hockey clubs. Which of course why I dislike him, because he's done it with both the Islanders and Devils. Two things I've noticed about this Rangers team, one they are not playing good defensive hockey, they leave the goalie to fend for him self far too often. Two, they are creating good opportunities but they are shooting pucks straight at goalies. Lafreniere had a great opportunity early but rushed it, and shot it right at the goalie. I'm seeing way too much of that early.

Tough game to watch.
Early in the season can only be said for so long before it becomes an issue.
Defensively we don't look as good as we need to be and offensively, we seem to be incapable of shooting where the goalie is not... That is after we connect on any passes. Was it me or did it seem like the Rangers kept losing the puck on passes and handling. Fanned a lot too on shots and passes.

Nice rebound game today. Big 3rd. Hopefully keep it going. Shesterkin isn’t quite the wall he was last year so far.

Nice rebound game today. Big 3rd. Hopefully keep it going. Shesterkin isn’t quite the wall he was last year so far. No but our defense isn't as tight either though. Miller has looked suspect at times and so has Fox. Not sure what happened to Oettinger but having him out of the net didn't hurt us. Glad we kept going after the guy that ran into Igor. And Kravtsov is going to be out for a while. Not sure what he was thinking on that play he got hurt. Haven't seen much from him to be honest. All in all, it was a good win and strong 3rd period. We needed a strong 60-minute performance against a good team and that's what we got. We weren't our best but closer to that than we have been lately.

Good win against Arizona on a back-to-back.
Still see more than a few unforced errors by our players.
Igor was solid in the 3rd and we were able to get the game winner.
This seems like a common theme so far this season where the starting goalie plays out of his mind against us, but we managed to get the win.
Next four games will be a test, philthy, Boston, isles, with a game against Detroit mixed in.

I appreciated them tonight. Watched the Giants, flipped over to the Knicks 4th quarter debacle. I appreciate the Rangers getting it done. Breadman is playing out of his mind and that deflection pass from Kreider to Mika tonight🤯

Thank goodness they pulled that out. That had gut punch 1-0 loss written all over it. Only 19 saves by Shesty, but those 2 stops on Hayes were as good as it gets in the last 2 minutes. They beat Hart 4 times, too bad each one in regulation hit a post.

Either that, or they have some serious rare earth magnets embedded in the pucks...

Terrible 3rd period so far tonight.
Why Igor didn't freeze that soft shot that led to Boston's 3rd goal or why our players were just coasting back on the 4th goal makes me question this team's heart.
2 goals that could have been stopped with some effort plus the softy Igor allowed in the 1st... Not a good night against the best team in the league currently.
Thought we had something going in the 2nd but seems the plan in the 3rd was to forget everything we did well the period before.
Shame because it would've been a statement to convincingly beat Boston after taking the cryers out.

It’s tough in Hockey being continuously short cycled. Not an excuse, just reality. My only real disappointment was that nobody ever paid Pasternak back for that BS.

Yea that was frustrating to lose him to a blatant cheap shot. I hadn’t considered that because we came out so much better in the second after that happened. Maybe they wore down. We’ll see how they respond next game.

It made sense that the D was weak in the 3rd. At the same time our Captain can’t allow Coyle to outmuscle him on the doorstep either. That entire play showed a D that was a step slow.

Hard to win a game if the refs are going to f*** you raw with no Vaseline. First the penalty call on Chiytl that allowed the tying PP was imaginary. Then right before the goal that gives the lead away a BLATANT trip on Kakko and no call, 4 seconds later 4-3.

Game shouldn't come down to those calls.
No excuse for allowing a 3-1 lead to evaporate like that.
We're not a good team right now. We are in fact a bad team. This team needs to wake up and stop believing the offseason hype because as of this moment we are middle of the pack or worse. We have consistently failed to match our opponent's intensity and hard work for all 60 minutes.
Still early November but the signs are not good if 1) You don't play hard all 60 minutes and 2) you continue with the fancy pass happy BS instead of hammering the puck at the net at every opportunity.

I agree they've been weak defensively all year and Shesterken has not been all that sharp. They have way too many lapses. The Isles are a good team, they played 60.

We were so due for a period like that 3rd.
About time we just hammered away at the net like that.
I really think putting the "kids" back together on a line was a big part of our success. We should keep the lines we had tonight.

Glad they won last night. Sometimes it feels like this team is allergic to the back of the net. It’s hard to explain the performance of other goalies too. Reimer is one of the leagues worst hands down and he looked like the 2nd coming of Patrick Roy last night. Craziness.

Lost a lot of character and grit this past off-season. Right Wing is a problem too. Hoping Kakko remains a Ranger but man, you have to do more. Laf is more talented yet needs to score more too. Might be a Mika situation where it took him a while to really develop. Kravtsov? Nothing

You know... Last night was a win and I'm happy about that but man... Did you all see that empty net goal we scored at the end, the one that was the game winner?
Thank you, Fox, for shooting at the damn net. I've never seen 3 or more passes before a shot attempt on an empty net ever in my life.
A lot of season left and we're in the thick of it but I really wish we would tighten up defensively a little better when we have the lead.
