So, we are trying to create a culture in NYG right? Thats why Toney was out. Does this not only violate the contract, but also the culture Schoen is trying to create? Would Daboll punish XM here, less severely than if it was a backup? If so, does that create a rift? This is how I feel about the situation, outside of him violating the contract part of it. Thats pretty bad. |

We have no way of knowing how it happened. I'm not going to knock a guy for having fun on the bye week doing an activity people often do. If it comes out that he was doing something dumb while partaking in this activity, I'll change my tune.
Until then, it sucks, and if he violated his contract by even riding an ATV, then it's a real learning experience for the young fella.

I’m sure sure some people will say “he’s just a kid, let him live his life”. I’m no saint nor that smart but I guarantee that if I were in his position I would be like Costanza wearing oven mitts for the hand modeling job. What a f’in dumbass. i’ve had to grow up, be responsible and make personal sacrifices to keep my job for the past 20 years but this dumb **** can’t make a smart decision with one week off of work (which should be a full time job). Normally I agree with you man, but these “kids” are and should be held to a different standard. I’m no saint but I was forced to get my shit together to get the job I wanted and still have to make personal sacrifices to keep my job. There’s tons of things I still want to do but I can’t because if I **** myself up than ai can’t work (in a nutshell). I don’t even have millions of dollars riding on the line. Put your life on hold for a 5-10 years (when most people do it for 30-40 years), get paid, do your job and kick back and relax for the rest of your life when your in your early 30’s. It’s just stupidity. I made more responsible decisions as a 14 year old (and worse) but at 23 I had to prioritize my career over my wants, still do. |
