Hope everybody is watching some combine. The before free agency edition I'm hitting the draft strengths with this draft and damn, this draft allowed me to hit need and talent and I believe I get a A+ grade. Well, at least before they all become busts. I'm not doing QB here, although I truly believe the Giants will dance if they get a partner and move up. 13: R1 P13 OT Taliese Fuaga - Oregon State The more tape I watch on the OL prospects, the more sure he might be OT2 or 3... and become an all pro. Sure he is a RT, but if you seriously believe that is a deal breaker, you play fantasy football too much. This kid is skilled and savage. Another talented tackle I have been impressed watching film...also with savage abilities is Kingsley Suamataia. Neal has to be moved to LG and now we need another for the right side. I assume we at least attempt to sign Onwenu, but money talks at an auction and what exactly is our limit? If that's the case, we hit the draft that is loaded and nail.... 39: R2 P7 G Jackson Powers-Johnson - Oregon Pro bowl, plug and play brick in the wall two. The right side just got nasty and mean, with all pro, pro bowl potential in skill. Even Barkley could find a hole with that poor vision. Speaking of, let him walk. My line allows for 4 yards a carry. We acquire these 2, and Neal thrives, or at least goes slightly below average vs worse in the league we become a beast OL. 44: R2 P12 CB Ennis Rakestraw Jr. - Missouri This kid translates to starting CB in the NFL. We need one. He is a press master and is glue. 47: R2 P15 WR Adonai Mitchell - Texas I don't believe we are lacking wide receivers as badly as some fantasy fans believe.... but two fell into my lap, or was that my cheerios, due to this draft being sickening deep at WR. Here is our X. 70: R3 P6 WR Ricky Pearsall - Florida ...and here is the best hands. Anybody who watches college football remembers when he told OBJ to hold his beer? Middle of the field, crushed, targeted and that catch ...can watch it 100 times. 77: R3 P13 S Kamren Kinchens - Miami 107: R4 P7 DL Darius Robinson - Missouri 142: R5 P6 RB Jaylen Wright - Tennessee 182: R6 P7 TE Dallin Holker - Colorado State TRADES Trade Partner: Las Vegas Raiders Sent: Round 1 Pick 6 Received: Round 1 Pick 13 Round 2 Pick 12 Round 3 Pick 13

Add in another 2nd and 3rd then I would be copacetic Of course not....these generators sometimes offer and sometimes don't. I just take the first one close enough to not "reach" for Fuaga and gain an extra second. You learn each big board and some big boards have simply not caught up with the scouting community. The Buffalo board is usually a bit better with the top 100. Fuaga will probably be top 10 when all is said and done. Just having fun...gives me a break from reading the Jones great, Jones sucks threads that pop up every day with the same words. I can guarantee one thing doing these...I will not be right. Some of the top 100 or so I have not watched any tape yet, nor will I unless a Kase or somebody posts someone he/she likes and then I look at some video, tape, film. I usually am redundant in many picks, because I am impressed with the college games I watch and certain players stand out there. I loved Toney the player because I watched him every Saturday...so who really knows? The Giants need a QB after next year. We also need to win next year. We are paying a lot for Daniel Jones to play next year. He will start. Early evaluations suggest no Andrew Luck in next year's draft. This year? Reach or wait? We need to get the OL finally right. In all honesty I have no idea what we are going to do. I believe we should shoot our load and get a QB. But, this is the year we might finally get the OL right the talent is so great. Evan Neal left me concerned with our scouting. I don't understand the posts suggesting no to an age 30 Mike Evans if available because we can get an X at pick 6, and the same people suggest getting Mike Onwenu and paying him so we don't need a OT at 6. Tackles are more important than receivers, and this class and every year, we get good ones in later rounds. Tackles? They are reached for. This year is rare. This is going to be the most interesting free agent and draft I can recall...so many directions and jobs on the line.

Yeah, he's west coast arm type QB with an average arm, but he's also had to deal with a brutal line, and a lot of coaching changes. Seems no middle ground around here regarding him. Personally, I believe he's a goner just from injury alone, and take those legs away?... he's a dumbed down version of Chad Pennington. IMHO of course.

I liked JJ as Michigan's QB, but I have no idea what type of NFL QB he will be. JJ just doesn't seem like a Schoen pick at 6, because he certainly won't be the highest rated player on the board at 6 and a desperation QB pick is how we got into our current situation. I feel like Schoen will take a swing to move up for Daniels or Maye, but if he misses, he will take one of the WR's at 6 (Odunze or Nabors). If he doesn't get the QB he wants, I could see him moving back a few spots if he thinks he can still get one of the WR's.

Do you believe we are going into next year with Jones if he fails to acquire a QB? If reports are true they are contacting Wilson, and Rich Eisen is truthful as I do believe he is.... Daniel Jones starting next year at some point can get real ugly real fast...well past the uncomfortable silence to begin his high pressure post ACL debut. IMHO, he almost has to take a swing at a QB at this point.

But if he falls to the 2nd, sure Id take a shot on him. If we dont score a QB in the draft this year, I have a feeling we will have to sell the farm next year to get our QB of the future. Doesnt sound like there are too many top notch QBs in the draft next year, so to get one we would have to move to the top of the draft, who knows, we might wind up there regardless of a trade, but I hope not

Personally, I think he's going to be top 10, 15 at worst for him. Not sure he's worth that slot, but that seems to be the narrative at this juncture, and QBs are typically way overdrafted.

I like what I see. The good, the bad and the overall not ugly .38 / 3.25 Missed tackle later in the game fending off a downfield block but nothing too ugly I got the vibe they were trying to throw away from him after the TD breakup at 38 seconds on. He would be an easy pass, pun fun, with Wink as I see him doing strict zone on this breakdown, but he has excellent vision with some good size. Nice 6th round developmental player with potential starting corner grades...

Personally, I think Neal would be a STELLAR guard, but if the FO doesn't see it that way then there's no reason to draft an OT at 6. ...IF I did go Joe Alt at 6, I'd go Malachi Corley in the 3rd and see what RBs are available in the 4th I'm a big fan of Dillon Johnson from Washington, don't get why he isn't getting the hype others are

I'm sensing a major QB move by the Giants that will have some fans puking, and others dancing on those puke lined floors...

I think I'd puke if we made that trade in the 1st round. Personally, I just don't think any of the QBs in this draft are worth that kind of capital. I'm sensing a major QB move by the Giants that will have some fans puking, and others dancing on those puke lined floors... there's a lot of time between now and next years draft class, and while the QB prospects don't lool phenomenal at this juncture, you never know how the college season will play out, and we still don't know where we'll be picking yet either, hopefully not in top 10.... That's why I take one this year. The longer that distance between you at the 1 pick, the less likely that probable QB needy team will trade with you, and the amount of future top assets needed to part with become unimaginable. For a probable fail. We got 4 acceptable prospects this year, and we got pick 6. Nolan Ryan just hung a curve ball for us...time to take the swing. Next year is hope and faith we falter, and I can't root for a team collapse for a weak QB class and another team accepting to dance with us...way too many if's. We need wins next year. This is the year to get the QB...I am 100% certain of that. If we have no partner, we try like crazy to trade out of 6 and do OL, WR and DL/CB...make the team as solid as we can. Just please say no to a WR at 6.
