so few picks and so many holes (and a long time to scroll through so many videos along with my iPad crashing on the site. Ok, we don’t need a video for every pick) #6 J.J. McCarthy QB Michigan - he dropped so why not? 47. Malachi Corley WR Western Kentucky - was hesitant to go WR but passed in Round 1 and think the plan is the OL is . . . Idk, set? 70. Kris Jenkins DT Michigan - going with genetics boys. His Dad was solid so 107. Javon Bullard S Georgia - let’s take a Georgia safety before Philly does 166. Isaiah Davis RB South Dakota State - size matters and here is a load add to the backfield 183. Khristian Boyd DT - almost went with the Baylor kid but you can’t have enough large bodies on the DT and there really is no depth. Even if he moves to the practice squad he’s too raw for others to grab him imo. I'm a fan of the draft. Corley is 1 of my favorite WRs this year, dude could be Deebo 2.0. Bullard is 1 of my favorite safeties Not sure about double dipping on DT, but it makes sense with the very light talent we have there now. Maybe a TE instead? This Waller fella is screwing up TE and i may have gone TE if it was only Bellinger and several questions marks.

I know he's had some health concerns during his college career but the kid can ball out, someone will take him way higher then that, IMO. I'd be stoked if we manage to steal him in round 5.

Just popped my mock draft cherry. Still trying to brush up on who's who, so I only did four rounds. These things never seem to be realistic but if our draft starts out anything like the below I think I'll be pretty happy.
First 5 Picks: - Caleb Williams
- Jayden Daniels
- Drake Maye
- Malik Nabers
- Marvin Harrison Jr.
If the draft were to start out this way in real life my hope would be to trade back. I wouldn't be upset with Odunze or McCarthy, but I'd prefer the additional assets.
If we do trade back and we're looking for picks this year, the most attractive trade partners in the top-15 would be the Raiders and the Saints. I went ahead and traded with the Raiders. They originally offered their 1st this year, and their 1st and 3rd in 2025. Since I don't care about 2025 in this simulation I countered with this year's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, but they declined. I then countered with this year's 1st, 2nd, and 4th, and they accepted.
My Picks: #13. Quinyon Mitchell (CB - Toledo) #44. Bo Nix (QB - Oregon) #47. Cooper Beebe (OG - Kansas State) #70. Ricky Pearsall (WR - Florida) #107. Brandon Dorlus (Edge - Oregon) #112. T'Vondre Sweat (DT - Texas)
I was torn between Mitchell and Fuaga (RT - Oregon St.) at #13. Fuaga looks like a stud and could be an ideal fit opposite Thomas. However, CB might be our biggest need outside of QB. With us having just signed Eluemenor, I went ahead and grabbed Mitchell even though I'm not the biggest fan of drafting a CB on day-1 back to back years. That said, the idea of potentially having two CB1's on their rookie contracts isn't the worst thing in the world.

A trade was presented for us to move up for Drake Maye. Since that is potentially a scenario I thought it might be fun to try and base of a mock off of that. That being said, in this trade it was only future picks so the rest of the picks we have were retained
3. Drake Maye QB North Carolina - If we’re going to give Daboll and Kafka someone to mold I think Maye would be an excellent option. He has all of the physical tools you’d want. He needs to clean some things up as every rookie does but I think he could be a very good pro QB
47. Xavier Legette WR South Carolina - Legette in round 2 makes a ton of sense after going QB round 1. Get him his new potential WR 1. Troy Franklin was there and I may actually be higher on him than Legette but I think he may be a little too similar to Hyatt so I figured Legette is in that same tier and gives us physically something this WR core definitely doesn’t have
70. Renardo Green CB Florida State - I truly don’t know why he’s rated as low as he is but I think he’s a really really solid CB. I think he’ll be one of the better value picks for a team day 2 depending on where he goes. Super smooth in coverage and had some super impressive moments this season. He would be a great young CB option to have next to Banks
107. Malik Mustapha S Wake Forest - Mustapha is a young safety who absolutely flies around and is not afraid to make a big hit. Really good tackler and would be an instant fan favorite I truly believe
166. Gabe Hall DT Baylor - Really solid DL prospect. Continue to build that interior DL depth behind Dex, Riley, and company. He would be a great day 3 get
183. Tyrone Tracy Jr. RB Purdue - Super intriguing prospect. Former WR who switched to RB. Showed some really good ability once he finally made the stretch and unlike many of the other rookies to be, he really has very little wear and tear because of this. I could see someone taking him MUCH earlier than this. He’s an older prospect than normal but definitely worth it. Obviously a weapon in the passing game out of the backfield since being a former WR but he also doesn’t run the ball like a former WR. He’s not afraid to run between the tackles

They were still able to snag JJ at 6 in the sim too so it was a win win. I don’t normally do trades though because it’s hard to make them realistic

OK, I don't do many of these but did a fun one today, dealt down twice in the 1st and once later and came away with the Raiders and Titans 2025 firsts, and the Saints 2025 2nd and these players:
14-CB Quinyon Mitchell 47-DT Jer'Zhan Newton (0% chance he's actually there) 94-OL Roger Rosengarten 100-S Dadrion Taylor-Demerson 110-WR-Jamari Thrash 166-TE Theo Johnson 181-ER Mo Kamara 183-RB Tyrone Tracy

He would be an excellent addition to our defense. These defensive picks would totally revamp our defense, we would get a clear top 2 CB, a pass rushing DT who could run wild with Dexy taking up the double teams, a ball hawking single high safety with Taylor-Demerson, and a pass rushing specialist to keep the legs fresh with Mo Kamara. I would totally be a fan of this haul JM

I had a tough time deciding between them and had an offer to deal down to 102, but I wasn't going to risk missing both for an extra 7th. So I went with DTD, but I really like both players. Which turned out smart because by 183 there were only 4 players left that were worth a draft pick. 2 were RBs, so I picked the highest upside guy. And were are stacked at the top of the 2025 draft. 5 picks in the first 2 rounds.

Everybody else is making trades so why the heck not? (Yeah, like this will happen)
The Jets called and want a OT so moved their #10, #72 and 111
10
oh my, how did he slip? Appears the Raiders moved up for Penix and the Vikings rolled back for more picks? Who knew?
J.J. McCarthy QB Michigan
51. I really need a DT/DE and worried yet this monster is on the board and we know this OL mystery isn’t solved on paper until it is on the field
Christian Haynes OG UConn
70.
Oh my, good genes slipped yet I really could use a WR. Not passing on him Kris Jenkins DT Michigan
72.
Oh yeah, I forgot I made a trade. How is he still here? Cannot pass and then I’ll get a CB
Malachi Corley WR Western Kentucky
88.
Oh, I need a CB but . . . wait. Where is the beef if Lawrence goes down or needs a breather? How about . . . too many possibilities. Let’s do it
T'Vondre Sweat DT Texas
107. Ok, now I’m going CB but, oh we need a safety.
Jaden Hicks S Washington State
111.
Playing roulette and feeling fortunate so it’s CB time . . . but Barkley is in Philly so
Blake Corum RB Michigan
166.
Hey!!!, reads here you’re pretty good. Welcome to the NY Giants
Nehemiah Pritchett CB Auburn
169.
and why are you still on the board?
Tykee Smith S Georgia
183. Linebacker U they tell me
Curtis Jacobs LB Penn State
