Was the win special? No, it wasn't. Was the win impressive? Hell yes it was. The Giants had several opportunities to just give up. When the Cardinals answered the Giants TD with another of their own to go up 28-7, I thought that was demoralizing. Instead, they kept at it and finished off the comeback. Questions about the team still remain of course. When will they beat a really formidable opponent? Until then, the questions IMO are valid. We are far from a finished product. However, I feel a lot better this Monday than I did last Monday. Go Gmen It was a solid comeback win. The next four games are brutal though.

I'd have some sympathy if Vinnie acknowledged how bad some of the Kafka's plays and play-calling were in the first half. He's clueless as are a few others here. Giants fans haven't see a good offense in many years. Kafka has to stop short passes to Barkley on the backfield as such resulted in two interceptions.

A win is a win, doesn't matter if it's vs KC or CAR, it all adds up the same in the wins column. Lol, ok, so a win on Thurs against SF is just as impressive and meaningful as a win against AZ or Houston? Not buying it. We just won our 1st game after looking like SHIT for 6 quarters of 2023 and already you're looking to rain on the parade. I'm not saying Treat this like a SB win, but it's the confidence breaker and Cherry popper that we needed and all you're looking to do is discredit it

Lol, confidence breaker who needed? If this team needed more confidence to go out and beat a QB that has been with an off season tanking team for 3 weeks then maybe they need a psychologist instead of a HC. If that game gave you confidence then good for you, it personally worried me more than I was before the game. Sorry you don’t like my opinion, put me on ignore. And I never discredited it, that’s you putting words in my mouth. What I did say is that I wasn’t impressed, if that’s raining on your parade because you were impressed than that’s your opinion. I also said we played a team that is tanking and has an O/U of 3.5 wins this season. That’s the truth, if that’s raining on your victory parade, sorry if the truth hurts. Sorry, next time I’ll be more positive and tell everyone how good they liked. We can play “make believe” that they only played one half of football.

Go watch the game and see where the Barkley passes were. They were not in the backfield and past the LOS. But I guess you knew that though and just miss spoke. The passes that resulted in picks were basic RB last read throws. Both were hitting AB as he was moving laterally or forward. Versus Dallas Jones, IMO, should have never thrown it. It was going no where and wasnt well placed. But that happens. Versus the Cards it was a well thrown short pass that Bark let slip through his hands. That happens too. You do realize that Jones has several options on each play. But you knew you that right? I mean you arent clueless are you? Yeah the whole QB throwing short passes to the RB is such a bad play call. I mean watch any game you dont see any QBs doing that any more. I realize you are a student of the game and know exactly what Kafka is doing and why he calls the plays he does....lol You need to stop with the inane BS.

After the loss to Dallas, who do you THINK needed the confidence? We got spanked by a division rival, opening day, on primetime, we NEEDED this win dude. Part of a HC job IS being a psychologist to some of these guys, its more than just x's and o's. You 'discredited' the victory by saying things like 'the Cardinals are tanking' or 'they're the worst team in the league', We should have never been that far behind, we should have never been behind at all', and 'his team showed some grit against the smallest kid in the playground' Be as pessimistic as you want, I dont care, I just think its a little much. Vinnie, no matter how much we disagree, I'll never put you on 'ignore', I dont do that.

Barkley only average 4.5 yards per catch as most plays to him were I'll-designed. Niners back averaged 6.3 yards per catch. Backfield passes should be at the sideline or before the line of scrimmage with back cutting to sideline or over the middle. Watch the Niners play, you may learn something.

Yeah, to a degree. And yes “I’m hard to impress”. We beat one team by more than 10 points and that was the tanking Colts. We beat 2 teams with a winning record. We had the lowest margin of victory other than the Vikings IIRC. Our defense was trash, our O line was trash and we won 4 of our last 11 games. Most of our wins could have gone either way whether it be a failed two point conversion, a relatively easy missed FG by the the other team, etc. Yes, every team gets wins like that but usually they don’t all go in one teams favor for an entire season which it seemed to for us. The Titans game…they handed us that win starting with two fumbles in their own territory on their first two possessions (we couldn’t even get a TD with either of them) an ending with a muffed punt deep in their own territory. Another 4 quarter comeback hand delivered to our QB! (I actually don’t remember if we were behind in the 4th but that’s another example of why it’s a bs stat). I was just never convinced they were a good team, more of a lucky team, but I attributed a lot of the success primarily to the coaching staff so that got me excited for the future. As we’ve argued about all off season, I don’t think this team will win a playoff game this year, good chance they don’t even get there, and some people (eh hem) think that means this is a worse team. I thought we would still be a better team but playing harder teams and wouldn’t get as many lucky breaks. It’s still early but based on the first two games I’m starting to slightly question if this team is actually better.

I’m not a hero, far from it, but that’s how I view life in general. Maybe it’s just an accumulation of my life experiences but I don’t see a lot of positive things on an everyday basis (far from it actually) and while I hope for the best, I rarely see it. I swear, once I retire and move out to the mountains, I’ll probably be an optimistic person if enough damage hasn’t already been done.

Maybe not, it’s still early in the season and I’ve always said I don’t put much stock into the first ~3 games UNLESS it’s a blowout and look what happened. That cows game was worse than any of us expected and although we beat AZ, it was a blowout in the first half. I’m not sold either way yet but it hasn’t looked good. I still have a shred of hope they can turn it around but they need to start with keeping it close with SF then beat teams like the Hawks, Washington, Jets, Vegas, NE, GB and NO I see all those as winnable but they need to get their shit together quick.

[ Mot surprised you like the two interceptions. Backfield passes should be at the sideline or before the line of scrimmage with back cutting to sideline or over the middle. You are legit cracking me up here.
Yes, hentai is rather well known. Yes you are naive. Depends on what you mean by deviant. If you mean literally outside the norm...yes very much so. I'm not a consumer of hentai though if that is what you mean.
