Don’t like the play call there at all. Why not? It would have worked if Waller wasn't held. Nothing wrong with the call. Loss is chalked up to poor situational management by coaches and QB.

I mean damn, that's where you run it... If we could. But the Giants haven’t been able to gain a yard in a critical down for decades. That's true but damn, you could live with it if he doesn't make it. Waller's been so ineffective in the red zone. I just have no faith in that play.

would have been better to throw it away he seems to get confused when the game is on the line seems to make the wrong choice every time. Coaching can clean that up. He showed a lot of other good things. He is serviceable.

I have to say the offensive line and the offense looked better. Don't know if it was TT or some different type of motivation but I don't mind these type of losses. Totally TT. Taylor saw every blitz coming and got the ball out quickly. DJ gets sacked 8-10 times in that game. The Bills brought pressure on almost every throw.

Well, for the few that thought Taylor was the answer .....Goodbye !!! He had a perfect throw there? The offense looked much better tonight than any 95% of the season with Jones at QB I never said he was better than Jones. Jjust he is not the answer moving forward.

Definitely holding on the last play there but not surprised it wasn't called. Was definitely surprised they called it on the play before.
Also, Hodgins looked open but I don't fault the play called. You expect your 6'6" TE to go up and get that if he isn't be held onto.
I got the feeling that look of death Daboll gave at the end there before he tossed the headset was for the refs. Could be wrong.
Bungling the end of the 1st half came back to haunt us. Different game if we're up 13-0 or even 9-0 at the half.

Why not? It would have worked if Waller wasn't held. Call was good. They interfered. Agreed. Should have been DPI but refs miss calls against both teams in every game. I’ll leave the crying and tin foil conspiracies to the weak.

I wish I didn't watch the game and just saw the box score tomorrow morning and was happy we fought hard and were competitive.
How do you come back from this... again. Daggers in the heart. A game we won last year. Should have won it.
Oh well.
Not like they were making the playoffs anyway.

I have to say the offensive line and the offense looked better. Don't know if it was TT or some different type of motivation but I don't mind these type of losses. It's sad they still could not score a TD and because we had some yards we feel better, this and Seattle were winnable games with steady OL play and decent QB play. I think Neal took some strides tonight have to watch it again a loss like this is aggravating because Waller was being held if the throw is on his hands it's a win.

The refs threw flags for everything all game but were too scared to do it on the last play I watched it again and honestly didn't see PI.

Should have, could have, this was a winable game 9 points on offense against a team like that will never get it done. It was right there for us and we didn't close the deal.

I had a lot more confidence with him out there that we wouldnt lose it with an INT on that final possession

Both that final call and the roughing-the-passer calls were egregiously bad.
Good breakdown by Collinsworth tbh.

You know full well with the game on the line the refs aren’t going to call PI twice. You complained about the play call. I just disagree and stated that it would have worked less getting held. I think a good throw hold or not he catches it the Play call was fine. I just can't stomach the not scoring TDs in a league that is tilted toward the offensive side of the ball.

Better QB play and some costly penalties but the fact we were this close to winning it and at the same time not looking like amateurs on National TV was a good feeling.
