I’m glass half full with this GM/HC regime. This year could change that. We’ve had a good year and a bad year. If the order of those years were flipped we’d be having a very different conversation today. So I’m not willing to ignore a playoff win in a 9 win year because it was 22’ instead of 23’. It means there’s been a good year and a bad year. We were already on our 2nd head coach under Getty by this time in his tenure. We’re not a good football team yet, and you can’t be a 6 win team in your 4th year and realistically keep your job. So much comes down to the o line. If it improves we may have some stability (finally) here. If it doesn’t, next year is an unquestionable hot seat year. I hope we've found some stability, because I'm tired of watching a GM, HC, Team showing movement in the right direction, and then fall off a cliff the next season. If we're trash this year, we'll be looking for another regime to bring us hope. We're looking extremely non-progressive. I truly hope the FO, makes some GREAT decisions in this draft, and we actually develop some talent and turn things around like competent franchises do.

Not going to go over their backgrounds and pedigrees yet again. They are a solid mix of old school and modern era NFL. They are solid talent evaluators and I believe once Daboll has his pieces will be a solid strategist. I dont see signing ex Bills as a negative. They clearly either had a hand in drafting them or coaching them. This board will love Singletary. NYG would not have made the playoffs in '22 without Hodgins and he is a bargain contributor. Of course there are misses, but there are plenty of GMs that would have drafted Neal and traded a late 3rd rounder for Waller. I think much like McAdoos playoff appearance, the '22 playoff win definitely set this regime back in what they want to build. All we have to do is look into John Mara stating that he wouldnt let Barkley get traded at the trade deadline "because it looks like we are giving up". I'm all for letting this regime "plan their work and work their plan".

Rodgers is still a top 10 QB, easily. And their OL was bolstered with Tyron Smith (all pro last year) and John Simpson. Plus there's a chance they land one of the top OL in the draft. I hate the jets more than anyone... but let's be realistic. There are a whole lot of IFs for the Jets, though. IF Rodgers stays healthy, IF Tyron Smith can play a full season (hasn't done that since 2015), IF this Simpson guy is any good (PFF grades him similar to Runyan Jr...I know, PFF). The Jets no doubt have a talented team, but it's also reliant on a lot of old injury prone guys at key positions. That generally does not hold up. I would take Eluemunor/Runyan over the Jets OL additions on durability alone. Simpson is nothing special. Those are typical Jet moves. But the biggest IF on the Jets is the complete buffoon that's coaching them. I doubt even Rodgers could overcome that.

No place. I'm not the one crying. Thanks for the support, Miggs! 6 win seasons are a bottom 5 roster are frustrating! I support the Giants, not my job to keep you happy. LOL, not Miggs either.

At least we're not the Jets. If RT is secure they might be scary. They are in position for a nice player at #10 too. More OL, maybe Bowers, another WR? Yes the Jets are going to take 1 of those 3 positions (OL, WR, TE) at #10. There is an argument for every one of those positions. Especially if Odunze or Nabors are still on the board. Maybe only 1 maybe 2 at the most of those top OT's are off the board. Bowers at TE should be there. I don't know if they have a 2nd rd pick but there should be another good player available if they have a pick in the 2nd rd.
