Saquon fumbled quite a bit too. couldn't you use The offensive line excuse for Daniel Jones too? Daniel Jones is a Good Franchise QB but he had a bad offensive line and $hit Receivers. Saquon has 6 fumbles in his entire career he seemed to have a lot last year like that Eagles game where he was taking it to the house and fumbled it Devito would have gotten his 4th win in a row if Barkley didn't fumble it...

Almost impossible to answer as it mostly comes down to the impact/growth of the drafted players over the last 2 seasons.
Thibs, Neal, Banks, Nabers, Wan'dale, JMS, Nubin, Ezeudu, Flott, Hyatt, Phillips, Bellinger, Johnson, Belton
Example Thibs & Bank becoming dominant tips the scale certain ways if this becomes the case. Nabers taking the league by storm does so as well.
Though there is the possibility Jones is broken mentally and physically. Its also possible that fans viewing Jones as bad as they view him has been overstated and hyped. After game 2 he was without Thomas & Barkley for the next 3 games before getting knocked out himself.

lol...how does losing Waller hurt at all? Yeah other then CAP it's not a loss. Who on the Giants is better than Waller? Feel very comfortable that the Giants running back position will not see a fall off after Barkley's departure. Hope that both Nubin and Phillips can earn the right to start, and be decent players.

The Giants have addressed their most glaring major holes, and by doing son has upgraded it's roster. The Giants still have room to add three to five future released free agents from signed free agents that went undrafted, and from other NFL teams that release players.
Will be interesting to see when the final cuts are made how many not so good players are either starting or play on game day.

Daboll seems to upgrading his act. Lost weight and appears calmer. Good for him.

One reason that the fall off from Barkley's departure is the fact that both new RB's will be playing behind a better OL.

So glad Schoen is not re-signing Adoree Jackson as he got burnt almost everytime on long passes. Wish Holmes also was not resigned.

Overrated maybe, but Saquon never seemed like a RB who didn't like contact. I feel bad for him more than anything, he carried the ball way more than most RBs in the league behind a poor oline for years...major injures, took a beating, and kept going. Tiki used to fumble the ball every other time he got hit his first few years in the league. Bradshaw injured half his career. Once the Giants oline declined Jacobs was known as the Tiptoe Burgler, wasn't great before he got his speed up downhill. Saquon fumbled quite a bit too. couldn't you use The offensive line excuse for Daniel Jones too? Daniel Jones is a Good Franchise QB but he had a bad offensive line and $hit Receivers. I was never on board with the Barkley pick and am glad we didn't sign him to an extension. But to say he didn't run hard and fumbled quite a bit is so far from reality I don't know what to tell you. In nearly 1500 touches he had 6 fumbles.

Based on one press conference. Awesome. A few press conferences. A few offseason press conferences? And you can tell that Daboll has calmed down? Does he normally destroy the podium in fits of rage? Makes as much sense as any of your ****ing god awful football takes.

Makes as much sense as any of your ****ing god awful football takes. Mara has expressed his unhappiness with Daboll's behavior. If you don't believe that has been passed down to Daboll and he's not making any so be it. Confident you'll see a diiferent Dabol on the sideslines to begin the season. Get your head out from under the sand. Good to see that Daboll is also getting control over his health and appearance by losing weight.

Looks like Scheon has done a good job both in free agency and the draft. Now it's up to Daboll to show he's a good HC.
