So another big need is pass rush help. I'm now starting to watch the available edge guys. I'm really going to focus on guys I see as a scheme fit for the 3-4. I'd love a guy that can drop into zone coverage and cover a RB or TE in a pinch.

This guy has the "twitch" that I look for. Want to see how he carries his new weight in the drills coming up.

CRAZY talent
Josh Allen seems the perfect "fit" for the Giants and their 3-4, but I'd like to try and make Oliver fit.
Hopefully, Haskins and Murray are gone, and either Williams, Allen or Oliver fall to us.

Prior, to the combine I had like Sweat.

We need a big 4th round hit. 2nd round if we go somewhere else at 17 I made that post before we had picks 17 and 95 . We had 6, 37 and 108 . For our first 3

Andrew Van Ginkel from Wisconsin is basically projected 7th round everywhere I look. He put up elite stats in basically every single category at the combine and his stats are arguably better than T.J Watt. There's a lot that he can do. Crazy athletic and versatile. If his last name was Watt he would have a lot more buzz lol

Really like Maxx Crosby as an athletic edge guy too. He definitely improved his stock with a really good combine.

Draft is STACKED with these pass rushers and DL...the more I think about it, the more Rashan Gary looks like a DG guy if Williams is gone
He knows the importance of the big talented guys on the LOS, and this draft is loaded with them.
Gary just might turn out the best player in this draft.

To me...the best option for us at #6 is Devin White. The guy is the entire package.

The fact he's already talking about his endorsement deals and the fact he's going to be looking for at least $100M on his second contract concerns me. I think the reasons are obvious, but a player who hasn't been drafted yet, let alone play a single snap, shouldn't be "warning" teams about how much he's going to want to be paid in 5 years. He also speaks in 3rd person. It always cracks me up hearing folks speak in 3rd person, but c'mon. This dude loves him some him. Seems like a herb, and potential headache. I hope Oakland or Tampa drafts him, allowing Allen or Williams to potentially fall to us.

I only read the headlines and a couple articles, so I decided to go find the video of him talking since I called him a herb and potential headache...... ....aaaaannnndddd after finding a video to watch, his interview wasn't nearly as bad as the headline/article made it seem. He did say those things, and he did speak in 3rd person which I really can't help but laugh at, but it wasn't in a money grubbing way. It was actually said it in a somewhat laughing manner. I would still rather get Williams or Allen, but as I mentioned in the original post regarding this quote, I'd be happy with White for the first five years.

Q Will and Allen are the 2 best players in the draft IMHO, so if either of them were to drop to us, I'd be really stoked. I think White is not far behind them, and would be happy with him at 6.

I feel very strongly that Dave Gettleman is smart enough with 2 picks in round one and a barrel of picks after that to make up a deal to get us a top pass rusher and a starting QB in this draft......

Ed Oliver ran a 4.7 at his pro day apparently. That's a pretty crazy number for a guy his size. I personally really like Oliver and wouldn't mind him at 6 whatsoever. Hill/Tomlinson/Oliver would be a really solid combo.
Keep in mind Oliver was getting double and triple teamed almost every play. I don't think he's Quinnen Williams or Aaron Donald as far as comparisons but he is a very very good player. Impact in the run game is nuts and should get better chances rushing the passer or if he does command regular doubles, he will help other guys get home

That's the same time DeSean Jackson ran at 174 pounds.

Hell, was pushing Bosa for the top spot in a lot of people's opinion. His impact on the game is crazy. His explosiveness when the ball is snapped is rare
