Outside the obvious (which I'll say are Barkley, beckham, and Eli), I'll go with Engram.
Had a lot thrown at him last year (too much for a rookie TE), and more than held his own. Made some outstanding grabs, ran good routes, and showed good competitive fire on the field. Look for even bigger things out of him with all the attention on Beckham, Barkley, and shepherd.

Im going Ellison too! He is a great blocker with excellent hands. He will be left unaccounted for with other players covered. I can't wait for 2 TE set with Barkley out of the backfield running flat routes. Ellison should have a very good year.

I don't know what the qualifications are for this player to name but for me my eyes are on Eli all year. If he stinks it up it's over. If he plays well we could be going somewhere this year.

Flowers. If he does ok at RT this team could be dangerous. If not and he needs help that diminishes the possibilities some.

I want to watch the defense as a whole but to pick one player it would have to be BJ Woodson and his injury problem. if he can stay healthy the d could be a surprise.

I’m interested in every player who plays for us.
Ogletree is a guy however that I’m interested in watching on defensive. I’m hoping he’s going to have a big impact our defense.

Like to see more of Avery Moss if he can healthy and earn some reps. dude balled his butt off last year in the snaps he got.
bj goodson and eli apple stepping it up and having good years would be nice.
Vernon. Lorenzo Carter.
Also, plenty of young players who could make the PS or break into the lineup. I'm always interested to see if any of them are any good in preseason.
all of the Rbs, including the two undrafted Rbs should be fun to watch in preseason.
jarron jones making the team at OT would be a hoot. sean chandler and grant haley are a couple of names in the secondary. nick gates and evan brown on the oline.
should be fun

On defense, Ogletree, Lorenzo Carter, and Eli Apple are guys I think need to perform very well if we're to have a defensive turnaround like '16. On offense, besides the stars, Brett Jones (or Halapio), Flowers at RT, Hernandez and Solder.. screw it, the entire o-line.

Really looking forward to seeing Hernandez (hopefully) change the mindset of the Oline and set the tone.

On the field: Barkley. Is this guy the future of the franchise?
Off the field: Solder. Can he deliver the leadership this locker room desperately needs?

Eli. If he goes on a run, we could be SB bound.

Ellison was left to rot on the sidelines last year when he could of helped the woefully terrible o line as well as take some dump offss from Eli. But McAdoo was to dumb to use him

I could say the most electrifying player in the NFL (beckham), or young stud (Engram) but its going to be Barkley. I have a feeling he is not gonna take the team by storm, he is going to take the league by storm.

I think the expectations on Barkley are unrealistic, for that matter expecting this team to go to and win a super bowl is all so not happening. Will we be better yes but people need to stop and think about the "newness" of this team. New Head Coach, new asst coach's, new Offense , New Defense, ..........and new players!!! It takes time for a team to jell and come together ,not saying they won't be better or we can't make the playoffs but I really think people need to dial things down just a pinch. A “win now” strategy doesn’t make a whole lot of sense if you don’t - you know - win now.

I can't wait for 2 TE set with Barkley out of the backfield running flat routes. Ellison should have a very good year. Same. After week 5 Mac had a chance to resurrect himself and change everyone's perception of him by going exclusively 12 formation because that was now our strength.Against Denver Ellison had a great game.Engram had a great game,Giants ran the ball really good against a team up until then was the top rated run defense. We all know what happened after. Ellison could be a 45 catch player if the team does go heavy 12 like we seem to be indicating, and because teams would have to account for OBJ,Sheppard,Engram and Barkley, every one of his receptions would be a 10 yard dagger.

On defense its Tomlinson. Granted he is going to be seeing a lot of double teams (which is also going go help the defense as if our 3 down linemen occupy the entire o line the linebackers will have a field day),but he will be schemed and moved around the line and also make plays
On offense I already agreed about Ellison,I'm going with Hernandez. We have not had an angry ****head with an attitude on the O line since Snee/Ohare). He just doesn't want to block,he wants to kick peoples ass.

Outside of the obvious players like Barkley, Odell and Eli, Hernandez is my player to watch. I'm really psyched to see his impact on the O-Line.

On offense, the one with the ball. On defense, the one near the ball.

A “win now” strategy doesn’t make a whole lot of sense if you don’t - you know - win now. I don't care what any rep from the team says, of course they will say win now, but the expectations for this team should be tempered a bit. Being optimistic is a good thing as long as you are realistic. There is no reason they can't turn it around if Eli plays well and the new Oline does a decent job. Even if the D takes a while to gel, they can win high scoring games.

The entire offense. If this line plays well, everyone is going to eat on offense. Eli, Odell, Engram, Sheppard and Barkley are going to be a nightmare to stop.

Hernandez, but truthfully, any of the guys in the trenches. When they play well, great things can happen.
