New York Giants star Odell Beckham Jr. tried to illegally pay $1,000 to have sex with a woman — and there is “evidence” to prove it, according to explosive new court papers filed in California. The allegations were laid out in an email from lawyer Emmanuel Nsahlai to opposing counsel that was attached to a lawsuit claiming Beckham’s one-time pal Ishmael Temple was assaulted at the Pro Bowler’s Beverly Hills home in January. Nsahlai was apparently responding to an attempt by Beckham and his attorney, Daniel Davillier, to “smear” his client’s name. “You want to call my client a ‘pimp,’ when he is a Hollywood Nightlife Promoter?” Nsahlai wrote, in reference to Temple. “Well, again, what does that say about your client interacting with ‘pimps,’” Nsahlai adds in the July 4 email to Beckham’s legal team. “And by the way, my client is not a pimp, nor even a provider of escort services, as I have repeatedly told you. In contrast, we have evidence of your client offering $1K to sleep with a girl from Arizona visiting LA known to my client.” Nsahlai notes how the alleged act is “illegal” — a violation of California’s Penal Code 647(b). “It is called ‘solicit prostitution,’ I think. I believe its a felony, but you are free to look that up yourself,” he says. Nsahlai also claims to have “evidence of drugs of the most prohibited types” being “readily available and consumed” at Beckham house parties. Nsahlai goes on to say that he offered to drop the lawsuit for $225,000 but a deal was never agreed upon. It’s unclear why. Temple filed the initial suit in March — claiming he got beat up by Beckham, his personal chef, and his private security guard to “almost a loss of his life” following a confrontation he had with them the week before. The alleged assault occurred on January 14. “As if this was not inhuman enough, Beckham then further committed assault and battery by asking that the plaintiff be thrown out of his house in the early hours of the morning even though plaintiff was soaked with blood, cut lips, lost numerous front teeth, gnashed eye lids, bloodied clothes and semi-conscious,” the complaint says. “Yet, it was this very Beckham who sent a [text message] to plaintiff, inviting him to his residence. It was defendant Beckham who knew, prior to the incident…that his security guard had assaulted plaintiff, and promised to keep plaintiff safe. Beckham was even told on that January 14, 2018, that his security guard had pulled a gun on plaintiff, and yet assured plaintiff no harm will come to him. “Acting as his agents, Beckham and the others committed heinous torts against plaintiff,” the complaint adds. “They acted with total and wanton disregard for his life in not even calling for an ambulance service for him, getting him medical attention, as he bled to near unconsciousness.” In a separate statement, Temple’s lawyer accused Beckham and his legal team of using a “vicious smear and intimidation campaign of character assassination, false statements, lies and threats” to try and scare him into dropping the case. “Mr. Temple believes that his old friend Mr. Beckham’s public relations team and camp have gone into overdrive to discredit him, leak false stories about him to the media, and get him blacklisted as an event organizer and promoter in Hollywood,” Nsahlai said. “Utilizing his power and resources, Mr. Beckham may have also called the witnesses to the incident to request their noncooperation with regards to any investigation. Odell Beckham Jr. is undoubtedly one of the iconic sportspersons throughout the nation and millions of young kids idolize him for his talent and charisma. However, from his behavior, serious questions must be asked whether this extremely popular athlete barely deserves that kind of fan following.” Beckham’s camp has repeatedly denied the beat-down allegations and filed anti-SLAPP motions to dismiss. His lawyer said Tuesday that there wasn’t any truth to the solicitation accusations, either. “Mr. Beckham denies the recently added allegations and further denies any wrongdoing whatsoever related to the alleged incident,” Davillier told The Post in a statement. “As stated before, He will not be extorted and his position as to the pending suit has not changed,” Davillier added. “Specifically, Mr. Beckham’s legal team remains fully prepared to vigorously defend against these outlandish and unsubstantiated claims. We are preparing a complaint against the Plaintiff and his attorney for civil extortion.” Temple is suing the Giants wide receiver for $15 million. nypost.com/2018/07/24/odell-beckham-jr-accused-of-trying-to-pay-woman-for-sex/

Just another bizarre story... which seem to find OBJ... I am trusting this is a non-issue.
But I will say I just want to see the Giants play football with no drama from any of the team this season.

Temple is a "Hollywood Nightlife Promoter", and got assaulted by Beckham's personal chef?
Two questions: (1) What in the world does Beckham eat that he needs an assailant to prepare it for him?
(2) How do I apply for the position of "Hollywood Nightlife Promoter"? (Remember, that's not a pimp.)

Accusation is clearly false. When you're rich and famous you don't pay a hooker for sex. No, you pay her to leave afterwards and not take a lot more of your money in the long run.
But in all seriousness, these random accusations against rich and famous persons will not stop until there are consequences for those proven to make false accusations.

www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/giants/beckham-target-extortion-man-assaulted-source-article-1.3892831"Odell Beckham Jr. target of 'extortion' attempt in million dollar lawsuit over alleged L.A. house party incident" "This is getting old," Beckham's attorney, Daniel Davillier, told the News Friday night. "The filing is full of falsehoods and misinformation, and Mr. Beckham's legal team is fully prepared to vigorously defend against these outlandish and unsubstantiated claims. Mr. Beckham denies any business or other relationship with plaintiff, and further denies any wrongdoing whatsoever." The lawsuit, according to the source, claims that Temple has known Beckham for more than half a decade since Beckham went "to UCLA." Beckham, of course, attended LSU, not to mention he barely knows Temple at all, the source said, as his attorney also referenced. Moreover, while the TMZ report said Temple claims he was attacked "and woke up to kicks to his face and Beckham did not order security to stop," the source tells a different story: That Temple was drunk and belligerent at the party, and that Temple had attacked a chef working the party with a bottle of Hennessy after the chef had asked him not to drink from the bottle. Temple, who'd been asked already by security to leave, ignored the chef's request and attacked him with the bottle, per the source, and the chef pushed Temple off of him. At that point, security forced Temple to leave. Beckham, meanwhile, was not even in the room or aware of what was happening, per the source. Furthermore, while the TMZ report claims Temple was invited to Beckham's house, the Los Angeles area house didn't even belong to Beckham; nor is it the offseason home Beckham is staying in now. Temple, the source said, asked Beckham for money first and said if OBJ didn't pay him then he would file a lawsuit. The source said Temple didn't file a police or incident report that night or go to a hospital that night and only saw a doctor days later. Temple claims in the TMZ report that he was punched in the back of the head, stomped on and had to spend $18K just to fix his teeth while sustaining other injuries. "Ishmael Temple has expressly acknowledged in his own lawsuit that Odell Beckham, Jr. never once touched him; and yet, Mr. Beckham is being sued for an alleged altercation that definitively did not involve him at all," Beckham's attorney told the News. "In January, 2018, Mr. Temple arrived drunk and belligerent at a third-party, private residence at which Mr. Beckham was also present, among others. Mr. Temple made threatening remarks to several attendees, at which point he was repeatedly asked to leave. When he refused, and aggressively threatened yet another attendee, he was involved in a fight with that person. The situation was diffused, and Mr. Temple was escorted off the premises. "Even though Mr. Temple agrees that Mr. Beckham was in no way involved in the physical altercation, neither as a participant nor as an instigator, he nevertheless demanded money from Mr. Beckham, and has now filed a meritless suit against him," the lawyer added. "(We) are confident that Mr. Beckham has no legal liability to Mr. Temple, and (we) have no intention of giving in to what amounts to a shakedown attempt. This guy claims somebody assaulted him to near death, but there's no police report, no hospital record, no evidence of an actual injury, and he asserts that Odell is responsible. This is clearly a frivolous lawsuit. We'll see him in court."

he's young, rich, popular, celebrity kind of.... he is going to party so these things are going to happen. The only only way to avoid this stuff is if he lives a clean quiet life. That aint happening. He just has to keep himself out of real trouble. However if he keeps this life style up real trouble will find him eventually.

It never ends with this guy. It won’t bother me at all if they don’t resign him, it’s only a matter of time before he gets suspended. It never ends with those like yourself who don't like him. So, someone can lie on the guy, but you will deliberately turn a blind eye to that, because you don't like Odell. Anyone who reads this story, and believes what this lying fraud is accusing Odell of, are believing it due to a bias against him.
