You're such a Clown ey.....He is entering the infamous 15 million dollar Gold en range ...that was what Seattle offered and Clowney said no...Seattle now has tired of him and Cleveland with their still large cap space might scoop him up .... I'd still add him to a one year show me deal at 16 for the Giants, just to annoy TEM, and I guess now you...but Golden at 7 per would work as well...2- 3 year deal with 10 guaranteed What's your rankings of pass rusher this draft in case we do a trade back and get stuck having to choose between the non athletic technique master Espensa who is dropping or the athletic freak Yetur Gross-Matos, who some see as a JPP clone

Although if I'm the Browns I take him on that 1 year $16m all day and add him to that D. I still think we might land Golden for $7-$8 which would be great.
I think for this team it would be between
Gross-Matos Baun Okwara
Epenesa
I don't think we have a fit for Epenesa. Not sure we will get any of the others though because I think we will be in OL territory if they are on the board round 2. IMO pass rush won't be added until later in the draft this year, just the way I see it playing out.

Agreed...and I'm reading teams might want him to add some weight ... his technique is amazing though. I was watching some nice tape on him and he has the best technique of any pass rusher this year. You put some athletic abilities on him and he's a Bosa type prospect. Combine killed him ... but the tape is simply off the charts.

Maybe we run a mack truck formation with 4 DTs on the field at once.

On the tweet from DJ about the league all wanting speed on both sides of the ball, in the comments section, one comment suggested Bill Belichick would then go bigger, as he does his own trends against the usual...I found that oddly true. And would you not know, on path to the draft, they had the Patriots taking...Espensa BB - trend setter We take Brown from Auburn, and he is a great player...at 4...you going to throw a remote or accept it?

I won't throw a remote on draft night no matter what. Brown is a beast and could be great. Would certainly set a trend with 4 DTs 0 DEs. I don't think Bill would go bigger though, big doesn't beat speed, he would go smarter. That's how you beat speed. It's like rock paper scissors.

I would put Marlon Davidson and Terrell Lewis there also on day 2. Gross Matos would be ideal if he falls to the second round for us. The pass rushing speed drops off the cliff after him.

I honestly have not watched too much on the pass rushers, especially deep. I don't think matos would make it to us in the 2nd. I'm sure Detroit would love to add Okudah and Matos.

Both great choices - 2 studs. I’ve seen a lot of both. Lewis has had some injury concerns but at full strength is the real deal. I have Marlon in my mock. Would love to see him in Giant blue.

If we dont get 1 of the fab 4, i guess my next favorite OT would be Lucas Niang, who's biggest question mark is his recovery from his hip injury

Isaiah Wilson can be had at number two. He is not. a LT , but should be able to handle RT. A. Jackson, could be available at two, but could go lower first round. Jackson, will turn 21 yrs old May 17th. I don’t know if he is a day one starter. Another , RT is Lucas Niang ( TCU ) should go in the second round. Remember, any OT Giants draft will compete for RT , pick four or thirty - six . The exact reason we picked up Fleming. He does 3 things . He is a possible starter. He is a back out plan .If who ever we draft as an OT proves he needs more time to develop. He is our injury contingency plan. if he is a starter this line is in trouble. I would rather pulley at center then Fleming at rt.

And this is the only reason I justify doing this. Disclaimer... Young makes this defense a monster (I then sign Williams and then extend Tomlinson because we now have our front 3 set for years and they are young and improving)in the front 7..... he to me is the best player in the draft... But We still have gaping holes at both OTs...... If we sit at 36 we probably also lose out on any chance of having even a decent chance of a day one instant upgrade at T..... So This is my plan 1.the defense will have to be done as far as adding anything else meaningful this year,Young takes care of getting the difference maker.... 2.Im trading back into the 1st ...but now the dilemma... We still need a day one instant upgrade at C..... not having our regular 3rd hurts... I'm targeting Jones or Jackson... So I'm trading this year's 4th,next year's 3rd and maybe throw in Engram if we have to(Smith and Tohilo could be a good 12 and a late round pick). So Young Jones Biadesz Quez Watkins (the outside dynamic playmaker we need to compliment Slayton) Other stuff.. Again Young is the only reason we do this ..... But I'd be very happy with this plan B young makes this defense monster? Unless he playing both edge spots, DT, LB, CB, SS, and FS this defense isn’t close to being a monster. Not by a country mile. The defense is the unit which should be drawing the most draft attention. Chase young won’t be a big sack guy in the NFL, more streaky like Clowney.
