You feel bad for me without even knowing a thing about my ideas for this team??? That's doesn't make any sense not sure why you would say that.. There is a plan and it's not dumpster diving at the 12th hour!!! That plan would be to trade back the 2nd pick to collect a bunch of high drafted players... Sorry don't take it the wrong way I don't like to be insulted by computer lol and if I did that to you I'm sorry, agree I liked that model as well but management liked Barkely better and I firmly believe DG knows what he is doing all GMs make mistakes hope this isn't one of them ,the silver lining is that I do believe they got a freak of a RB it might take a couple of games to get the timing down but this guy is RB/WR he can run the whole route tree and do it as good as a wideout, all I'm saying is he won't be the biggest mistake, one other thing in the trade down scenario is that they would of had to go out of the top 10 I believe, supposedly the talent drop off was pretty big after that. Insulted by a computer?? Another response that doesn't make sense.. I wasn't insulted by your comment... I just don't understand why you would say it so that you can comment about it.. There was a great deal of talent in this draft going into the 3rd round which hopefully the Giants capitalized on this year.. Trading back out of the top 10 could've still gotten Penny and hopefully a good Olineman or corner back which there were still good ones in the 2nd..

I said it because you sound ticked about the way the draft went but disregard, and I said insulted by computer I try to be decent while typing not cool throwing nasty comments and what not around on the internet, no worries I just told you what I read Penny seems like a decent back but I don't think he is on Barkey's level, now guise I liked but they say he was a problem child or hard to deal with dude was solid tho.

I just don't get why people make something up like you did claiming I expected this team to be turned around in 1 year.. Where this came from is confusing and something I try not to do when posting to people because it's just not the correct way to discuss things.. This team was 3-13 with a few underachieving 1st round picks and instead of picking up one player who might be amazing for a few years I would've rather built a roster with a few more high end draft picks.. If Barkley plays out of his mind and they win a championship with him then I'll gladly admit my theory was wrong..

I don't get the whole hang up here they didn't go in that direction I agreed I liked that draft strategy but we will never know one way or the other,Barkely could play out of his mind and they could still not win all we can do is hope for the best.

Not at all this is what it's all about, think you have a lot oh valid points but they did what they thought was right, to me either way we couldn't go wrong they view Barkely as generational they chose that more picks would have been greta but were not there so for I try to focus on where we are.

That's where they are at and because I offered a way (like many others thought they should've done instead) ended up giving us a chance to chat some... Enjoy the moment.. GO GIANTS!!

Seems very clear to me. They needed to upgrade the roster. And all I said the dumpster diving isn't a favorable way of doing it.. Since they didn’t have much cap space they didn’t have much of a choice.

People like to fantasize about how things would be in their hypothetical worlds. I wanted them to draft a QB and then trade the second round pick for a whole bunch of great players. Or trade the #2 spot for a bunch of awesome players and then draft a franchise QB in round 2. See? It's super easy and it doesn't matter that neither scenario is real, that's the beauty of being a message board GM.

They only had 4RBs and a FB? One of the RBs was Stewart which amounts to nothing. So you basically are going to run with Barkley & Gallman??

So you would naturally think if they didn't have room for both that Martin would take his spot seeing Martin beat out Simmons on the final 53 right? Seems logical.

Oh great another "they cant be good since so and so cut them" person.... You do understand that good players can be on bad teams and vice versa, and not everyone that gets cut is a crap player, right?? Good players can be on bad teams. Cut guys aren’t on the team. I have a major issue with players CUT by bad teams. As in OFF(not on) the bad team. Technically, wouldn't that make Okwara a bad player? Since he was cut from a 3-13 team?

I can't imagine the size of the collective shit everyone takes in their pants once Tanney is released.

Mayfield was my choice... Would like to stay in Fantasy land and claim the Giants were going to select him but the Browns surprised everyone.. Rosen is a crystal diva and his career will prove that out. Mayfield has been far better in preseason than I expected, but I remain in the "show me" category.
I do think Darnold, Allen and even possibly Jackson and Rudolph will do better than Rosen/Heisman.
