Done deal. Cowboys are officially melting down. We're officially 1/2 game out with a division game on TNF dude there's a legit chance we win the division. The eagles are using 4th stringers and the cowboys were struggling even with Dak. Yeah but I'm pretty sure the Eagles can field a team of 7th grade girls and still beat the Giants.

I am pulling big for this team of course but they have shown they are not ready for anything like that . Jones' game is a mess due to himself the roster and the oline. They would have to take huge steps and I dont see that at all. Before the season started I had them at 6-8 wins. Now they will be lucky to win 4. I am not usually a negative fan but what I have seen this season so far has pushed me in that direction

My God, if we only held on to beat the hapless Cowboys we would be in first place in the NFCE right now... Wow. I have no words.
Cowboys are AWFUL. Eagles are bad. Skins are terrible.
Giants are atrocious.
But someone has to win.

Is it: Atrocious / Awful / Terrible / Bad ?
The middle 2 are throwing me.

I just saw Zack Martin got knocked out of the game with a concussion...
So, they dont have one original starter from their "dominant OL" from a year plus ago. Martin, Smith, Collins, Looney, Frederick
Its starting to show.

The eagles are now down to only two starters left on offense (Wentz and Kelce) and a lot of the o-line is 3rd string. Wow.

Im so glad we didnt hire Mike McCarthy. Was never a fan of him. He was a product of Aaron Rodgers IMO.

Cowboys are 2-4
A win vs the Falcons who completely collapsed after being up huge. And another vs the Giants, another 1-5 team, they won with a last second FG and were down big in as well.
They are awful.

Seemed like we were cancer. Didnt want anything to do with us, so we hired a no name inexperienced coordinator who has never been a HC on any level. Hope it pays off.

We got lucky with Coughlin But we have seen the big name guys flame out badly at 2nd stops just as much as assistant coaches getting their first time jobs as well There is no magic bullet for right method

Did you really want any of those guys? Rhule gave the Giants last look so one can hardly pretend that he didn't want anything to do with us, it was the other way around. The Giants turned him down. McCarthy was never a serious candidate and while I have no issue with Rivera it doesn't seem the Giants were all that interested in him.

Im so glad we didnt hire Mike McCarthy. Was never a fan of him. He was a product of Aaron Rodgers IMO. It was all BS, when there were reports stating that he had some sort of epiphany and he's now into analytics and he's modernized his offense to go with how the game is played nowadays. It was basically free PR for the guy and it worked, I gurantee you it was probably someone from his inner circle that released that garbage to try to stir up some interest in the guy.

If you're gonna retread someone I guess he'd be OK but I was frankly happy we didn't go that way.

I agree with this about McCarthy's players not buying into the system, and Giants players doing the opposite and getting better each week.

The good news is that Jerry is impatient. In this case that may be a good thing. There is talent all over that roster.

I usually am on board with you but Jerrah's (henceforth will be called Booger) impatience is way overshadowed by his loyalty. He stuck with Garrett 10 years. He gives all his big name players big contracts. No. I'm afraid Booger will stick with what is appearing to be an inept McCarthy. This all bids well for the rest of the inept NFCE. I'm a bit nauseated every time I think about the Cowboys after entering the season much more optimistic about the team and staff. They suck ! Worst defense I've ever seen. I refuse to use the MASH unit OL as an excuse.

Complete meltdown of cowboys taking place. They won't recover from it rest of this season, and maybe next few given their big contract pac of overpaid losers and instability at QB position

Excluding SF blowout, This team has lost by 10, 4, 8, 3 & 1 pts in their other 5 losses. Losing SB probably cost us a 4-2, 3-3 record & being in 1st place in this div. Unfortunately, TB will more than likely thrash us to go 1-7 & after that, I just hope to see the team play good , competitive football the rest of the yr as they finish with a top 3 pick & hopefully, with a good draft, FA signings & a healthy SB back, we can start playing some good football in 21'. a 7-9 season would be a huge step forward towards becoming a legit playoff contender in 22' & beyond.
